A good Deus Ex experience for on the go, as playing a few minutes here and there throughout the day feels satisfying. Deus Ex: The Fall was excellent, but that game I need to play at least an hour of for it to feel worthwhile. I will say this game is a real battery vampire though, especially on high settings (the animations I especially liked). Even when I play with the charger plugged in, the power percentage still rapidly goes down, so play it sparingly. There's also no need for any of the stuff offered from the microtransactions I'm glad to say.

In fact it's a step back. I hated the step limitations of Hitman Go and found the goals too repetitive and arbitrar. Lara Go focused much more on great diverse puzzles and discovery. Deus Ex yet again introduces stupid step limits and "boring" level mechanics in concise environments. In comparison to Lara, this is a disappointment.

Another step forward in SE's GO series and mobile gaming. It has the same simple yet challenging puzzling gameplay, but unfortunately with less story and depth than both Hitman and Lara Croft. The free weekly content from events and the community is great for new content, but I'd rather see a complete and refined game rather than one that depends on continual support for a full experience. Keep up the great work though! The passion is still there, and I look forward to seeing future projects from Montréal.

UPDATE: LIVE PUZZLE PROBLEM IS FIXED!! The game can be very challenging as you progress. And the live puzzles are hell to play, but it's part of the fun. Only reason I give this 4 stars is because it drains my battery a lot, even at low quality and all. My phone gets really hot after about 15 mins of playing which is very annoying... Also need zoom feature. Some maps are very big and it's impossible to master the first time unless you manage to take screenshot during the first few seconds

by I####:

Excellent puzzler, very much in the spirit of Lara Croft Go and Hitman Go, but with some unique scenarios that play on the cyberpunk theme. The music and visual presentation are fantastic, and the animations give the takedowns a definite thrill. The value is also quite strong since the challenge level ramps up effectively without feeling too easy or overwhelming. I got legitimately stuck for awhile on a few puzzles (despite being quite experienced at this kind of game) but never felt like the game was unfair or impossible.

I just won some solutions by finishing daily challenge and level up. But after I solved two special event puzzles, they just gone. This problem appeared before but I thought I used them. Now I can assure you that I didn't use any solution just now. Please help! Thank you!

If I need to go to Google to figure out basic mechanics because there is zero tutorial in this game it is a failure of game design. Also the bonus praxis kits in Deus Ex Mankind Divided are one time use for one save only. Kind of a let down for people who want to do multiple play throughs (like me :/). Aside from that this game is just OK... Not great not terrible just OK.

Movement can feel sluggish and slow to respond at times. Frame rate drops can also be a pain but it is a very polished looking game. But the whole concept of the game seems very well thought out with challenging puzzles requiring planning. The story offers great depth to keep you coming back.

Awesome, but you guys got GREEDY, no permanent (unlimited) tip pack like Lara & Hitman have. Awesome looking game and complex BUT even if i love Square Enix games i will give it 5 stars and to other games i bought and play from you when will make Life Is Strange for Android to!

D70%
by D####:

Initially this looks less interesting than Tomb Raider Go, but as you keep playing it grows on you... Absolutely love this game, quite possibily my favourite in the series. The puzzles can be quite mind bending!

Game wouldn't load up I'm on a brand new phone doesn't work. Google play won't refund I know they do this

D70%
by D####:

It is a great game. It is good that the game never ends with the daily and weekly challenges. Limiting undos unless I buy more is just money grubbing. Also, the app should not require access to my contacts, unless you are snooping. Shame on you you money grubbing snoops.

Game doesnt start on my Asus Z00AD (Intel Processor) 4GB ram. Tried reinstalling, futile effort. Fix this ASAP pls....am eager to play this highly rated game. If not fixed, I should get a refund

D70%
by D####:

For a series about multiple paths towards accomplishing its objectives, it's disappointing to see that the puzzles are constrained to only one solution. The simple gameplay and graphics end up being fine, but the controls are finicky at times and can lead to accidental deaths, which can get frustrating. If you dislike trial and error gameplay it's not for you, but for those who like Deus Ex, puzzle games, and some light story there is some enjoyment that can be found here, and it is worth the current sale price of 99 cents.

The whole GO series is perfect for me. With constant interruptions, one hand, and short time spans, a bite-size, turn-based puzzle game with single hand controls is perfect! Not to mention the beautiful cyberpunk aesthetic in tge Deus Ex version here. Nothing beats functional.

R70%

This is closer to the tedium of Hitman GO than the fun puzzle-solving of Lara Croft GO. Better than the former, but worse than the latter. Since I have to buy hints, when I find myself saying, "I don't know how this is physically possible," I close the game and look it up online.

I played Laura Croft Go and loved it so much that I download this one. Not a good, but still pretty awesome. Maybe I just like Laura better than Denton. I really like the user generated puzzles though.

Fell in love with this style of game with Hitman GO but I feel it has been perfected with the deus ex take on the game play and look. It's just incredible and a bargain for what you get

This game is an absolute blast. I never thought it looked that interesting, but it's on sale right now, so I thought I'd grab it since it does have good reviews. What a pleasant surprise it was! I also went ahead and grabbed Hitman GO and Tomb Raider GO as well.

If Google allowed for half-stars, I would have given it a 4.5. It is a solid game with nice graphics and very good puzzles. Many of them had me scratching my head for quite a few a few minutes. As a Deus Ex fan, I thought the music and environments were spot on, and I loved the addition of hacking terminals and using augmentations to solve puzzles. Unfortunately, I played this after finishing Lara Croft Go, which shows what Square Enix is capable of, but didn't achieve in Deus Ex Go. I truly enjoyed the game, but the "story" was half-hearted, the ending was non-consequential (despite the name), and I didn't feel engaged with Jensen the way I did with Lara. I was particularly disappointed that an effort was made to force a choice at the end, but it literally made ZERO difference how you completed the level. Also, the enemies were much less complex, which wasn't made up for with the augs and hacking. There was no equivalent of the salamanders or snakes, for instance. I would still rate this game well, because it was definitely worth the price of entry, but it's not the best in the series.

D70%
by D####:

I like that somehow the game makes the stealth feel daring even though it's turn based, some puzzles rely on information about the mechanics of the world that are very poorly or not communicated though, still, the whole thing was very enjoyable

D70%
by D####:

It could have been a tad more intuitive to control, but I like the tactical puzzle set-up with a good looking Deus Ex aesthetic. Nice little distraction so far (room 14 I think), will update review later.

Crashes on start with SD430 and 3gb ram. Please fix it.I just paid Rs.60.WTF!!!Update:Nvm after enabling permissions it's working brilliantly.

I really liked Laura Croft Go, so I thought I'd give Deus Ex Go a try. I like it, but I must admit there are a few items that I had to resort to the internet to figure out how to use. Laura Croft Go usually had a simple puzzle to introduce you to a new item. Still, this game is fun, and I am enjoying the story.

I70%
by I####:

Story mode is very difficult but fun, community puzzles are so simply silly sometimes while others are challenging. Good puzzler, plus PRAXIS!

D70%
by D####:

It's like the Hitman and Lara Croft spinoffs that came before it, but with daily challenges, a written narrative and a level editor! What's not to love?

D70%
by D####:

Some of the achievements can no longer be acquired after the latest update so it would be nice if they were removed or replaced.

D70%
by D####:

Fun puzzles and decently challenging. It could be clearer when it gives you new abilities though. But as long as you know to look for them, it's several hours of fun for just the main story.

Z70%
by Z####:

After playing every level of Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO I'm sad to see the more fun optional objectives gone and replaced with just a "Do this level in the least steps possible." I thought picking up the briefcase, killing all/no enemies, killing no dogs and the eye spy urn collecting in the previous two games were all more fun and interesting than the side objective in Deus Ex. That being said I like that we are getting more of a story told to us than in previous games, the powers feel appropriate and fun to use, the animations and design are awesome. The side objective would be my only complaint and it's a minor one at that. Interested in what the next game Montreal works on is, hope these continue to be a success for you all!

Game now shuts my phone down after a minute or two of gameplay. Never did this prior to latest upgrade from Google. Even a factory reset of the phone did not resolve. This is on Nexus 6p

D70%
by D####:

The visuals are amazing on this one however the downside being its a battery hogger. Inspite of having minimal graphics I thoroughly enjoyed hitman go and lara craft go more than this. However if you love puzzle games you'd enjoy this.

Nice gane. Control can get u killed several time becuase of wrong movment.

Atmospheric and delightfully tough puzzles toward the end. You can buy your way to an easier time of it, but you don't need to.

D70%
by D####:

Difficulty reached the point it's no longer fun. Needing to calculate each move for an entire level, is no longer enjoyable. Not my cup of tea.

U70%

The game offers good, challenging puzzles but is a bit feels a bit short compared to Lara Croft Go for example. Definitely a good buy if you are a fan of the Deus Ex franchize or if it is on a sale.

G70%

An interesting (if not totally maddening) way to get fans of the Deus Ex series to wrap and bend their minds around solving unusually complicated puzzles.

D70%
by D####:

5/5. Needs a bit of thinking and harder than Lara Croft GO. Excellent graphics. It's all about future tech, robots, hacking and consiparies.

D70%
by D####:

doesn't really compare to lara croft and hitman go. the game lags even on the lowest quality on my S6, even though lara croft go (which is a nicer looking game in my opinion) runs just fine. the gameplay is good though and it is worth the dollar.

D70%
by D####:

Awful loading times, absolutely no clue what to do either, no tutorials or even anything telling you your objective, not a hundredth as good as the others. Avoid.

D70%
by D####:

I enjoy playing this game each time I pick it up and play it, it really makes you think and strategize. The type of game it is fits well into the Deus Ex style and context. It's great, I like it.
