I'm pleasantly surprised a game like this can be packed in a phone. I'm not far into it, but the game works well and the storyline is quite intriguing. The voice acting is a nice addition to it, really legitimising this into a full-fledged. My only feedback is, for the love of God, please lower the volume when you select options from the main menu. I always forget how loud it can be and it scares the absolute bejezuz out of me, even on medium volume.

Bad skill naming. They dont relate at all with what they do. Makes them hard to remember, need to get used to them first. Other than that, this is the coolest game i've ever played on phone

Would definitely buy the next installment of this series!!! PS: Would be great if there was an option to transfer save games to another device. WHEN IS THE NEXT CHAOS RINGS COMING OUT? LOL

need sequel. already completed all A,B & C quest. the price is to high for me but it totally worth it. ready buy it if you make chaos ring 4.

Loved this game. Easily one of, if not the best game on mobile. Only complaint would be it crashed here and there, but it was so infrequent and with how often the game autosaves, it was never much of a problem. Loved the Persona-esque gameplay, the original and impactful story, and the emotional OST. I can't recommend this game enough!

May update when I get further in but so far the gameplay has been a pretty solid jrpg. Controls have been good, for a smartphone title. It's kind of like shin megami tensei: iv. You get a bunch of souls of legendary people and can fuse them for a new soul with inherited skills. One thing that really bothered me was that they made a bunch of the males (like Shakespear and D'Artagnan) into busty anime chicks. Why? You know why. And it's obnoxious.

Wow! I just finished the story, and omg it's the best by far for a phone. Loved it the game play was creative, story was amazing, But what is up with this to be continued? I'm dieing the next part to this has got to come out soon.

This game is by far one of the best mobile games. Great story line. Amazing graphics. Well worth the 20 bucks. Also if you don't have Wi-Fi it's all good because you won't need it except for the download. This game definitely was an epic win.

12/30/2016 App crashes when naming the character. Restarted my device and after working for one play through the problem still persists. 2/8/2017 Update: Same crash continues to happen. Not worth $19.99 until a future (doubtful) update.

We need more games like this on Android. Probaly the best mobile game ive played. It just has that great quality that you would find in console game. Now we just need Squenix to re-release Chaos Rings 1&2!! C'mon make it happen! Take my money already!!!!!

This was a really great game that you can easily put a lot of time into, but it's missing a lot of the old elements the previous Chaos Rings installments had. The story isn't nearly as dark (or in my opinion nearly as compelling) and the soundtrack isn't quite as good as the previous Chaos Rings. Definitely buy it if your looking for a slightly more typical though good JRPG but if your just buying it it because you liked the previous Chaos Rings you should consider this more carefully.

Just finish the first episode and had to write a review. It's good! I like the fact that the Jap dialogue was kept intact with English subtitles. If it was dubbed all the emotion in their voice would be dead. Plus I love Jap anime so hearing in Jap was a treat for me. The translation is good minimal lost a few i notice but nothing big. Good graphics, smooth gameplay, wrapping it up here. Wonderful story, unique amazing music, for a mobile and the price it's a real bargain. Plus good humour :-) this game should be a editor choice pick! Best rpg game I played on mobile!

This game is pretty good. A little repetitive and pretty easy but something to keep me busy for the 2 hour a day bus rides I take to work. I have an Android Motorola G5 and it runs pretty well.

The biggest problem here is that this game desperately needs an update. It's been over a year without an update, and that becomes more evident as it gets played on newer hardware. I'm playing this on a Galaxy Note 8, where it's immediately obvious this doesn't automatically hide the navbar to qualify as an "Immersive mode" application. Also, there's just a big black box dead center the bottom of the screen that persists through cutscenes even when no one's talking. Likely a rendering issue, but it's present within the first minute of gameplay on higher DPI displays. The navbar hide is an incredibly easy fix, and the weird display oddities are too. That aside, the game's awesome. Fresh, fun gameplay, great music, good controls, good graphics... just needs some minor systematic updates to get it up to speed. I returned it the first time I bought this, then decided it was worth buying again and hoping such a big company would consider it's buyers important enough to fix what's broken.

I love this game. I've been taking my time with it to get the most out of the story. The only issue is that since the Android update it has been unable to load. Please fix this!

A wonderful RPG great story cool characters decent combat system. I would like to have seen some better endgame content. Some of the levels are repetitive as well

Frequently crash on my zte axon 7, please fix it ASAP. Control not smooth & glitchy when swiping through menu, moving while adjusting camera view, traditional level up system wouldve been better. Otherwise, interesting plot, good storyline, great graphic.

I love it but seriously could be easier to actually get good genes or get stronger cuz its kinda painful to have to vs level 40 characters in the story and do like 1% damage at most and get one of your chars killed on the first turn

Started to play it on an older phone I have now I lg Stylo 2 plus and crashes on the beginning where you enter the name. Please fix

Every time I am prompted to type a name it crashes the game. Can this be fixed? I don't know what causes it.

I found it fun but when i finshed the second chapter of the game it deleted my saved file can you fix that it really pissed me off when i went to play it

Absolutely an amazing game. It's been a while since I"ve stayed up late just to play a game, and to be honest, I'm only stopping because not only am I tired, but my neck hurts lol from looking at the tablet. Really wish it had gamepad compatibility, but that can be worked around if need be. Super worth getting.

to chaos Rings... this is kingdom hearts without the poison of Disney. CR is serious an not about "kids vs the world" overtone.

kind of sucks i paid for them and can no longer play them!... never beat CR2, and its looking more and more like FFXV will be the last SE title i will be wasting money on.

A game that is not known by many becos of the price, but its graphics, gameplay and story is top notch. Its been a long time i give such high praise to a game.

Really really shocked there is actually an amazing, turn based, fully complete no iap, modern, straight to mobile Final Fantasy. This isn't a mobile game - it's not small or limited or cheaply made. Great, enchanting characters, complex battle system, simple controls that even on my small phone don't hurt my hands! So good. Please support. Also my phone was £60 new and the graphics are great!

I am a avid gamer grew up playing jrpg's and mostly only game in pc but I dl this game to try while traveling and I am blown away this is the first mobile game I really love. I play with the note 4 and I haven't experienced any bugs so far. I love that you don't need an Internet connection to play and I especially love that there's no in app purchases. This was designed for mobile it truly shines as a diamond among the rough.

It starts out okayish and quickly surpasses amazing. If you have been let down with any Square mobile games/ports, this golden gem will probably make up for it. So much awesome, really beyond words!

I love the Chaos Rings series but Square went and ended support of the first games that started it all....there is no other way to play them anymore. This is BS square you cannot just take things away and not offer us a way to play. I have spent a lot of money on your products in my life time but you have crossed a line now

I've sunk over 50 hours into a mobile game! that is nothing short of amazing since most games are the free to play with in app purchases crap these days. This is a console quality game priced way too low. Top notch graphics and voice acting make this story particularly hard to forget, for any system. That it even exists on Android is a blessing. Hope they release a sequel!!

This game is really amazing I spend many hours lost in the great story and characters. The customization to the holiday events are just great I even love the fact you don't need any wifi to play it. There is not one thing I hate about the game
