Amass a following of faithful friends as you travel around the riven realms. From wandering warriors to amnesiac teens, a rich cast of characters will join you in your adventures, and help you to unlock the mysteries of your clouded world!
・Vocational Education
As you progress in the game, the hero and his party will gain access to Alltrades Abbey, where they can specialise in any of over sixteen vocations. Train your skills in your chosen vocation, and learn a multitude of spells and special abilities. After you have mastered an ability, you can still use it even if you change vocation!
・Converse Freely with your Fellow Party Members!
The party chat function allows you to converse freely with the cast of colourful characters who will accompany you on your adventure. So don’t hesitate to turn to them for advice and idle chit-chat whenever the urge assails you!
・360-Degree Views
Rotate your viewpoint in towns and villages through a full 360 degrees to make sure you don’t miss a thing!
・AI Battles
Tired of giving orders? Your faithful companions can be instructed to fight automatically! Use the various tactics at your disposal to see off even the toughest enemies with ease!
・The Slimopolis
Unlike previous titles, where monsters could only be recruited during battle, Dragon Quest VI lets you recruit an army of lovely little slimes as you travel around the world! Once you’ve recruited a slimy friend or two, head to the Slimopolis to test their mettle in a series of arena battles, with fabulous prizes on offer for any slime tough enough to emerge victorious! Train up your slimes, and aim for the championship!
・Slippin’ Slime
The slime-sliding minigame introduced in the Nintendo DS version makes its welcome return! Brush the ice in front of your sliding slime to guide it past perilous pitfalls and obstinate obstacles. Perfect your polishing action to hit the target, and send your score through the roof!

The game itself is very good. Classic jRPG gameplay, a deep class system and great-for-the-time graphics and sound. But I have to take off two stars for the glitch that kept cloud save from working for two and a half months. It's fine now, but who knows when another bug will come along? And if you look at FF7, you'll see that sometimes Squeenix Android bugs just never get fixed. Buy at your own risk!

Bugged and support is useless. It played OK until I got control of the ship. I couldn't get off so I contacted support and they said they weren't a walkthrough service. It was a bug and they're just too lazy to admit it

Cloud save is still broken. Support is aware now and working on a fix, but there's no ETA, and it took about a month to convince them it wasn't my device. Will rewrite review when it's fixed.

I fell in love with the Dragon Quest franchise after playing DQ9 (Sentinels of The Starry Skies) on the DS. As mobile games go, this has to be amongst the best around. The game is epic, compulsive, & has likeable characters.

As other people have mentioned, IV and V were great games with great stories, but I feel like VI deserves more love. The story is great and I always end up having more fun with the gameplay in this game over the other two (classes, woo!). With any Dragon Quest game though, expect a slow start, but once the game hits it's stride you'll be hooked if you're even remotely interested in this game.

Like all Dragon Quest games, it very well balanced, fun and well designed. I like DQ6 just a bit less than 4&5, mostly because this one have times where the user is forced to speak to everyone in an area, which can really feel like a drag. Android is very good as usual.

Very disappointed that there is no option to change the display language in the app. It is automatically changed by system language setting but it's a pain to change it via system setting every time I play. To play DQ in English is my worst DQ experience ever.
