FINAL FANTASY VII

Love the original. But I can't even open this one without it crashing (literally it doesn't boot) feel like I just got money stolen from me. I could play their FF9 port no problem, no bugs, beginning to end. Why doesn't FF7 work? Take this off the market until you fix it. This would be illegal if it were sold in a physical store.

Samsung Galaxy S8 plus with Android 7.0 Such a shame. After loading it for the first time and playing for a few hours, saving and closing the app, reopening the game again crashes it every time. Only a remove of the cache data will make the game open again. But that delete's the saved game. Currently playing on my Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 but that crashes sometimes as well. At least it will reload and I can continue with my last saved game.

I can't get past the March in Junon. Tutorial says to change controller to normal mode? I don't have that option. I've read every walkthrough and tried over and over.... *snore* Anyone else get past it? Wyd?

This is a 5 star game Not 3 star, don't believe the hype. Amazing to play this again. I have a moga pro and apart from the trigger bottoms not being mapped this is a perfect andoid game. Managed to complete with no issues at all. One slight downside was the trigger buttons are required for chocobo racing but just used touch screen and was fine. Will be playing through this again in no time.

Didn't work on either of my devices. The shield tab or the Google pixel. As both are easily powerful enough to run this then I consider this a poor port. Will change score when compatibility if addressed Edit Now works (so far) fine on my pixel but not my shield tab. So far so good. Glad the Devs have acknowledged that there was an issue and have put an update out. A little bit of feedback on people's comments to confirm they were working on the issues would have been nice though!

I love the game BUT the green cutscenes really kill the immersion and the story. Seriously it's like half the game is ruined because of the cutscenes being messed up. UPDATE: this game routinely crashes and it is incredible frustrating especially during long cutscenes or segments without save points. This can't be that hard to fix. If you can't handle a cellphone port how can you guys handle a full fledged remake!!!

Ok so this is my all time favourite game and it's amazing to see it ported so well on to mobile. Recently however my game has constantly been crashing to my home screen and it's making it unplayable which is a heart breaker playing on a galaxy s7 edge. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also without the crashes this would most definatly be a 5 star game.

I see a lot of people moaning and I don't understand why. This is the best game in the world and here it is on your phone. You can max all your stats and turn random battles off, which is nice if you've already played the game a million times like me and just want to relive the amazing story and music and everything else. Would have been nice for the max stats thing to master all the materia, and to also have quick saves, but it doesn't really matter too much. It works wonderfully smooth and nice. Lovely.

What can I say? It's FF7 to go on prtable devices. It's on-c Screen controls take some time to get used to. But. If you want to experience a classic on todays technology. This is the way to go. You can go for a fresh run playing it like days of olde. Grinding and what-not. Or you can select MAX STATS! This is most awesome. Also. You can "cloud" save and play between devices. What more can you ask for? $15.99 is kind of steep. Been playing this game since it was released back in 1997.

Most recent update now has it working on my s8+, updated rating accordinglly, thanks for fixing! Updated: DOES NOT RUN ON S8+, this should readily handle the game, my s7 edge did, please fix! Works great on my S7 edge. Full screen would be nice, but I'm just glad to be able to play it on the go!

Works perfectly on my LG Stylo 2 Android 7.0 so you can add that to the LG list. I tried everything to get FFVII on my phone through emulator and ISO. But I couldn't get it to work so I finally had to break down and rebuy the game. Anyways it works great and thanks for max stats!

First off love the game was so excited to see it come to mobile. Only isue I am having is that my devices can't run it smoothly. It plays just fine but is very slow. Almost to the point of not being able to be played. Can you please update the list of devices that will run the game correctly. Or at least a minimum system requirements

The story is amazing, along with all the choices. But this port, it's just terrible. 1.It keeps crashing 2.theres this ugly blue and purple thing that occurs alot in cutscenes, and very rarely uses normal colour. 3.Square enix won't bloody listen to everyone for I have seen alot of people complaining about these. Come on step ya crap up and listen.

Galaxy tab s2 user. They fi ally fixed the colors and as promised I changed my review. It took forever but the game is finally right. This game is a great port. The controls are a bit lacking but usable. To be honest while I think they could be better I don't travel a recommendation on how to fix it. I am just happy they finally fixed it for my tablet.

I love everything about this game and always have. I was super excited to be able to play it on my devices. Sadly I have tried it on three different devices, two tablets and my Galaxy s5 and I am only able to play it for a little while before it crashes. This would not be so bad if I could save anywhere, but it makes 'grinding' impossible.

It keeps soft locking right at the first encounter when I start the game. I tried a half dozen times and it soft locked every time. I tried with encounters both on and off but it kept freezing. Great game, but it does not currently work on my tablet. I have a Gigaset QV830 that ran ff9 and brave exvious as well as record keeper with no issues.

I am updating my review. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!! It crashes every 10 to 15 minutes. You will become so frustrated that it crashes before you find a save point that is an hour away. Square Enix has made this absolutely unplayable, and are not responding. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It does not work. This is nothing more than a scam now.

The controls, game play and graphics are a perfect port. However the game crashes every 20 min on both one plus one and Samsung tab S making boss battles and battle square impossible. Game thus cannot be completed properly. Such a disappointment and what a way to ruin the legacy this game has.

November update causing random crashes, making game unplayable due to hours of lost gameplay. DO NOT PURCHASE. Better off with an emulator. Square Enix has ignored all support requests and no fix/update in sight. Would rate zero or negative stars if possible. EDIT: unchanged with latest update 2/2/17 do not buy

Like many of the other reviews, the game itself is back and always was amazing. This has not changed but it constantly crashes making it frustrating as hell and near impossible to play properly due to long sections without a save point. Seriously needs fixing before I try it again!

Update: the blue screen overlay is fixed on my s6 active! Thank you for giving this issue!!!! Update: still had blue cutscenes please fix.....Square Enix please fix the blue overlay on the cutscenes, make it worth the money I just paid you please. Game itself is awesome and one of my all-time favorites.I'll update my review when fixed, I have a Samsung galaxy s6 active

I love FF7. And was really excited when the game came out on Android. I read all the reviews, and decided to pay for the game. There are a few foreclose actions but just stay on top of your saving. It takes a while to get use of the controls but very easy to adapt too.

Crashes non-stop on my pixel XL. I loved this game back in college, so this is a letdown. It's tough to get into the game as it stands now. If you forget or are unable to save every couple of minutes, you very much run the risk the damn thing crapping out and having to restart at last save. I'll try again in a few months, but I don't have my hopes up. Square.. do better.

I completed this game twice on the PlayStation 1 over 120hrs of gameplay each time, brilliant game. On my Galaxy TabS2 it keeps crashing! Even with the device update to Nougat! I've stuck with tho completing 50hrs so far but I know the really lengthy battles that lie ahead and with the game so unstable it's not worth attempting them! Please fix it ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Ooooh boy, with this last update, the game finally started working on my Google pixel, it was great!... And then the pixel updated and it broke again... I'm giving 5 stars though because when it did work, it was magical and I have high hopes for you all to update the game again.

Instead of people having to read through everything to find out if their device is compatible, just make it so it can't download to specific devices ( like most other apps). I paid and downloaded this game to my rca and now I feel like I've been screwed out of my money, so if y'all can fix the problem or refund my money, please. I cant even get the game to open and i have plenty of memory.Kind of expected more from a big name game co..

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME!!!! For it is COMPLETELY BROKEN. Square Enix knows this and will not fix the bugs yet they will continue to take your money. Heed warning people.

So happy this came onto mobile as it's the best game of all time, but without an update it's currently unplayable for me! It crashes consistently after 5-10mins and there isn't always a save point around to make sure I dont lose any progress. Is there any update coming, guys? I'm on galaxy s7. It used to crash on my s5, but not nearly as consistently.

This game always crashes. It ruins the fun you have in actually enjoying the game like exploring since the constant crashing makes reaching the next dave point a rop priority. Please fix this. Also, the cinematic clips do not have the right colors. Im using a galaxy S6.

I loved this game as a kid and played through it too many times to remember. I was living this reboot but for some reason it doesn't open on my phone anymore. I'm gutted. While it wasn't expensive it's a fair amount of money to play for a game I can't use!! I've submitted various errors to Google but to no avail. Please help and I'll give this game the rating it deserves.

First off, the game itself is fantastic. At first, I ignored the comments of the game crashing frequently in the reviews. I forgot that this game only allows you to save when you reach the save locations. This meant, when I spend 30+minutes making progress and it crashes I'm set back to the save point making it unplayable.

ALLOW SAVE ANYWHERE!! This is my all-time favorite game, but if they aren't able to fix the crashing on a game that costs money, they could at least enable you to save your progress at any point. I know the game supports it, because I had it enabled on the pc version.

I love this game and this franchise... but the constant crashes really makes me believe that this company stopped caring about its customers. So many have complained and asked for resolutions, but these complaints go unheard and unanswered.

Will gladly give this 5 stars across the board with 1 change. This game desperately needs a save state system implemented. It crashes WAY too frequently to be reasonably playable without. Saves are far too infrequent and losing so much progress is infuriating. Otherwise this looks like an amazing port of a great classic. For the amount of money this game cost I hope the company can recognize feedback like this.

I love the fine print about devices running 7.0+ - this is not the 1990's, patch more than once a year. I can play this game on a hack-job emulator fine, but I can't play the official version and pay for it? Low ratings are directly related to platform access/not working/crashes. Fix the bugs! I love the product, hate the package.

Okay nice game decent need to get rid of that blue background screen make it full screen mode. Do you need ad Save State especially if we have to pay for it game seems to crash every once in awhile please fix

This may be my favorite game and story ever created. It mirrors my daily grind. Currently I am playing, using an Ares Nextbook tablet. It has the power to allow me my almost 20th lifetime playthrough. To experience this adventure through once is a must. The app itself has a great staff keeping updates as needed.

This game started my love for gaming. The controls could be a little better but everything else, including the graphics, are as good as it was way back then. Also, I've had 0 issues with crashing or generally screwing my game up. I have about an hour and a half in so far.

Having to pay for a game that crashes every 10 minutes or so is a waste. It's virtually impossible to make it from one save point to the next without it crashing and having to replay the same thing again. FF7 is one of my favorite games but now I can't play it without feeling like I've been ripped off.

I love this game on playstation. But, I'm in Aeris' house and even if I try to walk, by only tapping the D-pad, he dashes before I even get close to the stairs! I can't progress. Fix it or refund my money! HTC Desire
