Very disappointed with this app. I love the sporcle website and was very excited to see this app in the store. I was put off paying for a while but decided to go for it. This app is NOTHING like the website. The games are vastly different, the scoring percentage humour is totally missing and generally it's nothing like the sporcle I know. I get that it must be hard to develop what has been done on the website into an app, but at the moment, it's nowhere near.

I love Sporcle but why are the badges not on the app? It's a bit pointless when people want to earn all the badges but they are not available on the app version. I'll just have to stick to website instead.

The app itself is fantastic but what influenced me to leave a review was Sporcle's customer service. They are incredibly helpful despite how persistent you might be with your issue. Great job guys.

Does not work on Google Pixel. I paid for an app that does not even show the questions. Not worth it.

Since the last update I've only run into one tiny issue, that was fixed by support in less than 6 hours. If an old review turned you off of this game please be aware that it has been updated and functions extremely well now!

I was doubtful about downloading this in the light of so many negative reviews. However many of the problems seem to have been ironed out and it is well worth the price (less than a cup of coffee). The only thing I would say is that I haven't discovered (in the first place) how long you have to play a game, and then how the time is counting down. If someone could enlighten me that would be helpful.

The app itself is fine but I have made a quiz called sports chain quiz and it is not on there I made it a month ago. Also, on the computer many more quizzes show up. You think for a 2 dollar game it could be a little better.

Search function, UI interface, and other functional issues really make the app suffer. I've been using sporcle website for years, but the app is poorly executed, and lacks any kind of usability. For instance, the app doesn't save your location within the category causing massive amounts of excess scrolling.

So I originally paid $3 or something around that for the app and even though its free now, i dont feel ripped off at all. Its a fun user updated trivia game. The only problem i have is finding new trivia games to play. The PC website has more different game types that im sure will be implimented eventually. Again, just finding new trivia is the only problem i have.

Very disappointed paying for the app when playing on the mobile website is much more convenient. The randon option is a joke, giving me the same few quizes and having to go back every time I try to pick "random".

A convenient way to enjoy Sporcle on the go but is a little clunky and not very user-friendly. The app would be much better if it displayed related quizzes and if it remembered your position while scrolling down a list of quizzes.

Just paid for this and it keeps crashing periodically. My type of app but unreliable because it crashes before you finish your game. Also the app doesn't remember your location within the category meaning you've to scroll back down through the list. Edit: I'm now 2 weeks in and any large quizzes are a nightmare as it seems the app can't handle the volume of information in them and eventually the app crashes. Very poor for a pained app.

No maps for country quizzes defeats the purpose of this app, I'll just use a web browser and struggle with clumsy controls vs not having 90% of the clues for guessing countries

Save your money kids. If you want quizzes do this online. If you want quizzes on the go, get Quiz Up. Wish I had my £2 back.

Love the website, but the selection on the app is very limited and it doesn't count towards badges which are a big part of the fun.

I love Sporcle. When I found there was an app, I immediately bought it. Boy was that a waste! Like everyone else the quiz selection is pretty lame. The integration and friendly rivalry the website encourages is sorely lacking here as well. I also wish they would add the badges to the app. I love trying to collect them all!!

It didn't keep me logged in after the first time and now when I try to reset my password it says my email is wrong. But when I go to make a new account, it says my email is already in use. Nonsense. Fix it please.

Been a long time fan of the game. Lately the app keeps crashing while I'm mid puzzle. Twice this week it has crashed while doing a puzzle with over 200 answers and the entire puzzle was wiped clean because of this. Lost A LOT of data because of this. Also the two times during that puzzle, I had used the cheats, so I lost over 100 game coins because of this problem. Hope this gets fixed soon.

To jump from the interactive website to this obviously hurried and unthoughtful effort is definitely a waste of download time. In no way did the same team who lovingly created the website do this excel app. And charge fot it? Ridiculous.

Really not worth the purchase until they fix major bugs in this. Will be getting a refund.

The selection on the app seems minimal. Also, my scores and play history seem unstable. Overall worth $1.99. Hope it evolves to address these concerns!

WTF? Where are the badges? How can this paid app not include one of the most basic features of the site? Pathetic.

It seems some quizzes are available on the iPhone app but not on the Android app. And they have the nerve to charge you for this shit.

Too many glitches. Otherwise good.

It takes me three goes to start the app usually and it's slow and often crashes. For a paid app it's an absolute disgrace.

Crashes every other time I open it. It works just fine the other times.

Love the expanded selection of games in the app!

If you take it for what it is, it's ok... just ok. If you compare it to the website then there's problems. The app is a lesser version of the website that you have to pay for whereas the site is free.
