GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES for Android
This is an excellent game, I play it regularly on fightcade when I'm on my PC so I decided to pick up the mobile version, and that was an excellent choice. While the controls aren't the easiest to figure out while your on mobile, the to "special" sticks make it easy for those who aren't used to making qc's on a touchscreen. You eventually get the hang of it and it's Wonderful.
Controls r not too hard, great port, should have more characters, anyway still loves it, keep bring in more fighting games, I want Art of Fighting 2, world heroes and more fatal fury plz. miss those games, nowadays game co.just dont make great fighting games anymore.
It's a bit difficult to play without a controller. But with it, then you start to enjoy this rare gem. The layout is simple enough, Two punch and kick buttons. (You can't preform a T.O.P attack without a controller, so heads up!) Other than that, it's pretty great.
On amazon, you can get an OTG micro usb adapter for about 5 bucks. Get this, and most usb controllers will have no problem automatically mapping the inputs. Graphics are a little pixelated, but that's nobody's fault since the game was not designed for this screen ratio. Touch controls are the same case - they're not great, but they're not really going to be great for any fighting game.
Works great with my Hori Fighting Commander with an OTG converter. I make virtually every move I try to input. With KOF 2012 not having controller input this is by default the best fighting game on Android.
How is it...when I make the difficulty higher, the control become sucks. Special moves won't come evem after I press the right move. Strangely enough, when the difficulty is the most lower, combination attack and special moves are easily executed.
Only gripe I have is the dual shock 4 doesn't work properly with the app as it doesn't detect some buttons, but the game works perfectly with an Xbox 360 controller and an otg cable.
Another great fighting game that you can play on your NVIDIA SHIELD TV. As with KOF '98, character shadows flicker a bit insanely, and it'd be nice if that could be toned down somehow in a future update. The Fullscreen option also leaves black borders around the image when the SHIELD TV is hooked up to a Samsung 4K 55" TV, though that is not as distracting. It would be nice if the image filled the entire screen though. Otherwise the game plays and performs very well. Menus like with KOF '98 could use a bit of a touch-up perhaps, putting them more in style with the game (too modern and lacks consistent style as-is). One annoyance when using a controller is how you got to press down to even see the first selected menu item, instead of it automatically highlighting the top item in the menu, like the game normally would if it weren't touch. Local device multiplayer on the SHIELD TV with its multi-controller support would make far more sense than having someone whip out their phone too, so such features would be highly appreciated! If not for these tiny blemishes, this would easily be a 5 star game. I highly recommend it for fighting game fans, for native play on your SHIELD device.
Got a gamepad with a ps2 like pad design.. SNK is beast.
Its fun and quick for a fighting game, just crashes if you press the start button on a gamepad instead of tapping the screen but outside of that it works
I have most of your fighting games. Would love it if u continue to add more to your library especially your KOF series.
It's a great port but if the super button was more reliable it would be perfect.
I really like the Japanese style of game's they make the best game's i love there vision of what's cool this game is Just awesome
Works great with bluetooth controller. One of the best fighting games up there with Third Strike.

Love it
I don't play fighting games so much on my phone, mostly due to controls. But I love Garou and liked that it came back for Android, so I bought it. It took me a lot of personalization on the button layout, and a lot of time spent on said personalized layout, but it's working very smoothly! It obviously will never be the true way to play but the game assists your directional inputs well and hold your own with careful movements. I do keep the difficulty away from the top, unless I use a controller.
Great game brought to Android, just wish SNK would bring over The Last Blade 1 & 2 also.

I've been getting into a few different fighting games and Garou is one that was recommended to me. I own the PC Humble Bundle release, and haven't had time to set it up. Seeing the game available on the Play store piqued my interest, and sure enough, it supports my MOGA Pocket with the third party universal driver. Now, while it isn't all that great for fighting games, all the folks at SNK and DotEmu did their job, and I had a lot of fun playing through story mode. Best fighter on Android right here!
