Meadow: A Forest Simulator

Meadow is a fully interactive forest simulator in which players take the place of the wind and the rain to help a small patch of woodland grow and flourish.

Players will watch as their flowers attract a wide variety of woodland creatures such as rabbits that wander by to munch on budding foliage, squirrels that love to steal away nuts and berries, and birds that carry new seeds for players to experiment with.

In real-life plants need the help of pollinating insects to reproduce and the same is true in Meadow. Players will be able to observe how bees and butterflies assist flowers with pollination and will need to keep the conditions just right to attract them or risk having plants that don't produce seeds!

Players can keep track of their current play-session with the help of two illustrated in-game field guides. These guides display pictures of all plants, seeds, and animals found in the game and will record how many of each the player has seen. The field guides also include interesting trivia about the plants and animals players can encounter. Did you know that a Loon's red eyes help it see underwater?

TIPS:
*Rabbits may eat plants but they can also help make room for new plants a player might want to try and grow.
*Animals that pickup seeds can help spread them around. Tap on a critter when they are standing over where you want the seed they are carrying to grow!
*Pollinators don't like it when it rains - experiment with how this can control what grows and what doesn't (remember, an unpollinated plant won't be able to drop seeds!)
*Different plants attract different kinds of animals. Maximize plant diversity to see as many different animals as possible.
*Some animals will only appear when the weather is just right!
