Troika: The Card Game

I've dreamed of finding a Trika app for years. Overall this is really well done. The AI is a bit more daring than I'm used to but it makes for some fun hands. My only suggestions are minor. 1. Option to disable dealer can under bid the higher bidder. 2. Don't close the app at the end of the game. Other than that it's a fantastic app! Thanks!

Computer partner doesn't play as team. Trumps winners when not necessary and won't lead winning trump. Also on no bid plays all heart winners yet hangs on to 5 and gives up the lead to lose 5. Apparently comp is no smarter after purchasing app.

I downloaded this on my Samsung and paid the $2 upgrade. The text on the screen is very small which is annoying. Every time someone wins the game crashes, so that's disappointing. I then put it on my ipad and it works much better.

Love this game! I grew up playing this game and now live in an area where nobody knows it. I was pleasantly surprised to find an app. Downside is that it freezes up a few hands in and kicks you out of the app. When you reopen, your game is gone and you can't continue!!! Probably a tactic to force you to buy it if you really like it as the creator says bugs are fixed in upgrading to purchased product...

AI is terrible and I have yet to finish a game. Downloaded it and played 5 games. It crashed after I hit 50 points on all 5 games. I even spent the money to get the "better" version

App crashes at the end of every game. Needs online multiplayer. And as other feedback States, computer players need major programming updates. 5 stars if issues are fixed

I bought the in-store app and absolutely nothing changed! Very sad about that. And when I tried to contact the seller I kept being redirected and couldn't contact anyone. Please help!

Paying for the upgrade means it now crashes everytime someone gets to 52 points. Also the AI partner often bids no trump then leads with the 5, so frustrating.

It's similar to Kaiser, so you can practise up. Game crashes when the screen times out and sometimes for no reason at all. Still enjoy playing it though!

The game doesn't keep score. The bids are hard to see. I have an android phone. It plays way better with an iPhone. Very disappointing....!!!

Not updated since 2014.. What gives, plus game crashes after a full round of play and high scores are not recorded. Android 6.0.1

I like everything about this app except for one thing. The occasional massive AI blunders that make me want to throw my phone at the wall. Like just now my partner went 7no having every heart except the Queen. I had passed him the 10 and 5. He leads the hand with the 5.... I understand AI not being perfect but these situations happen too frequently.

This game would be way better playing others rather than computer. I enjoy playing but like others the aop crashes as soon as someone crosses 50. Other than that its great.

Doesn't work since update of S4 t lollipop, will randomly crash.

Kouldn't and I shouldn't ever remove. Fix upgrade problem and it would be 5.

This game is horrible, even with the upgrade your team mates make bone head plays. The opposition does not follow suit and at times it does not add to your score. I give this a negative ten!

Good representation of the game of Kaiser but frequently crashes when playing with card swapping on, locks up if the phone goes to sleep or is turned off in the middle of a game. Edit - bumped it up a star, the issues I mentioned are fixed and the game runs well but is too resource heavy. It used 15% of my battery today, which is about 2% me playing and 13% the game idling in my pocket.

The interface is great and online play would make this a 5/5. As it stands the AI makes dumb plays that are quite frustrating, such as playing the three on a losing trick or leading with the five at very inopportune times. It needs to "think" more. If I lead hearts and it doesn't have any, it will blow the ace of trump, even though if the fourth guy plays the five, any trump would have been enough. Also, it will trump my ace.

I just wish you would make it a online game so we could play with other people

This game would be pretty much perfect if this game could be played over multiple phones. My friends have iphones and such and it would be awesome to play each other over our devices. I would even buy the full version if this were implemented. Great design though!

You get three stars because i love kaiser but hate my partner so much like make him smarter!!!!! I even paid the 2 bucks thinking it would help but no lets trump the tricks i already won and lets waste the ace of hearts trump on a spade play and take the minus three!!!!!! And also if i bid 7 no HE WILL BID 8 LIKE WTF

Love playing this game, even if the AI is not the greatest. The game crashes immediately at the end of every game. I'm not sure why this happens. (Nexus 5 on Lollipop 5.0.1)

Great game love having it. But the IA needs work. 1. My partner always passes the 3 or the 5 to me. 2. My partner NEVER bids. 3. If I lead with a Q of hearts knowing it's the highest heart and knowing because I passed him the 5 my partner still puts a different heart on the trick. Fix these things and it would be way better.

I love this game as I have no one to play Kaiser around here in Toronto. It worked great with stats on my Samsung Galaxy S3, but it crashes at the end of the game (win/lose) on the new S6. Something to do with the Lolipop software?

The game is fun. But it continues to stop everytime one side wins. I paid for the upgrade.

Thought the upgrade to the new parter would be worth the 2 dollars but it is just as bad as the other one! And also game force closes after every game and says it has stopped working.

AI is horrible and makes really bad plays. Also had a Kaiser hand on a force bid and couldn't bid accordingly

Game plays smooth and graphics are great but....partner is crap. I have played this game for years and never came up with the plays I see here. Who leads the 5 first round on a no hand.

Partner bids 8 in Hearts with no 5 no A. Next round trumps my trick then leads garbage. Next round trumps first spade trick. Next round "They" bid Hearts, first trick is diamonds, partner trumps with 9 of Hearts, but later he gets the 5 sucked out of him. I thought I could just use this app to practice counting cards but you can't because the AI is so bad that nothing is predictable.

Good game, lots of fun. From Saskatchewan I was surprised to find this. My only issue is that it crashes whenever i win. Hopefully it gets upgraded and fixed.

My partner sucks! Who bids 7,8 or 9 no and leads out with a 5 hearts. Or plays out all the lead hearts to keep the 5 and lose it in the end.?? Nobody in real life would play as crappy as my computer partner!! Lucky i rated 3 stars.

AI is just OK. . To often leads the 5 for no reason.. since updating my gs5 to lolipop I can't play anymore. Has random game ending crashes. So for now this game gets one star..

Well don't upgrade his app unless you want to spend money on nothing. This app will not automatically upgrade from the apps own upgrade menu but a payment will be accepted. I was looking forward to passing the cards.

Growing up in Sask we spent many cold afternoons inside and nights with friends playing kaiser. I can tell you the AI even in the upgraded version is nowhere near good enough.. good game but extremely frustrating if your more competitive player. AI seems to default to calling hearts trump and will often lead blindly with the 5. I realize this is an app and I'm probably being overly critical.. the game is good and the AI could definitely be alot worse. I still play this game alot and use it to teach others
