CityCaching is een moderne en originele manier om een stad of gemeente te ontdekken.

Het is als het ware een leuke en speelse zoektocht waarbij je via achtereenvolgende diverse opdrachten op je smartphone genavigeerd wordt naar meerdere interessante en leuke locaties.
Over deze aantrekkelijke plaatsen en bezienswaardigheden kan er bijkomende informatie verkregen worden door middel van foto’s, audio-, en videofragmenten. Je persoonlijke gids in zakformaat.

Alle tochten worden vooraf uitgebreid omschreven en verduidelijkt aan de hand van enkele foto's wat de keuze zal vergemakkelijken.
Na het downloaden van de CityCaching app, en een specifieke wandel- of fietstocht zal de gebruiker op een attractieve manier de stad of gemeente ontdekken.

Op het einde van de tocht krijg je als kers op de taart nog een drankje GRATIS aangeboden in één van de horecazaken van de deelnemende stad/gemeente.

De app, alsook de tocht, kan thuis op je mobiel toestel gedownload worden of via het gratis beschikbare Wifi access point ter hoogte van de plaatselijke toeristische dienst.
Tochten aankopen kan via een in-app aankoop op je smartphone of je kan een voucher aanschaffen in het infokantoor.
