About Frontline: The Longest Day
June 6th, 1944. D-Day is the Allied operation that launched the successful liberation of German-occupied Western Europe during World War II.
In Frontline: The Longest Day, players command the Allied forces through some of the most famous battles of the war, freeing Europe from the hands of the German Army. The game takes place over five massive, engaging and challenging missions, all inspired by historical missions which took place during operation Overlord: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Cherbourg, Sword & Juno.
Players are faced with tough decisions and will have to think through the options to take advantage of terrain, use their combat techniques wisely and make sure they leverage the special ability of each unit to overcome the enemy and get Europe back in safe hands.

- Land, and aerial combat: all units have strengths and weaknesses encouraging different uses, adding an extra strategic layer to the game. There are over 80 of them!
- Units will upgrade throughout the game, based on combat success and experience. This will prove to be an extremely powerful tool to progress in the game providing the players with a personalized army depending on their style of play.
- Complex combat mechanics and special abilities for all units such as: Flanking manoeuvres, encirclements, suppression, combat fatigue, penetration, deflection, removing landmines, artillery support, airstrikes, transport, sandbags, march, APCR ammunition, incendiary grenades, smoke grenades, artillery barrages, reinforce & resupply.
- Maps are created to reflect the real terrain and their dramatic impact on the historical situation.

I went ahead and took a chance on the game. It is way buggy but I can see what the game is aspiring to be, and that part is wonderful. For me it is unplayable in its current state. Hopefully the devs will polish it up and start getting some 5 star ratings.

Great game but find the fog of war is not removing in some places so I can't continue on and some axis units become invincible mines keep appearing after saving and some axis units I can't fire at so become invincible can you fix please

Please fix the turn button. It seems that the target is way too big and I'm constantly ending my turn when moving or zooming. Ruins the game for me.

Needs fixing. Can,t save and exit. Locks up. But still great to play if you went to west point or you name is Ike, Goggle needs to pull these game developers that right games but do not up date them when there are reported problems. If you buy a game it should work.

Right now this game has lots of software anomalies. Can't save. Unit movement order is buggy. Slitherine will get it right but I can't recommend it till it gets fixed. Looks awesome. I love the game genre.

Fun but glitchy. A finger anywhere near the bottom right corner of the screen ends the turn as does some finger slides. Minefields reappear if you leave the game for dinner. I expected better despite the low price.

This game has great potential. If it had no bugs it would get 5 stars easy. On level 2 I cannot win the mission as you cannot do damage to 1 base. If you surround it and make it surrender you cannot occupy it. After saving the re-entering all cleared mines become uncleared. Frustrating to play!!!!

This has so much potential but it has almost too many bugs to play. Buttons don't work half the time, reinforcements don't work after second level although you resources are deducted as though they did. Not enough options. After the Medival game I had high expectations- and I see a good format. But you guys really should've put out a finished product instead of this cluster f**k.

This game is a like a cross between Panzer General on the PC and the board game memoir 44, so hard to go wrong for me ! :-) It is a very recent release so has a few minor bugs, but still a very solid title ! Nice job.

Has some little issues, but defiantly something to build on. The text was a little small, especially the icons on the bottom left, need to enlarge them. Also, after purchasing slitherine's remake of panzer general, and being highly satisfied with its multiplayer online and hotseat modes, I was kinda expecting that here, I'll purchase as soon as you update to enable online challenges.

Can't give this anything better than a 1 star rating as currently presented. 2 major reasons: 1l) No help menu or documentation to be found. 2) In game flyouts obscure map area needed to direct units. This renders the game unplayable unless there is a way to turn off the flyouts. That info might be in a help menu or in the documentation if it either were available.

I tapped campaign but the game wouldn't start
