Terrible port. Very buggy, clunky interface. Fails to load consistently.

The area for the keyboard is an ok size, however the image for the keyboard is too small. Makes it hard to see what you are actually pressing. Galaxy s7

SLASH'EM is my favorite nethack variant, and this port is easy to use and streamlined. I have, however, run into an issue or bug causing a crash, requiring a reinstall

Update it so it works like someone elses nethack ui wise

On start up it asks who I am and there is an invisible keyboard with only j, n, and b on it.

Almost impossible to use on a nook simple touch. Maybe add a display and control options interface to assign zoom keys and color font.

Fun, good old game.

Evil...now I YASD everywhere I go. Need inst to SD. import/export config, or @ for autopickup, context actions off in prefs kicked door in town :(.

Sadly horrible to control on keyboardless phone, platform needs more roguelikes. Htc legend

Lots lof fun but on the droid when i hit alt to use symbol keys it thinks i'm still hitting the letter key plz fix so i can go down stairs

awesome port. key bindings and config export/import in preferences very helpful. if you've never heard of nethack look up the game and controls first.

I love Nethack and this is a pretty nice port. Even finally found the no-autopickup option, but I think it should be on by default.

Can u add 'move to SDcard' pls?

No attempt has been made to make the game more playable on a touchscreen, so it is essentially unplayable for me. You might have a different experience with a physical keyboard.

I'm having a hard time playing because of the move commands are confusing to me. Could you make an option like in Gurr's Nethack to have touchscreen support to move and do things with?

Awesome seeing the slash'em variant available for android. There's so few TRUE roguelikes available for mobile devices. I'd give five stars if the playability and interface was improved upon just a little. So far, so good though.

I love nethack to death! This variant makes an amazing game even more amazing, and if you enjoy nethack, this is worth checking out. Love it!

I love Nethack and its variants, been playing for over 10 years. This is a good port, but the interface and control is very poor in comparison to the Nethack port by gurr. Simple pinch zooming would make this interface competitive at least. If you're happy downgrading to vanilla Nethack I would highly recommend the gurr version over this.

The added races & classes make it interesting....untell you leave the game for any reason. Then the only way to restore is to uninstall & reinstall & start all over from scratch! I'm UNinstalling untell this serious glitch is fixed. To bad....

When I was buying my Android phone, I got one with a physical slide-out keyboard for the express purpose of playing Slash'EM. It was a great decision. There's no way I can give money to the developer, is there? There's no donation method I can see.

I remember playing rogue on my aunts 386 in the early 90's. I was thrilled to find this on pc later in life and even more happy to have it on my phone. Great game, great port (really need a hard keyboard tho), keeps u on your toes with every turn.

Best rogue-like on the Android market right now. After you get the hang of the controls its the deepest rogue-like on Android yet.

This is better than I could have hoped -- obviously the labor of a devotee. I recommend playing with sticky keys, IBM tty graphics, and IBM color.

Though I wish the virtual keyboard was modified to ease gameplay by grouping the most common keys. That's why I only gave it four stars.

Great port... but it keeps crashing when I die. Last time I died it crashed and is crashing on startup now. I can't play till an update fixes this. I will be sending a crash report.

Great game. Surprisingly a lot you can do. You may bash your face into your phone in frustration though. Hard game to survive.

How do you activate wizard mode?

Good work! If you are looking for another good roguelike try dweller. Its in beta and shows a lot of promise.
