Cat Playground - Game for cats for Android
They love it!
Two Paws Up! I wouldn't let Mommy play with her nice Nexus tablet. I clawed and ate at the case, too. And I erased apps off the home screen, and caused other mischief in my excitement, too. So Mom bought me a cheap tablet of my own and got me my own Google account, so I couldn't mess with her Play Store apps anymore. I knocked that tablet off the bed so many times it broke. So Mom just bought me a new $39 RCA from Wally World! And Cat Playground is still around! Am I a lucky kitty or what? MEOW! Now if the lovely developers would make it so I can't hit the back, home, and recent icons......
My cats have loved this game for YEARS!!! they can not get enough of the fish!! Lol
Thank you. My 10 month old kitten Sparta loves this game. All I have to do is turn it on and the second she hears the music she comes running. Watching her reach behind the tablet to try to cheat and get the mouse is too funny. My 2 year old cat Tinkerbell isn't fooled and loses interest in the games quickly.
Please remove the vibration when she taps the laser pointer :D. It scares her a bit hehe
I'd keep the sound off but my cat loves this, especially the mouse.
My cat loves this game so much and she swats it until she can play it :D
He plays with it all the time.
Gizmo loves this game!!!!!!!
When my cats are in a playful mood they love it. I found kittens enjoy the games even more. The home screen graphics could be updated but otherwise the simple graphics work well with cats.
Our kitty loves this app! The mouse chase is his favorite.
Please remove the vibration when she taps the laser pointer :D. It scares her a bit hehe
All my cats like it and some people... Lol
He plays with it all the time.
I bought this for my cats, but ended up being more amused by watching them play with it than they are playing!
I originally purchased on my phone and the cats didn't really care but they are obsessed with the game on the tablet! They hear the music and come running! Both cats play with toys not hands. My Ralphy recently pawed at my phone and tablet hoping to turn them on so he could play! Fragile Ralphy! Fragile! He thinks they're his!
My cats are both now 7 months old. The female has no interest, but the male cat ears pick up as soon as he hears the music. He loved it, especially the fish in a tank game, I also like that one best as the running water sound effect is actually very relaxing when on in the background.
He plays with it all the time.
My cat loves this game so much and she swats it until she can play it :D
Now you have to hit the two cats to go back and that doesn't work! I want to be able to go back to the menu!
I was slightly sceptical but actually found that even my laziest cat enjoyed watching the mouse, he didn't move much apart from his eyes but even that is good for him :D
A few tips: Do not let the cat attempt to eat or scratch your device without the device having a glass protector and case to protect it... Having a couple of elderly cats that love sitting on my keyboard, this was a great test to give them something to do while I work from home. My attack cat loved the mouse game, tried to get under the tablet and eat the mouse several times. However he can close the app easily or change screens then send blank emails or reply to emails and txts... He liked the whack a mouse game too but the contrast on the screen seemed off to me the killer cat did try to dig under the tablet screen and case to get to the mice. My laser pointer cat didn't catch onto the laser game but the non laser pointer cat did watch for a bit. The fish level got a couple of swipes and bites on the screen (he's caught actual fish in a tank that way) but then a shrug and no more action. The toy game also got a few whacks but then not much interest after a full pounce and bite on the screen. The Nexus 7 tablet on the floor now but neither cat is bored enough to watch it yet. Does need a trial version though or make it 99 cents.
My cats really seem to enjoy this game. However, even though you have to hit the back button twice to get out, the menu button works normally. My kitten has mastered closing this game.
It held my cat's attention but they didn't get too excited, seemed the laser was too slow, but if it had gone faster she may have gotten too rough w/ it anyway. I like it! It interests them.
...the software buttons on my Nexus 7 needs to inactivated. When the cat hits the home button the fun ends. I've tried to tell her to stop hitting it, but in vain.
I tried this and my kitten was interested, but his presses didn't register. Tried myself, mine didn't register either most of the time! Needs a trial version, e.g. limited to 2 minutes a game.
My cats love this! Makes me smile watching them play.
My cats love this app! One of them loves watching the fish while the other has become an expert as the treat game. Highly recommend for all spoiled cats.
my kittens sort of got it although the more complicated the screen(whack) the less they got it. apparently cats cant see too much detail, more movement. so the laser, fish, treats and mouse are better because of the simplicity.....more screens like that would be much better and made it a five
She tries to bite my phone loves the laser wonders why it's not on the other side of the phone :-)
Muy bueno
Especially mouse..
I was really excited about this app but my cats were not interested at all.
Cute to watch, cell phone is not recommended, use with tablet
Suggestion: make the mouse or fish stay under the border longer. My cat's much more intrigued when I cover half the tablet with a newspaper, hiding the mouse for several seconds until it reappears again.
Note 4: The other games were ok for my cats, the laser game also did better than the others. I'm sure other cats might enjoy the other games, not all cats are the same. No adds, worth the money. Exited once in about 10-15 mins of play, was the multiple apps/menu button on NOTE 4. No permissions needed is a plus too.
Kitten loves it, really loved the mouse. So much so that every time she sees my phone she states at it and sniffs, and bats at it, probably hoping the mouse will show up. UPDATE Screen mirroring to my Sony Bravia TV, my cat went bezerk! hilarious!
I bought this for Kari, our 15 year old Burmese. She's not into playing much these days, and she's very deaf but the Mouse game really got her attention and she was looking under the tablet to try to get to it.
I had my doubts, but the reviews were good so I gave it a go....and we were not disappointed. The kittens LOVE it! Amazing
