Red 7 (Digital Red7 Card Game)

A crazy good game that the skilled player will win at, even with a bad hand, but it's easy enough to teach newbies, too.

I absolutely LOVE this game! The mechanic is so simple, but there's so much complexity and strategy and available. Unfortunately, while this implementation has SO MUCH potential, there are a few major drawbacks... The mechanism for creating games with friends appears flawed; you have to send a text message, but it's not very intuitive, and doesn't always work. The game doesn't always update live while you're playing online, you have to leave the game and come back in, but it doesn't give you any alerts that it's your turn again. And finally, there have been quite a few times with the advanced rules where i was able to draw a card, but then when i left the game and came back in (to get it to update), somehow my card i just drew was gone and my opponent had it - but they seem to have gotten the card from my hand, not my palette.

I love it

Installed last night, worked perfectly. Now won't load and just hangs on white screen. Had to reinstall. Then, when playing with 3* opponents mode, AI crashes and just freezes thinking. To cap it off, the canvas card is not shown in the interface so how can you tell if the card you lay to the canvas is higher or not during the 'advanced' rules. This could be so good but alas these issues make it unplayable.

Red7 is one of my favourite small games and this is a visually very well designed and mostly very smooth implementation of it. My only complaint is that (on my Sony Xperia) starting the app immediately pauses any audio that I'm listening to.

The AI hangs frequently when playing Advanced, and Expert rules with Scoring and three AI players. Please allow a setting to skip the scrolling score at the end of each hand. The app still eats my batteries, and overheats my Samsung S5, but works much better on my tablet.

I don't really care for card games to be honest but I did enjoy playing this game. It's different.

Multiplayer doesn't update

Very simple and fun game. FYI the advanced rules page has a contradiction, the description for playing a 1 on the right hand side says the exact opposite of the description on the left hand side!

Terrible says change pallet to blue but won't let me do it, also trying to move cards to play is really painful as you have to repeat move several times as won't recognise swipe motion!

What a dull game
