About Simaula
Simaula is a gamified simulation that focuses on developing teaching and delivery skills for Inquiry-Based Learning.
The SGI has developed Simaula as part of the European Project; Inspiring Science Education.
Simaula resembles a virtual classroom for teachers who want to learn how to teach science topics using inquiry learning. Inquiry-based learning is an approach that focuses on asking questions as the starting process for learning.
IBL (Inquiry Based Learning) sets the students as the focal elements of the learning process where in collaboration with the teacher they design and conduct experiments, collaborate and actively engage in activities in the classroom and beyond.
Simaula builds on the inquiry-based model developed by the SGI to offer a fun and engaging simulation for the teacher who wants to know how to design inquiry activities for science learning and teaching in schools.
