About FreeCell Solitaire
The first computer version of the game is believed to have been created in 1978 for the PLATO system. One of the Microsoft developers noticed this version and implemented a version for Windows. It was first included with Win32s as an application that enabled the testing of the 32-bit thunking layer (does anyone remember what that was?). FreeCell remained relatively obscure until it was released as part of Windows 95.
Since then the game has been ported to numerous platforms. So why should you give our version a try? We largely tried to recreate a full experience of the game in a tiny package, including power moves, hints and undo (top right corner of the title bar). But there are also some minor twists to make it easier to play on a small factor mobile devices. In particular you don't have to select a card to move - drag and drop entire column - only appropriate cards will move, the rest will snap back. The cards will be moved to foundation automatically when possible. The scoring is also changed - only number of moves counted - the lower the score - the better.
Only the top (exposed) card of each tableau pile is available for play. It may be moved to a foundation pile, a free cell, or to another tableau pile. Within the tableau, cards are built down in sequence and alternating in color. Any card may be moved into an empty space. Blocks of cards may not be moved, unless the requisite number of free cells and/or tableau spaces are available to allow each individual card to be moved. To move part of partial pile, drag whole pile - the game will self adjust. If you fill all four foundation piles, you win.
If you don't see any more moves try hints, undo (top right corner) to back track, or menu to start new game.

Adequate freecell. If you try to move a single card on a series, it will not prompt you, "move column or single". Also ads get in way of game play. Finally, on some games the card sequences were lumped together, thus not really random in nature.

Loved playing this game, nice and simple and addictive! Opened it this morning and the graphics have changed - they are dreadful! No borders to the cards so they merge into each other and they fill the screen too much. Please put them back to how they were or I will be looking for another version.---------- NOW BACK TO NORMAL. WELL DONE GUYS FOR LISTENING TO US ALL AND ACTING ON IT

Not apparently intending to fix it so... goodbye. I'll try one with admin that give a damn. I'm happy to see the old graphics again, however having 8 free cells to work with is just weird and not as much help as you'd think. Since the latest update the four cells where aces should go can be used like any of the normal free cells. For any card at any time provided it's empty. So basically there's now 8 instead of 4 spaces to move.

If it is not reversed to the old design or a choice of design is given (which includes the old design), I will not only keep this one star rating I will delete this app from my devices… not that you really care. Starting my search for a better Freecell app.

The only reason I played this version was because of the way the cards looked. No reason now to play this one over all the others anymore.

New graphics on cards are extremely difficult to tell what the card is. Have to find a different version now :-( This was one of my favorites. Wish they hadn't changed graphics.

I upgraded to a LG G4 from my G2. App doesn't seem to like this phone. Trying to drag cards or get any touch recognition is very difficult. G2 had been updated to Lollipop, so OS is not likely the issue. No options to change difficulty, no way to add name to high scores list, always on easy mode, cards end up off bottom of screen on long stacks, ads end up blocking the bottom of some stacks. The ads were placed in an area that should have been out of the way, but it didn't work out that way.

Played this game for many years, it updated and stopped working. I reinstalled the game, saw the new graphic and I promptly uninstalled it! How sad, I had it for years...!
