Dungeon Ascendance - Free for Android
I like that it's not unlimited dungeon levels. I want to complete something. I Don't get these "beat your friends/beat your own score" games, some are OK but get old FAST. I want a specified challenge set before me. But since I'm no dungeon fanatic, I may not buy the ultra hard (according to reviewers) Full Game. I'm not sure yet cause there's no difficulty setting. If u want people to play hard mode, withhold some achievements that can only be won in hard mode? I dunno, I'm not the expert here lol.
,drawing style and colors are eye poppers - instant killer....
Poor gameplay controls are decent and fairly responsive but game itself lacks real replay value ...not really fun or amusing.. go with legends of yore or cardinal quest if looking for decent rogue like
Graphics are kinda bad,and seems to be very small for now, but it introduced some nice features (like holding touch for info and not attacking right away). Overall has a lot of potential, Ill have an eye on it!
Graphics could use updating. Would make it worth $3, along with more content. Individual levels are bigger than Dungelot 1's but there's only a dozen levels—whereas Dungelot has endless generated levels. This free app is rather pushy with getting the full version too. And who reserves achievements to the paid version!? In which case, why is a screenshot of it showcased with this app? If they overhaul the graphics and add more levels, I'd pay $3 for it.
Game is not fun. Too hard to get past low levels. Loses any interest after 2 or 3 games. I want my money back. Do not buy game. Worst game in years...

Rogue like. On a phone. Done well.
Good mechanics, nice presentation and a great feeling of accomplishment.
Really fun, runs great on my Samsung 10.1 tab.
An ok Android clone of Desktop Dungeons. Despite pretty good sprites the usage of native Android GUI gives it a low budget feel.
Doesnt force close anymore, ty. Fun game. :)
Everything it is advertised to be.

I like playing this game because it is really fun and when I'm awake my sister take my phone from me
Awesome dungeon crawler
Its good at what it does which is to make you want to buy the full game great demo
Great time waster.
I. Love You
Kul
This is what I've been waiting for... a turn-based 2D mini-adventure without all the graphics overkill. Lots of maps and plenty of character choices (once unlocked). Unique and FUN!
A bit dull
This seems like a good time waster
Pretty good but I think it should be a whole multilevel dungeon. Lvls are annoying
Well, overall I was impressed. It was a lot like Avernum, for anyone who is aware of that game. Though, I had a short moment of nostalgic glee, I expected much more. They do give you a lot of variety if you buy the app; it's just not worth it. For those of you who are curious, this is a short mini dungeon game, but it's like a chess match. If you collect usables early on and waste them it's all the more hard to be the boss. I believe I was let down by my own expectations, but this was a let down.
There are many better rogue like games out there don't bother with this one. No replay value at all. I really wanted to like this game but just couldn't.
There are better games similar to this one like Dweller. Its not about the graphics, the interface is just not good making it a little awkard to play.
Great quick and easy dungeon game.
good game:>

I'm from the 80's and this SUUUCCCKKKSSS!!!!
Had a lot of fun playing it
Not worth buying.
Reminds me of "Back in the day"... in a good way! Gonna buy the full game.
Nothing wrong w.this little crawler. Kinda generic but it doesn't lag or seize, specially on old phones or roaming. If DnD was ur thing (min/max, crawls, 8-bit theater graphics) then give it a run. Very forgiving overall. Thanx.
but not really convienced to buy the full ver.
Meh...
I can't really fault this one - it is what it says it is! A little puzzley, very roguelike - you might love it!
Frustrating. But not terrible, just not what i was looking for.

Looks and plays well but still hasn't reached the sweet spot of other coffee-break roguelikes like Desktop Dungeons. The maps are too big for mobile screens, exploring and combat feel too predictable sometimes and the free options feel limited- offering just a single great free dungeon would go a great length to improve that, and fans would be free to then acquire the complete package.
