Virtua Tennis Challenge

Despite the reviews complaining about the ads in gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. The ads are not intrusive and to get such a good game for free at the cost of sitting through a few ads is fine with me. If you love tennis this is a must have. If you just like good games but aren't a tennis fan still try it.

Worst experience..i had purchased this game earlier & now you have are asking for more to remove add. This is literally pathetic. After everything game points i m getting 15 seconds add which is seriously annoying. I am going to uninstall this game now & this is best way to handle game like this.

Never seen so many ads in a game, ever! I know it went from a paid to free model, but this is ridiculous. Ad before starting a game. Ad after a game, ad after a set, ad during change overs. Basically, ads every time the screen changes. I'm pretty sure there was an ad after a replay as well. Can't confirm the last one, but everything was so stop-start. 1 star was for nostalgia. Oh, and one of the features = offline play. I had no internet connection at one point and wanted to resume game...error "please connect to the internet to continue playing"... Really?

The game crashes on my Android TV as soon as I'm entering a match. It tells me I need to connect to the internet even though I am using Ethernet. Controller support needs to be added to all the menus in all the Sega Forever games as well as support to be displayed on the Leanback launcher with a banner.

Crashes too often. When it does work fine, it's good, not great. Controls could be a bit better. I can't see any variation among players or courts, so that's kinda disappointing. Right now, the biggest issue is that I can't finish 75% of the matched because the game crashes. Edit: now on startup it says that it needs to download additional data, which is stupid because it already did on installation. It then stops the download because "you may not have purchased this app".

Finally another sega forever game that works properly with Bluetooth controllers. The only other one before this being sonic. Without Bluetooth controllers the other games are rubbish as the on screen controls are awful. The ads are a bit excessive but it's free so if you don't like the ads just pay or don't play. They have to make money off it somehow. Overall liking the tennis action keep up the good work and get proper Bluetooth controller support sorted on the other sega forever games. Have changed my score to 1 star as progress will not save will change rating when problem fixed.

Game was great at first got rank 14 then it started to crash on opening like other sega games! But unlike sonic which saves to cloud I uninstalled this and reinstalled it and lost all of my progress and had to start again! I started again and guess what it's started crashing again and returning me to my home screen! What is going on! Glad I never paid for the ad free version! I won't be starting again I'll just uninstall it! Fantastic game apart from the issues which I wouldn't expect from SEGA

Wow. This is so much more fun and complex than I thought it would be, and the adds aren't half as bad as people are saying. I'm totally going to recommend this game to the rest of my Tennis team. Thank you Sega.

Finally a update. And I love the update. Still waiting to test this out on Bluetooth multiplayer. But finally an update. I can't express my happiness right now. So writing a mail directly to developers did help eventually I will believe. Thanks Sega.

I do love this game, but the constant crashing and booting me to my home screen upon starting a match is getting a bit tedious now. It definitely needs a fix for what is otherwise a pretty good game.

Game is awesome for those who love tennis , ad doesn't that matter but one thing i just want to say to u guys pls add real players or commentary to make it more realistic tennis game for mobile ever :) thanx ads are getting bigger now :( on the begining it was fine but now from two days ots getting irritated cuz just after every set drs an ad of 15 seconds :(

Too much ads, even if it free it's still too much.....there every where. I mean there's no fun whatsoever playing it online. Poor choice people, poor choice.

What's the purpose of purchasing the game and then you have to pay again to remove the ads. This is now the WORST TENNIS GAME EVER!

Made it free to play after I purchased it. When trying to restore purchase it go's to Google play Store and when I open it. Got the message that connect to internet when it is already connected

Screwing over people who already bought Sega Games. I have bought nearly all the games that are now add supported when they were out originally (this one back in 2012), now with the new add supported versions, every single one of them has been broken at launch with regards to restoring purchases. Crazy Taxi even needs to have the old version installed to be add free. Restoring purchases with this game is also broken as it just opens the game page on the play store and doesn't even restore purchases. I'm not sure who you pay to test these prior to release but they don't seem to test the restore purchases on any of the releases so far, Sonic was broken, Crazy Taxi was broken and now this is broken. Support is also dire, one week for a reply and it was a generic one with no fix for the issue. inexcusable given the size of Sega as a company. You know why this is broken as its a different version of the game on the app store, the original was jp.co.sega.vtc and this one is com.sega.vtc its the same problem as last time with crazy taxi and sonic, restore purchases doesn't work properly as its a different game. I pointed this out twice now to your support.

Game crashes often meaning I can't finish most matches. Controls take s but if getting used to, dpad instead of touch might help.

Crashes almost every time there's a replay, which is often. No way to turn off replays in the settings though.

Crashed too often. I cannot finish match play and do not have save game while I'm plaing in match.

Crashes after every 5-10 minutes.. even in betweem of the match sometimes and it crashes..had to play the whole match again and again

The game is wonderful but the control's I really hate. The game isn't hard but without a controller function it's makes the game very difficult

There's a few bugs in the system where it won't always connect for multiplayer mode via Bluetooth and also there's a few glitches that show when serving as the screen goes a little wonky.

1 star for the random times when the game force closes. Just happened after a 21 minutes game while on match point.

Works great with Xiaomi Gamepad on my Android phone. Graphics and performance all ok, but sometimes game force close in the middle of the game. Probably need to do some debugging. Will wait for update.

Yeah, it have a looot of ads, but you won't find any other tennis game good as this is :)

This is a great way to start off the ads is not as bad as people make it to be I'm impressed with controls and above . I'm looking next to sports game from you sega keep the good work.
