Love how people come on here just compain without understanding things or how it works. First off it's 2017. If your not using an adblocker or hell even a firewall then you deserve every ad out there. Or just pay for the game! As far as accessing your media, it's not to get to your photos. It's so you can play your own music while playing the game. So you can either listen to the old school original tracks or use your own music while playing. Be thankful for having that ability, most games don't. All because it says access to your photos, doesn't mean that. It's your media. So relax people and read the descriptions and brush up on your Android permissions.

Massive audio problems on the moto z play. Having any sounds enabled causes the game to lag out when they are played. Same goes for the music. And overall the audio has ridiculous amounts of crackle to it. It almost feels like the game is just being emulated. With sounds off at least the game runs smooth for the majority of the time, with a few location based exceptions.

Why the hell should i pay to remove ads when i already own the old paid version? why not update that version rather than forcing people to download a new version for updates and pay again to remove the annoying ads and only other version in my apps is the old paid version

Love the classic game. The ads are so over the top intrusive that it freezes the game, forcing you to restart and sit thru the f-ing ads all over again. Get you game together Sega. We want these games. We don't want this BS. Bring back Jet Grind Radio too.

Love this game....would love it more if there wasn't any adds, I've tried re downloading from my apps but keep getting the same version with ads. Once this is sorted easy 5 stars...until that ads make it almost unplayable

Great port. Only problem is that the audio balance seems to be off. The music drowns out everything else. Even at the highest SE volume setting of "2". Ads are annoying, but it's F2P, so I can deal with it.

Great port of the game. My phone isn't really powerful and runs it full speed without an issue. The ads are non intrusive and easy to skip. The touchscreen controls work ok, although completely different from the original game. Kudos to Sega for making it free to play!

This game requires access to your photos, media and files on my phone? So you just want access to everything I've ever saved. Why is that exactly? You are a game! I'm not opening my entire phone to that vulnerability. 1 star for major security issues.

It feel better now then last time i play this like the control where awful but glad they fix that issues becuz i love crazy taxi and another thing why put ads in this and make it $4 like foreal? I rather pay $1 or 2 to get rid of it cuz 4 seem like alot to be honest

The game is fine, the controls are bad. But what's worse is the amount of ads they play. It's unplayable, especially in the crazy box mode.

THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK IS BACK! Thanks Sega, I've bought many ports of this game and it feels great to hear the classic tracks again. Just gotta get KFC and Tower Records back on board lol

Please add analog steering when using a controller that supports it. The digital steering is so twitchy with my controller it's almost unplayable. A pretty good port of the game otherwise.

Had to go through 4 ads to play a game. Unbelievable that you would do this SEGA. Ruining a great game I paid for with ads. Take them out. Talk about ripping your customers off.

Ads were so invasive that I chose to uninstall. If Sega believe this is a rational free to play model, they are mistaken.

Meanwhile, the ones who already payed are stuck with the old version that crashes constantly on Android 7.1.2 on my Nexus 5X (the ad supported one works)... Waiting for the update for the old version...

TL;DR: Ridiculous ads ruin an otherwise great game. One of my favorite games from childhood is back, and they did a great job on it. The controls are easy to pick up, and it feels just the same. Not to mention the original soundtrack is back! So why only two stars? The ads are just ridiculous. Every time you start a round, you get hit with an ad. Play for a ten minute arcade round? Let's start with an ad. Fine, whatever. Decide to retry a crazy box trial after 5 seconds because you screwed up the start? Better get ready to watch the same 30 second ad you just watched all over again! Just to be clear, that's 60+ seconds of ad time for 5 seconds of play. At a certain point it just gets to be to much. I was planning on just paying the $2 because I enjoyed the original, but wanted to try it out on mobile first. Now I struggle with rewarding a company for ruining a perfectly good experience. I get that free games will have ads, but there's a better way to do it than this. Even if there was just a that so that you actually get a few minutes of gameplay before seeing another ad would be fine. But the ads just ruin what would have been a great remake.

Screw you guys for taking something I loved as a kid and ruining it by trying to get into my photos and stuff for no reason. Opened it, got that message, then immediately uninstalled.

Holy ads batman!I know it is free version and I expect ads, but not a full 30 second one after every single time you play. Which half the time is less than thirty seconds. I watched more ads than I played.

Always online DRM means you can only play this near wifi or if you have data. Without it, the game crashes after a few seconds of driving. I payed for the ad free version, why am i being treated like a pirate?

I should not have to deal with an add version of the game when I've already purchased the older game but you have not updated that game since 2015 and I can't get past the title screen on my S7! When is the older version going to get updated since I've already purchased it and I shouldn't have to repurchase the game again?!?!

Game and music suffer from constant stuttering/slowdown on Droid Turbo 2. The old ad-free version hasn't been playable at all for a while now.

When you first launch the game a 25 sec ad pops up each time and blocks the screen that shows the controls. Once the ad is over the controls screen goes away. They need to fix this

I love the game, but for some reason the game is freezing up. The problem just started to occur after I updated it!

I have purchased this game before but when I downloaded again it tells to remove add what to do otherwise the controls are better now thanks for updating the app

Great port, nostalgia lvl 9000, but just way to many bugs to be playable, once fixed should be a nice game.

To many ads, can not play without Internet. So no ability to play on flights

This used to be a great mobile version of one of the best games of all time but it was ruined with the recent update that added ads to an already purchased game and reduced performance.

A perfect rendition of the game I played all those years ago right down to the orignal music. Controls are sharp and really responsive. This is the best port to mobile I've ever seen, great job.

Great game, but... had to uninstall. Every game, ads everywhere... Can't find the paid version in Play Store. Why is that? Don't tell me that the paid version of the game is not available for my country (Malaysia) or my phone (Galaxy Note 4) can't support the game...

I love that they released this game with the original maps and soundtrack. It feels like the cars top speed is capped compared to the original though.

Bugged settings menu. Cannot change or even click on menu items. Using my hardware back buttons will allow getting back to main menu. The game is not freezing, the music continues playing and it even saves the settings upon exit. Just wanted to turn sound effects up slightly, very minor issue imo. Not sure if the controls are minimally finicky or if touch controls can activate the "controller mode" controls. Doesn't destroy the experience but can lead to unintended drifts. Am still able to complete crazy box challenges so it's only a minor annoyance. All in all I was surprised how well this port turned out.

I will give the game 5 stars the day the original sound track is loaded otherwise the best game ever. I had.played this game in my childhood on a PSP and now I can play it on my phone it has so many memories.
