About Wordsmith
Wordsmith is a 2 to 4 player turn-based crossword style game. The concept is simple and fun. You have a 15 by 15 tile board with bonus squares for Double Letter, Double Word, Triple Letter, and Triple Word scores. You play words with tiles in left-to-right or top-to-bottom directions and earn points. The player with the highest number of points at the end wins the game.
Wordsmith features a score preview indicator that helps you determine what scores you might get before submitting a move. A must have for any serious players.
For those with busy schedules you can play slowly or for those that want to play fast you can do that too thanks to push notifications. I must warn you, this game is addicting!

I prefer this game over other scrabble like games. This one keeps you honest with chances for playing words. You can't just throw tiles up there thinking it will make a word.

I have an LG V20 and the program crashes if you scroll to the bottom of the games list. I have had no issues in previous versions of android like this in the last 6 years

Been playing 6 years, and never had any serious issues. Chat is excellent and have made some good friends. Could improve these ways: 1. Don't allow swap when no letters in bag!!! 2. Allow select/copy in chat, maybe even hyperlinks. 3. And PLEASE, when you don't quite aim right when trying to drop a letter on the board, and it hits an occupied spot, just put it on the nearest blank space, AND DON'T put it back on the rack!!!

Enables me to play games with my daughters in different parts of the country, either individually or as a trio. Adverts are a little annoying, especially the full screen ads that recently started after every turn. Solved by paying £1.99 for full version to get rid of ads. Small price to pay for much improved gaming experience.

Loved this game and played it a lot with family and friends, but now notifications no longer work even though they claim to have fixed them. The game itself is a superior version of scrabble, but the notifications not working is definitely a game breaker.

I also play Word Chums and Words with Friends, but this is definitely my favorite for a variety of reasons. Love the look and feel of it. Love the board. It's authentic. Made for adults who grew up with Scrabble and Addaword on the dining room table. Trust me, you'll like it too.
