About Wordsmith Free
Wordsmith is a 2 to 4 player turn-based crossword style game. The concept is simple and fun. You have a 15 by 15 tile board with bonus squares for Double Letter, Double Word, Triple Letter, and Triple Word scores. You play words with tiles in left-to-right or top-to-bottom directions and earn points. The player with the highest number of points at the end wins the game.
Wordsmith features a score preview indicator that helps you determine what scores you might get before submitting a move. A must have for any serious players.
For those with busy schedules you can play slowly or for those that want to play fast you can do that too thanks to push notifications. I must warn you, this game is addicting!

Able to play with friends and kill time. Free version is good and not too many ad pop ups when playing. Basically for a free game it's still payable and fun. Can't ask much more when it's free.

Brilliant game. Excellent use of three stabs at a nonsense word - unlike in Words With Friends where your so-called friend plays "QAIDS" after a million goes of making the 'Q' tile work for them. Very addictive and no complaints about this free version (adverts, game limits) at all.

This was my favourite scrabble-type game but now all the ads at the base of the screen are animated I have decided to uninstall. I understand ads are to be tolerated with a free game but I find the flashing a health hazard (migraine inducing) and I cover them immediately so I couldn't say what is being advertised. Having to cover part of the screen is awkward so it is a reluctant farewell.
