AUX B for Android
This game is very good and addictive. Some puzzles are rather challenging and after 40 levels, I though it was worth the £1.89 to get another 60 levels. However the puzzles were too easy on majority and finished them all in one night. Either make them harder or add more for five stars. Overall would recommend though.
At last a novel game idea that is well executed and values gameplay over eye candy (even though the graphics are nice). Just wish there were more levels! Heck lets throw some video into the mix, why not. Challenging and fun.
Writing this after 25 levels. I think it's an interesting game, however, it feels too easy. For example, you are allowed to cut corners and come up with much super solutions than ones that use the whole board. I would like to see a star system that rewards players for using as little connections as possible.
As a musician, I like the game and it's concept is fun, although the first 40 levels are quite easy, and I am therefore hesitant to buy them. I'd give this game a higher rating if there were more than 40 levels, as I did this in two days and now have the choice to uninstall or buy more pretty much. Still a great game and timekiller!
Solid app, good audio-based aesthetics. The game isn't very challenging however. Maybe it gets harder after the first 40 free levels, but the challenge that I did get from these sample levels didn't convince me to purchase additional ones.
After playing all 100 levels and another 100 in endless mode, I can confidently say that AUX B is one of my favorite mobile games of all time. The difficulty is on the easy side, but I never really felt bored or annoyed by it. Sure, I'm a little biased as a music tech student, but everything about this game is just so charming.
Thought this would be dumb. Ehh . Its fun, easy, & simple. Because its so easy & Simple. This game/app can teach you to notice when you make simple assumptions and act on them. Better ur self Lol. Havnt seen adds yet. And no junkware
This game got my attention. I looked over the reviews, they checked out, and the screenshots from the gameplay looked interesting enough. I downloaded the game, and, much to my disappointment, the game crashes upon launching. I'm running Android version 6.0.1, on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A. The moment I click the app on the home screen, the screen flashes black for a momnet, as if opening, before immediately returning to home.
There isn't much depth to this game. It's essentially the same "join the dots" concept which gets increasingly more complex, not because of a change in game mechanics, but a the puzzles simple getting larger. I get the impression that between each stage the only difference is a new type of port... This game hasn't convinced me to buy it. Maybe it will convince you... if so then great.
Cute idea. Just challenging enough to keep it fun without being frustrating. Plugs and wire graphics are cute and work well. I wish the 'reward' for competing the level can be a little more interesting, better music clips, etc. Still, it's fun to play.
Slow start, and not very difficult. Seems like the puzzles weren't well thought out until the last four (free) stages, and the increasing complexity is just gimmicky and easy to figure out or just ignore. Great idea, but just not deep enough to earn a buy.
I love that it doesnt tell you that everything on the board isnt exactly needed. Made it pretty enjoyable when I hit those "aha" moments. But I would have liked it if the game rewarded you for the most complicated setups cause finding the simple ways were pretty easy.
Pros: Enjoyable easy puzzle game. No ads!! Fairly reasonably priced Cons: MASSIVE epilepsy test at the end of each level. While fun, the game didn't make me feel as if I wanted to buy the next levels. There wasn't a whole lot of difficulty jump between the first and second sets of levels and there wasn't any major changes to the game other than adding a third connector. *didn't knock the game for this con, but some of the splits aren't technically possible* *didn't know the game for this con either, it bugged me that I'd go from white RCA to red EVA, dunno why lol*
Boring! I completed all 40 levels and saw no reason to buy more. All repetitive and too easy. And the retro graphics look so bad that my eyes hurt xD
Great game but the overall style needs some work. Don't get me wrong I love the win animation but the graphics in general have an odd 90s tone to them which isn't appealing to me. But keep up the good work.
The concept of this game is nice, just another puzzle. Levels start very easy, but they never get really hard. Realism isn't there, but isn't needed anyway. Graphics are OK, although the blasting speakers upon winning a level are a bit rediculous.
This game is a good idea executed poorly. The puzzles are fun and engaging, but the presentation and quantity are somewhat lackluster. This game would do much better with a soundtrack, one that plays softly in the background during the puzzle and amplifies to match the victory condition - turning the audio system on.
It'd be great if SFX and music did differ from level to level. When you solve initial levels one in 10 seconds, the same music and the same blinking wave get annoying very soon.
Seems like you can bypass most ports and still pass the level without penalty. Am I missing something?
OK for passing some time but it's way too simple to be able to compete with any other 'puzzle' apps. Has potential if the developers can find a way to make more difficult levels.
It's not very hard and gets pretty repetitive. It only took me 30 minutes to beat the first 40 levels.
Loved this game. Some levels are easy but a few are difficult, but not too difficult to lose interest. This game could be easilyexpanded to be more challenging. I hope the developer does so. Worth the $1.99 of entertainment.
I feel like setting up a live performance all over again! Love this game, makes you think it through to how to solve patching issues. Maybe they need to make this more of a test for future technician!
As an audio engineer, this is a game I can relate to! Let's hope the get into digital audio and ohms eventually! Completely stuck on puzzle 100... I don't think it's possible, but keep on trying...
It's fun but not challenging. But level 15 is broken with no means to bypass it. That's very frustrating. I wanted to give it 3 stars because I like the idea, design and graphics. But when I tried to rate it 3 stars, the play store did not allow a comment.
Cool idea but terrible puzzle design, wait too simple and many possible solutions. I never had the feeling I was clever for coming up with a solution. After 10 minutes I finished level 27 and got bored.
The idea behind the game is great. Unfortunately, there are some issues the cables were designed in the game. Normally, you cannot join or split RCA cables like that. The 3.5mm, I assume, are TRS, so where does the other channel go? XLR cables are designed for mono signals, and DIN-5 are outdated. The input-output design is fun, though devices always should have matching connectors no matter how many channels they have. Also, the blocks serve no other purpose than splitting, joining, acting as AND gates and changing connector types. Normally it doesn't work like that. Another issue is that the unamplified audio sugnal goes directly into the speaker. It's not designed to work that way and if there are multiple audio inputs on the speaker cabinet, shouldn't there be multiple speakers? Other than that, the game is fun and addicting, bought it and can't stop playing the endless mode.
Nice and fun game to play casually, but maybe a setting to disable the over the top win animation. (Also for accessibility reasons for people that suffer from seizures)
Calling this app a puzzle is giving it a little too much credit. It really isn't particularly difficult and is incredibly repetitive. I finished the free 40 levels in about 20 minutes and felt no need to pay for just more of the same.
This game is absolutely amazing in so many different ways. I'm a stagehand and this is going to be how i can get a good judge on Peoples prior knowledge of having to overcome any wiring situation.
This game is pretty fun at first. The first forty levels for free are all you need. Don't get suckered into buying the rest, as they are easy and repetitive. I feel duped.
This is one of the most interesting phone games I've played in a long time. The first 2 chapters are free and after that it's 2 dollars for the other 3, which I think Is very reasonable. Final verdict: it's fun, get it
I really enjoy the idea of the game as I love music. It applies basic use of different male and female wire connections and certain universal types such as red and white. My main concern is the fact that sometimes it takes several drags to connect a wire that is certainly the correct connection. The different tones and the tune when the final wires are connected was something I liked to discover with each level. It is a relatively simple game, great puzzle, but maybe a few graphic tweeks and coding changes on sensitivity would help for a higher rating. I do recommend purchasing the final stages, $2 is a bit much to ask to simply be permitted to touch your phone screen for a few more levels, but the last stages are more interesting and slightly more challenging. Overall it's a great game to pass time and I enjoyed my play. Would recommend.????
Very fun game and his pricing is the way games should be done. Gives you enough to see if you enjoy the game, then asks for a super small payment to get more. Wish everyone followed this method! I loved the game and am happy to support the developer
Simple, needs no written explanation to play. You can get started without knowing what you're doing. Well designed game, 5/5
Great game, love the style of it. I probably won't pay any more for more levels because I'm not a puzzle type, but if I was I probably would. The design is great, my only complaint is the animation at the end of completing a level. It's a little bright for me and flashes a little too much, even with my phone brightness all the way down.
Enjoyed it for a few minutes, but then got kind of bored of the same thing in different configurations. Overall good game, but it loses its replay value quickly.
As a musician and electronics engineer, I have finally found a game for me and the kids can stop asking me to beat the next level of candy crush for them....Lol!
It looks alright. It plays just fine. But, the "puzzles" are all incredibly simple and the only music you hear is the same three chords after beating every level

Short and simple. Not going to bother paying $2 for 60 more levels when they apparently don't get any harder. Now, if there were an Endless Mode, that just might be worth it! Games like this practically demand having endless levels, so I'm not sure why there's a limited number.
