Review Update: I am very impressed with the way this game has evolved. There are many elements of the game that make it a pure joy to play. The only thing that would put it over the top would be some sort of multi player interface. As in maybe you can go hiking or camping with some friends and not only have individual decisions that can be made but group decisions too. Just a thought. But either way this is still a great game. Well done. Very basic and easy text based game. Fun to play but needs to be more on the player side. Should gove us a choice of items to take with us at the beginning as well as more trap options. And better location information as in local plants that can be eaten or other small game. Also if you are in the deep woods there is a good chance you will not get high winds but in this game it seems like it is everywhere. But like i said still fun to play keep it up.

THE WAIT IS OVER!!! Finally! Heavy breathing and almost crapped my pants yesterday when i saw that it already has an update. Its looks even more awesome now. With tons of options! Makes me feel like a kid again having to play my favorite toy. Takes me a while to understand what the hell im doing. xD thank you Thank You THANK YOU for this amazing BIG update!

I've played the original plus a few of the smaller updates and they are great! This newest update gives the player a little more involvement, which I like, but is also a bit more confusing. The backpack screen is a little disorienting but I do like how you can organize items by use. The crafting screen is very artistic and I like how the sketches of the different crafting items are much larger than in previous versions. However, the trap/hunt screen is frustrating because it has a choice of dismantling the traps or tracking animals with no option to set up a trap (that I can find, yet). All in all, this is still one of my favorite games.

When this game first came out, I loved it. When it got the update, I was like eh... but I stuck with it, now with this latest update I'm hot. The previous update brought ads with it and I could deal with that. Now in order to get it ad free and extra stuff that was in the previous version you have to pay for the full version. I'm cool with that, I have no problems with it, but at the same time don't screw me over bcause you want to make a couple of bucks. Take into consideration the people that have been playing it for a long time. When it started out as free and with no ads. And don't get me started on losing out on my achievements that I already got and basically have to get over again for the new update.

Love the new update. Swamp on extreme difficulty...day 47 and 65 miles traveled and still surviving. I remember update 139 I beat the extreme difficulty 112 days and 695 miles traveled. This new update more options and a lot more challenging. Keeps me busy.

Was a great game until the recent updates. Limiting to 1 set of tool selection makes it too hard without paying and I really don't think a second set justifies paying for the game. Also the rain cycle has been scaled down and so have to trap triggers meaning you'll die of thirst more often than not. Shame was great before but we'll see if anything comes out of a future update.

Update: The new version rocks! Was happy to pay for the game. Remove ads and support the dev. Thanks! OMG I'm in love with this game! A realistic sim that will test your knowledge and help you to build better planning skills. Your choices & actions determines if you live or die. This game rocks and I'm looking forward to the next version + option to pay to remove ads.

Relaxing to play with headphones on. Just the sound of the campfire and some owls hooting as you spend nights crafting your gear, trying to survive.

Great game and it's nice to play something completely different for a change. Been following it for a long time now. Glad to support the dev with the purchase of the wolf edition.

Most games on here are not worth paying for. This one is the exception. You can play for free, but I felt it was worth supporting the author.

I loved this game until I connected it's to the internet. There doesn't seem to be anyway to disconnect it. Update edit: The update is garbage. The ads are ridiculous. I get that the creator wants to make money off of this but come on...charge a buck for the game then. The ads really cheapen this game.

Simple graphics, fantastic scenario situations. Did not disappoint; even my 7 year old son plays it from time to time.

The game is really great and fun to play and was just what I was looking for. No less important, I really love the attitude of the developer. An honest person with real respect for his users, which is a rare sight nowadays. Bought the full version, it's a small price to pay for supporting someone you believe in.

New updated version 319 is better but to charge $10 for a "fully full game" to only see a screen with no movement of the character or action that price is too high, I would of expected the price to pay for this full game to be around $3-$5, that would of been a reasonable price.

This update is grate I love the new crafting window . I love the way the game looks in general I like the idea scenarios. And I love how interactive you are with your players keep up the great work . The new controls are a little more complex but easier once you figure them out

It's amazing its not super complicated but it's still challenging. This update made i t soo much smoother and interesting. I'm fully planning to buy the full version once I get money. 10/10 fun, simple, challenging

Loved this game and played it daily. The new update, however, is awful. Controls are now far more complicated-- you can no longer quickly and easily manage inventory and carry out tasks. After months of frequent play, I'm uninstalling. No longer a fun and challenging game.

Edit 3: oh I can't choose 2 starting gear unless I buy the game now, some features that were free are now in the paid version Edit:update came out and now you can "buy" it for $6, I wasent expecting this to change into a priced , though I did thought atleast the max was gonna be $5 or 4$ , if it did, and some items are locked out now Glad to see you are alive and updating again, cant wait.

Used to love this game before this ridiculous new update. Great job ruining it

Loved it..fab game..wished heat loss could be slower..death should occur on prolonged heat loss too..gear and food menus chould appear on same page like a scroll up down menu to make access easier as presently opening those pages is the single boaring thing in this game i could think of..addictive game..keep it up guys

Please back the old controls. its hard for the new way of controling or viewing item specially if you're going to craft something.

I've had this game for so long had when it came out so fun but I've had to delete it and then I forgot about is game now I'm going to play and love this game

Update 06.01.2017 Installed the game once again and true to their word the developer has fixed the ad issue I was having. I understand ads pay bills but how they are implemented can be the difference. The game itself is a fun game. If you have played games like The Long Dark you will be right at home. You are given a set of choices which depending on your choice the game will play out differently for each player. I died quickly not paying attention so make sure you are in a survival frame of mind when you play this. Overall game play is fun and is safe for everyone to play. I amend my previous rating to reflect the ad changes and overall fun of the game.

I love this game!!! I had download it back in june 2016. I loved it then and i love it now its just getting better and better. I cant wait to see what you do with your masterpiece!! It would be nice if there was a scenario that you dont know where the town is and its possible to travel N,S,E or W with an unknown distance from civilisation. Ps if there was a way to make a wood supply drag kind of similar to a stretcher so you can cary more. But travel slower and more energy is used. That would be great.

Love playing, very addictive. Only thing I would add is more scenarios. Once you beat both locations and on both camper and expert the game isn't as exciting. Also, I still haven't figured out how to fish with hooks and pole. What could really be cool is if there was a skill level to either crafting, starting fires, hunting etc. Could add it in the beginning to customize character, the character could pick one skill they would excell at. That might be interesting. Otherwise love it!

I never write reviews. I never re-install any games. I never put games on my home screen. Never say never, I randomly thought about this game during my day, went to the store and re-installed right away. AND It earned a spot on my home screen. Great job, the minimalist framework in this game works beautifully. Great narrative atmosphere. 1 thing: Ad's. I'm ready to purchase this without the advertisement. The Ad's are not terrible, in this type of game it does affect the experience overall. Only because of how the game content is presented. Think Atmosphere.

On the following update can i suggest the creation of coal? Like it will take you for 6 hours to do that, i mean adding coal is like better you know what i mean? It will burn longer than a normal wood, good game! Best luck for the updates! Keep it up! And one thing to add though, after you traveled at 60 miles on canoe river, its still not sure if it has a city or a village or something. Start it with about 10-30 miles of travel? How bout that?

11/10 The failures helped me want to do it over, and over again, and never stop until I reached the end. Challenging indeed. I assure you it's one of the best survival games out there, and it's addictive!! Also love the update but could you be more accurate? I mean you get energy from the food you eat, and also from sleeping, not to mention, that you can sleep off your hunger for a period of time. Please at least consider these! And thanks for an awesome game!

Awesome improvements, as there was no update coming in I had quit this game months ago, updated it and replayed the new version. Absolutely kickass, surely one of the best Android games. Again though, problem persists with the fact that game is too small. Need more scenarios and need them quick. Small request, the heat drop is suddenly drastic when it rains request you let the person survive for atleast 30-45 seconds after heat touches 0. Instead of 0-10 seconds.
