Quantum Moves for Android
After downloading this game, I have received 8 text messages from random numbers. Why does this game need access to my contacts list? Uninstalled. It won't stop. The "numbers" are 22200000*, and 33300000* (the star starts at 1 and slowly works it's way up).
Internet issue has been fixed, and I'm having a lot of fun. I'm still not quite sure what I'm doing, so some more education/explanation world be nice.
It seems like the percentage at the job fluctuates randomly, and the gauge cycles back and forth with flashing red and what looks like 4 stars around it, not just 3. What the heck is even going on here???
Got to level 20 and my device appears to be too slow for this stuff. Registration works with email confirmation. Can this be played on PC?
Or more like not at all explained
Problems were fixed
Pretty boring
Wtf
Awesome game
From the time I got this app it has displayed a message at the bottom of the menu saying I have no internet connection, even if I do and the connection is superb. It then refuses to log me in because it is having some sort of trouble connecting to the internet, though my wifi says there is no problem.
However, I cannot create an account, nor log in with a Facebook account. Facebook tells me something is wrong. And creating an account tells me my email is bad (which it is not.) These issues stop me from enjoying the game to its fullest, and is very annoying.
Awesome concept! Now I know how to visualize some 1D quantum dynamics. It gets really hard later on though... But I suppose that's when our game data can actually help
The way quantum mechanics is taught at the UW where I am getting a Physics minor focuses on gaining the mathematical tools to work with quantum systems, but it only barely gets into the conceptual intuition of how the system behaves. This game feels like the other half of understanding quantum systems. Actually manipulating a simulated potential and seeing the results play out reinforces the mathematics and vice versa. The fact that the game also offers an objective that is practical to transferring data in quantum computing makes it even more exciting.
I can neither create an account nor be recognized as having a valid Internet connection. Half the reason I am interested in playing the game is to help submit data, so until this glitch is fixed.. *shrug*
While dragging, the game briefly stops for like 300-500ms, which results in a jerky movement and I lose control of the wave. Faster movements means more skipped pixels, so to mitigate: Start dragging but give it a few seconds for the lag to happen before you engage the wave. And: move slowly while you're carrying the wave, if there's a lag at least you'll skip only a minimum of pixels. No sure if it is a problem w/ the game or some kind of bottleneck/throttling in my phone.
Registration doesn't work. App tells all the time "no internet connection" and asks for permission to manage the calls. Why?
It keeps telling me Something is wrong
App asks permission to make calls. Denied. Even though I'm on Wifi, it does not recognize an internet connection, so cannot transfer data. Facebook connection doesn't work either. Pixel C
Can't log in with email or FB. Asked me to manage/make phone calls. Said there was an internet connection error. Sorry... didn't even get to try the game before it was uninstalled.
If you so prominently mention a piece of literature in the main screen it should be accessible.
Says there's no Internet connection, gives an error creating an account (email in use or not valid) and gives an error connecting to Facebook
Is the last level literally impossible or what?
But why does in need "managing calls" permission?
Please fix. I would LOVE to play and help generate data, but I want to be able to log in, not just play as a guest
Making science by playing a game is always a good thing
Facebook or other.. Doesn't work..
Despite I'm connected to the Internet, the app says I'm not. I can't neither create and account nor login.
Or connect?
Good game but can't create account
Love it
The game mechanics don't operate in the way described, e.g. The wave does not always descend to areas of lower energy. Wave is not predictable, so there's no skill involved. The little "you're doing it wrong" image is unhelpful & inaccurate.
It's a difficult game to wrap my head around, and my limited knowledge of quantum physics doesn't help, but for the love of God I think I understand how to move the circle around, you don't need to tell me constantly. If I release to restart because I screwed up and sent the purple jibbling about it's not because I couldn't drag the circle, it's because I screwed up. Past the first couple levels the pop up "help" should only come up when people hit the question mark, not whenever they release unsuccessfully.
I really like the game, and I will play it a lot. But they have got to stop showing me the hints all the time!!!! I'm on level 27, I get how to play the game!! I don't need to see them ever again!!!! Stop that, it's so annoying!!! I almost uninstalled the game just because of this.
This is a different game, in a good way. Although I have some suggestions about the GUI that will have a good chance of increasing efficiency. 1. Move the pink counter to the top left of the screen (in the awaiting data... Box) I found it unnecessary to have it right where your finger is. 2. A proper tutorial, the YouTube video is not the best, it shows mistakes and then skips to the next level imitating you've completed the level. 3. The circle your finger directs looks cluttered. I ran out of space.......

So I finally finished all the levels. Would the data be more beneficial if people got the highest scores they could get, or are failures just as important? I think more people could achieve higher scores consistently if there was a "ghost" of their best solve similarly to ghosts in racing games of their best lap, allowing people to fix minute movements. Also slowing down the time so we can see the "liquid" easier and react faster or more appropriately may be better too. Awarded as 1 star powerups maybe.
Interesting concept but it isn't well explained and I was left confused on what exactly I was to be doing. It seems like points are just awarded arbitraily. That said it is still cool and fun to play.
He's a popular YouTube channel that plays and shows off apps, send/suggest this to him and this app will become very popular! (Just make sure to tell him your true intentions about why you made this game and how the popularity would contribute to the construction of the worlds' first quantum computer.)
Amazing idea, but bad execution so far. It's more like a toy than something "gamers" will actually want to play. What's missing? Well, the game has absolutely no sound; many of the rules are not clear (how does the time remaining affect the score, if at all? I know the answer now, but I defy anyone to make sense of it); the leaderboard fails to load most of the time, regardless of how many times I force close or reboot my phone (on a phone with no other problems); the controls are far too sensitive; etc.

But there must be a better way to solve this problem than watching players generate (almost) random data. Are you sure you are using the actual humans' intuition rather than the computing power of the devices?
