Dungelot 2 for Android
No updates and very little response from developers about anything. No new content in years.
Game is pretty much unplayable on my Galaxy S2 tablet. I can't see the top or the bottom of the screen, it just cuts it off.
I love playing this but almost every time I play and use a spell the screen locks on 'select a target'. I have to reload the game and lose my progress.
The classic Roguelike gameplay adapted to mobile platforms in absolutely the most well thought out way possible. No sacrifices are made in depth, or strategy. If you're a fan of dungeon crawlers, or Roguelikes this is you're game. Woefully underexposed.
This is a fabulous game with a wonderful interface, excellent graphics/sounds and a very pleasing gameplay experience. No major bugs found after 40+ hours of play.
There is nothing implemented to see what the spoils do which i have currently by how many levels im reducing the monsters while in dungeon or what level the monsters are. Also i ended up having all the artifacts and there were no more available dungeons. I like the concepts, the art the mini games but as other ppl are saying there needs to be more content because i will probably uninstall the game because i cant do anything new in it
I bought 35 runes and meat, but when I reinstalled the game I lost all progress, items, and purchases. "Restore purchases" restored only the meat. That means I'm out of pocket almost $9!
Ignore the whiners - this game rocks! Lots of strategy required. Good UI, presentation, sound/music, graphics. Don't want to use In App Purchases don't use them - simple as that. I made 1 IAP to support the developer because it's darn worth it!
I recently got this game and purchased gold from the store to upgrade, came on next day and progress was wiped so purchase was wasted.... Tried restoring purchases with no success. Developers help would be appreciated!
Loved Dungelot 1, but sadly this game is ruined by predatory IAP practices. Just sell me your games in the future, it's the only way you get any money from me, but I would happily pay for a good game.
I really enjoyed the first dungelot especially now with the improved visuals on IOS but this new look with enemy cards instead of the actual enemy showing seems super lazy and kills the immersion factor from the first. Very disappointed
Has potential but either I was no good at it or the game is best played with a purchase I was unwilling to poney up. I ran into a snag realatively early on and was not motivated to play (pay) through
The screen is too big. The resolution is wonky.
Liked the first one better. I hate iap, just let me buy the game and enjoy it fully.
Game is unplayable on Nexus 9 due to game UI/HUD being cut off on the top and bottom of the screen. Please mark this device as incompatible until this issue is resolved!!!
My FAVORITE Google Play app on all my devices? The first Dungelot. I was very excited to discover the sequel, but I was horribly shocked to discover that in an attempt to, I dunno, make your game seem "serious?", you ditched the unique art style, you added unnecessary gameplay elements & in-app purchases, and now it just feels so unlike the original, I had to delete it, sadly. The only good thing you DID keep was the excellent music. Biggest letdown since I discovered tablets and smartphones.
Gets boring after a while some daily quest or more story line might do
Some lag. Some freezing
No updates and very little response from developers about anything. No new content in years.
This game would have been good (I really liked Dungelot) if it would not have been for the bugs. Especially one is annoying when you try to use a spell and the game freezes on "select a target". Disappointed that the devs stopped patching this game.
I love playing this but almost every time I play and use a spell the screen locks on 'select a target'. I have to reload the game and lose my progress.
Only 3 dungeons and limited character levels. Once you know how, you can just infinity delve a dungeon without any real increase in difficulty. For the heck of it, I went down to around floor 1050 of the 3rd dungeon. I eventually killed myself because I didn't see it ever getting hard enough to kill me. There's also a multitude of bugs, though most don't inhibit game play. I still recommend the game, though.
Seems slower than original, but great minesweeper'esque game!
Don't even try to play the game. Once you get addicted to it you will suffer the consequences. It ia design to make you pay in order to advance. Skip this.
I had a blast when I started but I keep hitting glitches. One glitch that I can't seem to get past is the "select your target" glitch. The glitch is a basic action that gets stuck. It won't let me attack anything so I just have to give up and force close the game. PLEASE fix.
More strategy then action however. A must romp if you love rogue like games
I'll Upgrade this rating when more levels and less crashes are present.
Why the dragon can be upgraded up to level 6 only? Please fix the bugs as well. .
Great presentation, easy to control, great progression, loot drops are well balanced.
Has the same problem the first one initially had. The game doesn't save/autosave. So every time the app closes, I lose the progress on my current game. Other than that a fun game. But a holdover bug from a previous game is an automatic one-star rating.
Fun game mechanics, though somewhat badly balanced. The main issue though is an extreme lack of content. Only four dungeons and new dungeons marked as "In development" forever... Nothing wrong with a game without a lot of content, unless you are offering IAPs in which case it quickly becomes a rip-off situation. Give it a try but make sure not to spend any money on IAPs hoping to play the game for longer periods of time...unless they actually bother adding more content any time soon.
Just give us more dungeons to explore :-)
But There are a lot of bugs with the spell casting and I don't think the developer is even working on it anymore.
I'm downgrading my rating. Again. The developer hasn't done anything about the glitches people have complained about here and on the FB page. Red Winter hasn't even posted any answers to the many questions people have asked. I loved the first game and enjoyed this one a lot until the glitches became too annoying. Sad.
...and developers who do a good job should be rewarded. People giving games like this 5 (or even 4) stars just further incentivizes companies to go for the quick cash grab with buggy, underdeveloped crap. Don't give them your money or your stars, both are too precious to waste on this.
I loved the first Dungelot and had high hopes for #2, but it is glitchy and crashes all the time. I do enjoy playing for the 2 minutes I get before it crashes. This would be awesome if the developer fixed it.
I loved the first Dungelot. I've had it on my last 3 phones and still play it regularly. I really wanted to love this one too. First off...I HATE Freemium games. Let me buy the game outright and have access to everything...just like the original. The graphics are an improvement over the original in some respects but, there was nothing wrong with the original either. I like the deeper gameplay, boss fights and other improvements but so far, there have been a lot of glitches that really take away from the fun. Fix the glitches, and give me a fully paid version with ZERO IAPs and you will see a 5 star review. So much potential here but it's wasted in the dogs breakfast that Dungelot 2 seems to be as of now.
I love the game but for the money spent it was very short. Why can't I upgrade anymore and is there a timeframe on when the additional levels will be up and going. Dropping my rating until I hear about any upcoming additions from you guys.
Saw Dungelot 1 and thought it was goofy but when i saw this with better art i had to try it out. Really fun and simple, you can play it in a few minutes or spend countless hours without knowing. 5 ★ may be too low of a rating for this game! Only have 1 question though... whens the next dungeon finishing development? 10/24/14 - Still not updated yet? Have you abandoned this for something else and i wasnt invited?

The first one was great. The goofy characters, subtle jokes, relaxed play. This one took away all of that, stuffed in a bunch of unnecessary stuff, and cranked the suck meter up to 9000. Really disappointing...
