7 Wonders

This is and always will be a firm favourite game of mine as far as the tabletop version goes. Unfortunately though, I was sorely disappointed to find that after paying almost £5 for an app, that I can't play my partner or friends on the game! This needs a pass and play mode or the ability to alter the AI to a human player, and most definitely a friend's list as my close friends all bought the game and we can't play one another!

Update: the Ap does indeed allow you to see the opposing game states, I now have more of a request. It needs to be more apparent, thr beauty of thr board game is the quick glance, the ap doesn't have that. The GUI is very small, and the need to swipe detracts from the game play. This ap next major update needs to include the ability to see non adjacent players game state! This is very important information and is an integral part of the game. Without this, this game will never be any where as good as the physical game.

The core gameplay is solid and I haven't encountered any bugs so far. However, the game is missing some crucial features, such as seeing the wonder stage requirements of the other players (or if they exist I haven't been able to find them). I'm also missing the promotional Catan board as a playable option, I have the board with my physical 7 Wonders game and it offers a very interesting playstyle. Hopefully Catan, Leaders, Cities, Babel and the Wonder pack will be added soon. Overall this is a great way to enjoy this marvelous board game when you can't schedule a gaming session with your friends in real life. A few updates and this will be a 5/5 mobile game adaptation of my favourite board game of all time.

Played tutorial and first local offline game and all looks good! Online games seem also to work well. However one glaring omission: online invitation/friend's list. Developers, can you please implement that in a future update?

Great implementation of the table top classic. Offline ai mode is really enjoyable and fast paced. Only improvement I would like to see is to look back at the boards of non-'neighbour' opponents at the end of the game. Frustrating only seeing that an opponent had won without being able to see what they did in the game and learn from it. Otherwise a great phone-based port of the boardgame.

The app and game implementation works well, but this app really needs a 2 things: 1) a "local mode" either Pass and Play or Bluetooth/WiFi network so you can play with friends. without going online to try and find each other. 2) Being able to set dummy AI hands for people who only have 2 players, or want to play with a greater player count, similar to what the Ticket To Ride app does :)

Great have all around and this version is awesome. I have 1 question that has stumped me. I had a wild science in my wonder board alongside 1 gear, 3 protractors, and 3 compasses. That should be 36, but the game only gave me 26. An I missing something? Or is this a glitch?

Just like everyone else suggested (need a friend list, a way to play with friends), one more suggestion, we need an in-game countdown. Took some people forever to decide what action they are doing. For chat function, it is only there when we are waiting in the lobby, I think we should have a way to chat during game.

Finally there is an app! Functional interface gameplay is smooth and quick in single player however the app itself is incomplete as the multi player online needs MASSIVE improvements. No invite option no private games. I get disconnected several times a game every game. This would be 5 star if the app was complete but it's not at this time. Also the AI needs work..

There's a pretty bad glitch with halikarnassosB. Sometimes when you activate a wonder and should chose a card from the discard pile, even tho there are cards in the discard pile none appear. There is also no option to move forward in the game.from this point and you have to quit. Extremely frustrating

I love this game and have been waiting for this to.come out! However, my first game ended and I noticed the scoring was wrong. I finished with 19 gold but was only scored for 3 and I completed my wonder which should have given me 10 vp but was only scored for 3

Cons: Game disconnects and when I try to reconnect, the client could not be found. It does track the previous game that you left or got disconnected to. Happened to me on a stable Internet at home and 3G outside.

Great adaptation of table top game, but multiplayer needs work to allow friends list, game invites and more control. Only minor recurring bug I've encountered so far is that the background music keeps returning, even when turned off.

A great start... but needs several important updates: [1] An exit button to close the app (or maybe its just not showing on my Samsung Tab?) [2] Friends list to quickly set up game with friends [3] Play and pass function so you can have mix of AI and real players in offline mode. Will be interesting to see if devs focus on player requested updates or go for the DLC add-on crash grab...

Great game, good adaptation, but a bug report option would be nice. There a mistake in the text of the Trader Guild (age 3) card. It state grey card but should refer to yellow one's.

Solid initial version of a modern classic. Would like friend's list, stats, asynchronous play, achievements. Music sometimes playing despite being toggled off. Edit: If I turned music off and on again it stays off for that session only.

Loving it! Lucky I'd played the tabletop before as the tutorial is a bit complex. Need an in game FAQ or reference guide, think Civlopedia due to the complexity of the game. It's a pain to exit rerun the tutorial do the whole thing to get to the part you need.

I love the card game and this does it well. My real problem is that after buying it on my phone, it looks like I have to buy it again for my tablet. -edit- A couple of days later and it was fixed, so I didn't need to purchase it again.

Love the boardgame, was hesitant after reading reviews as the game seemed a long way from finished. However I wasnt disappointed. I enjoyed the fast pace, though I agree with a lot of the comments: Playing a four player game, the bot opposite me scored 38 for science........the bots inbetween us weren't stopping him, and I couldn't see his board to do my part, needs to be addressed. Otherwise the UI is about as good as it could be on a small screen.

Updated review: 5 star implementation of the actual game but lots of quality of life improvements and options are needed like stats, friends, and game options. Sometimes joining a multiplayer game gets a bit buggy but usually works later.

Update, issue fixed thanks repos I love the board game, which is why I bought the app version. However it just gets stuck at the welcome screen with the three wonder stages loading. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but still the same issue. Is it possible to fix this or refund my money

I love 7Wonders, so a digital adaptation is awesome. I'm very disappointed in the constant disconnecting during online matches though. I'm connected to home wifi and 4GLTE, but still disconnect from 80% of the matches.

I love the real life version. This wasn't the same... It won't so fast and they didn't down any time with how the bots turns went. Instead of 45 min it took 5 min. Would like to see at least a pass and play option

Voting 1 star till they fix issue with creating account and logging in. After purchase I made account on app to play online against other people. Well after logging in it just keeps saying updating profile. I'm able to log out so I did and made another account with another email and still same issue.

My favorite board game! The app, though, needs a friends list, and it shouldn't punish me (dishonor to the deserter) for disconnecting. ALSO i get disconnected if i open another app (ex: spotify). Other things that would be nice: 1. Set ai personalities (balanced, militaristic, vengeful etc). 2. Rank/stats 3. Achievements and the ability to see them 4. Quests? Might seem silly, but the artwork (especially in cities) tell a story. The quests could be offline only

Overall plays as expected, things I would like to see added/changed. 1. Ability to play with specific friends online instead of only random people. 2. Needs to store the history of games you have played, track statistics etc.

Should be asynchronous for online play. Also, kind of wish the gameplay wasn't SO instantaneous. It's sometimes difficult to see what each AI played.

I've been waiting for this app for a while and it doesn't disappoint, however, there seems a glitch when counting guild cards at the end. It consistently will not count 1 of my 2 cards when doing final scores.

I love the implementation of most things. It is relatively difficult to see non adjacent boards, but it can be done. I think this was done the correct way being that screens are so small and there is so much information to show. No complaints there. My biggest issue with this game which is very frustrating is that if my screen turns off I get booted from the game. Because there are bugs with the reconnect process, if my screen turns off the game ends for me and everyone else playing. This seems like a major issue that needs to be fixed. I have a relatively long screen timeout, but I hit it almost every game as I'm waiting for other people to take their turns. I shouldn't have to keep poking my screen to stop it from turning off. There's no way screen turning off should be booting people from games. That seems very, very wrong.

I get booted out when I try to start a solo match on my R11 Chromebook, kills app completely. Will rate 5 stars when it works. Hurry! I love this game!!!

The base of a game is to play with friends, I love this board game, but the app.... you have a Channel to speak but impossible to invite friends...should be the base of a game like this..

I love this game! The graphics in this app are amazing and look exactly like the board game. It's not quite the same as playing with friends and family in person but it is incredibly fun. Will be 5 stars once friends/invites are available.

Great game! I only don't give it 5 stars because there is no "statistics" section--it would be awesome to be able to get detailed stats on wins, point allocation, wonders used successfully, etc.

It's a shame that this app is so bad and feels so rushed because I love 7 wonders. It has bugs such as crashing on load when I have no internet. It is gameplay issues like unintuitive gestures and difficulty getting a sense of what opponents have if you play with more than 3 people. And it is missing features that are such obvious and standard things such as: leaving you logged in with your name and avatar when not logged in, keeping you logged in or remembering username and password, no friends list or password games so you can't play with friends, multiple human players to pass the phone around and play with friends, etc. That's just the problems off the top of my head, there are certainly more bugs, gameplay issues, and missing features. Such a shame...

Great Boardgame and Great App! However... I'd like to see: 1 - Friends list, ability to join a game with friend (s) 2 - Ladder System, some way of ranking me after many games, pairing against similar level opponents 3 - Match History, At least show final scoring 4 - Ability to see what resources opponents need to build their wonders Thanks for hard work, look forward to updates!

Update from my previous review. A restart of my phone has solved my game loading problem. Just played a game against the AI and it worked great!!!

Great implementation of the awesome, board game in need of some serious polish, FAQ, rules manual, pass and play, friend list, more intuitive way to see other player boards, clearer randomization of playing boards, more than two AI opponents, etc. Looking forward to the cities, leader expansions, and all the QoL fixes I hope you're working on. Thanks for a great game.

Love the board game. This is a wonderful adaptation that feels like it's missing a couple of features that would make it completely awesome: 1) pass-n-play would easily bump this to 5 star rating, 2) game stats that track how well you've done against AI/local/online players, 3) first time overlay to show how to view opponents playing area. I suspect this will become a 5 star rating after the next major upgrade... Unless the next upgrade is the expansions. As excited as I am about the expansions, the UX improvements would really make this game shine.

I love 7 wonders! One of my favorite table top games, but like so many other comments, I would love the ability to pass my friends online. I guarantee sales of this app would sky rocket when I can play against family from across the country.

Great game, just like the physical copy. Easy to see what everyone is doing and how you fair. Science scoring made easy WOOHOO. 1 star off, I want local multiplayer with friends. Have 3 kids between us physical game is hard to manage while chasing kids.
