Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Loved playing this game to death. It's the best GTA of all time. Did have some crash problems initially, turns out if you uninstall and redownload it fixes it... Must of been a corruption issue in downloading such a big file over 4G, stable home internet is the best. Take note of last couple of sentences people with issues with the game.

At first when I played the game, everything ran smoothly and the controls were there. But after letting my phone charge for an hour, the Game was lagging quite a lot, and the Attack, Entering Cars and Steering controls were lost, and eventually I was trying to Go on a mission, but since I can't Use the controls. I couldn't do the mission

Completed 100%. Some missions are fairly tough with touch controls but it's doable. Pretty well a perfect port. I mean come on... Its ps2 era GTA on your phone. Its worked on every phone ive had over last few years with basically max settings. Currently on an LG G3 and runs great. Little Haiti is a bit laggy on any setting but there is a lot of polys in that area of the map.

I bought this game, and it worked well for about the first week, then just stopped working after the opening cut scene. But if I can somehow resolve that issue 5/5! But there are a few other changed I would make, like for instance, the driving controls are sloppy compared to its PC and console counterparts. Also occasionally the cars can pull to the side for no reason. Also, takes more space then is quoted in the description! Have at least 2 GB free but the more the better! Otherwise, love the game!

I fondly remember playing Vice City on the PS2 when it first came out. This port is an excellent version of that game with some minor changes that I don't believe affect it negatively. First there are some songs taken out from the radio, the cost of buying business is much cheaper and easier overall and the controls (especially first person mode while shooting) are difficult to master. However, the game runs flawlessly and loads very quickly. It's takes on a minute or so to get into the game and causing chaos. I imagine with an external controller the game would be much more enjoyable but even with just touch controls it's very enjoyable.

All these kids reviewing this game low. . This game is old and they aren't going to go in an edit anything. Its not made for a controller if u want to use a controller buy it on a console. If u don't have enough space on your device that's your fault for not reading the description. If its not working on your device email them they can help u out or give u a refund. They will never have gta5 on mobile it be like 10gb maybe more and drain ur battery in 1 minute.

I remember buying this on release day in 2002. If you'd have told me that a decade or so down the line I'd be playing it on a mobile phone I'd have declared you insane. Mobile phones then had Snake as a game, space impact was as good as it got. It's crazy how a game as complex and huge as this can be played at high res on something that fits in your pocket. Brilliant port, runs really smooth. Controls are well placed. A must for any gamer. I never completed it on PS2, time to finally see it out.

This was one of my favorite games from the PS2 era, so to have it on my Note 4 in widescreen HD, with the full soundtrack still intact is pretty awesome. It's funny that this version of Vice City is in widescreen HD, and looks beautifully current, but the version of this and Vice City Stories available for download on PSN are fullscreen, standard definition, and look terrible. I hope they release them on PSN like this one, and add trophies while they're at it.

Just like the old days but better. Good graphics and smooth gameplay with easy control's. thxs rockstar couldn't be more happier. Now all we need is vice city stories. And get it to where you can download this on your SD card.

I have downloaded this game before and while clearing out my phone space I accidentally un installed it, so when I tried to re install it after. it wont re install it says error so if you can help I will insantly give 5 stars because ir if a fun game to play. Error occured on samsung s4 mini. Got reply instantly by email 5 stars for you rockstar ☺

I love this game. Reminds me of the old GTA games. Sandreas, Vice City Stories, Liberty City Stories, you know. Controls are a little diffucult but if you have a OTG cable and a controller, it makes the controls a whole lot bearable. Besides the little difficult controls, graphics are great, games runs smooth, voices in the game are amazing, and this mobile verson of Vice City is just amazing! I am really enjoying it so far. Definitely worth the $7 and the 1.5GB of space. Thank you Rockstar Games for making this mobile version of Vice City, and for android too!

Def better graphics than GTA III. Might have to tweak the display settings of you plan on using in different devices. Not all work flawlessly with high graphics. I wish there was a cloud setting or something to switch my saved info on to another device. Never the less this is still a classic as well and very happy with it! Lookong forward to get San Andreas!

The controls and updated graphics make this game so much more better than the original. If you think the drivings bad try a new car but in all honesty I always have sucked at divining gta. Maybe get a controller? This has the best sound track of the series and is a must have for scar face fans. The story is amazing and I enjoy every minute playing this game.

I am so happy that grand theft auto vice city is available for my droid turbo and now on droid turbo 2. A lot of actions and nice musics. Nice graphics, nice city with nice funny people walking around saying funny things. I also like how the realistic beach blonde women on roller skates doing the sexy dancing exercise lol It's an idea for people who want to lose weight. Vice City is one of my favorite video game.

I have all the gas on steam, but they are so much more fun when they are touchscreen, so I bought this game. I have never cheated, and I beat gta San Andreas (which isn't easy) in about 4 weeks. It is December 27 today, and I will update this review then I have beat this game. BTW, I own this on steam but have never played it because I hated using a keyboard for this. I only played gta 3 (out of San Andreas and vice city ) with a keyboard. Have fun guys! I know I will! Oh, and if any of you are in a rage about the flying controls, don't worry, once you get them (after many rages) you can fly anything in any game like a pro. Man, it just finished downloading! I'm gunna go play!

I bought san andreas, vice city, gta 3, and liberty city stories.... haven't tried gta 3 on this device yet, but San andreas and vice city both have terrible screen tearing and crashing issues. Doesn't matter what I do with the settings. Liberty city stories seems okay but has crashed twice. Wtf? I'm on galaxy s7 there should not be an issue smh.

I have bought and refunded this game countles times and its not because i dont like its because i cant even install it. It wont go to my memory card it goes to my device storage and my phone doesnt have much free space and ive tried moving my other apps over but it just wont work.

Apparently I can't save them from the car bomb mission because when it's defused im told to take them to the gig which I did but I'm the only one who got off the car but the band is just sitting thus I failed and killed them WTF do i do!? Fix immediately or something btw I'm on galaxy grand prime.

This rating is from a GTA fan. Love you Rockstar Games. But you Guys dont give it a update .but why? Any way but all cheats do not works perfectly.I wish you guys will read my humble words. Once again love u GTA

Using an Xbox 360 controller makes the game controls so much better. I had a problem in the beginning. When I entered the North point mall, the game would freeze every time. I uninstalled and reinstalled and so far I haven't had any issues. Playing VC is like bringing an old friend back into my life.

I was on mission "bombs away!" where i got to control an rc plane and throw bombs on cuban boats and t7he whole game just stops and this 'GTA Vice City has stopped ' message is keep appearing. I didnt pay my 6 bucks to get those glitches and not continue. Please fix this or help me get a refund.

This is the only way i can tell rockstar i love GTA 5 i play it daily also i would really be grateful if u put unlimited invisibility insead of 5 mins. I use PS3 im really looking forward to PS4 but idt i can get it just yet ok so i hope u guys take my ideas and also y dont u guys make gta 6 and put the realistic crashes from BeamNg Drive itll be so much fun

Game was fun, suddenly the controls stopp3d working. Turned off phone, reset, nothimg...srill no controls. Brand new samsung note 5 phone, this game is apparently not compatible with this device l. Too bad i wasted $7 to find out. Uninstalled and I will no longer download apps frm this manufacturer.

Works lovely on my LG Stylo 2 crisp graphics even though it tends to lag every now and then. could use a cheat code installment and maybe a way you can put some beta features in but rather than that I really enjoy playing this game when I've got nothing else to do and it really kills time. Even though there are visible bugs with the graphics as well. I've heard it's not the device either so this game still could use some work.

Works with the XBOX ONE S Bluetooth controller perfectly. Amazing Graphics, Enjoyable Gameplay, Epic Storyline, Free roam- Open World Game. I would prefer the scaling to be different though so that the world looked bigger and being able to change the third person camera while on foot. An old time classic by Rockstar! A must try!!

I love gta and by that I mean all games besides Chinatown wars and others. My father played this game in 2005 on his ps2 until months later his idiot Ryan Johnson broke into the house an stole the system and all the other games. Ryan Johnson is also responsible for the disappearance of my mother who was found 2 days later

Great game, easy controls, runs better than the PS2 version even when on max settings. Occasional freeze when travelling between islands, and some songs were removed from the radio, but those were the only noticeable downsides. Otherwise works fantastically. Would recommend for sure!

The HD remaster is great however... A lot of songs have been removed. Also touch controls are trash. They're only ideal on a tablet, and even then a controller is still better. The game runs fantastic on a Galaxy Note 4 on a snap dragon 805 cpu. I get 60fps and probably a minimum of 25 but I average about 40 I'd say.

Very good controls, but can sometimes be a bit unresponsive. Turning the graphics setting up in the options menu can slow down cheaper devices like the older galaxy series and some of htc's mobiles. I have a moto x play and I get the odd frame drop here and there on nearly the highest settings. Very playable, great game used to play it on the ps2. The graphics look a lot better than previous versions so I am very happy with my purchase.

Great story line, interesting characters, lots of missions, ive only played gta san andreas on pc, before, but i may actually like this one even better. Using samsung galaxy TAB S, just one request. The car driving experience does not reflect in real time, in respond to my steering. Hard enough to complete driving missions, this makes it almost impossible. Love it other wise. Thanks in advance.

Just brought had for three days every couple hours it needs to download more data now its not even opening just forcing close.. Waited and saved to get game now i wished i believed the bad reviews and save $

This game is great.....graphics are nice..still needs work but very nice. The controls are OK ...the brake button kinda malfunctions sometime. Other than that no complain here lol...it took 4 downloads to work good.....for anyone who wants to purchase ...do this 1. Download and install game 2. Leave the main GTA vice city purchase page 3. Go to my app page and Watch GTA download from downloads column 4. Once done just click on the icon from the same page 5. Should work...make sure you turn sleep off in settings so game has a better chance working :)

Controls are the biggest issue. If you have the patience they can get fairly accurate. Its very playable. But otherwise the game is unchanged. Aside from graphics update. And the ability to instant replay missions. Played well on my ace style. (A phone the game wasnt tested on) so 5 stars. Looking forwars to buying gta 3 next payday

Don't know what it is but even with the inferior graphics on the mobile platform as opposed to today's console GTA titles, this is where I was introduced to the GTA series on PC, more than a decade ago. Would recommend, in fact, I would insist that you play Vice City and see for yourself, so soooo worth £2.99. Also the controls are top notch, with a customisable layout so you can choose yourself where the onscreen buttons will go.

I never leave reviews normally but just had to for this one to counter all the people moaning about not having good enough devices to play it on. Downloaded for Honor 6 Plus phone and runs like a dream. Kept me entertained for ages during a week long hospital stay. If anything the auto targeting makes things too easy , swap to manual for a challenge ;)

Best mobile game other than sa yet, i already have sa on my xbox 360. I remember playing vice city when it was still the new thing!

The left hand options such as run shoot and such don't show up half the time. I have to restart my phone and sometimes it still doesn't work. Not worth the money.

Rock star can I please get a refund my game will crash all the time. I beg you to please give me a refund? I'm a big fan.

I deleted the game and lost all my data. I downloaded it back and lost it all. Cheat codes wont give it back but i wont have to get all my money back and weapons and places too so it would just be easier. And can you make the controls a little bit easier to use. Thats all i have to say.

This was a really fun game on the ps2 and its still really fun an intact on Android but the touch controls aren't the best. It lags on my Samsung Galaxy Note i7i7
