Mercenaries Saga2

I have played this game from beginning to the end. This game reminds me of FF Tactics & Tactics Ogre, because this game has the same gameplay as those two legendaries strategy game. However, this game story is very short, it only took about 10 hours to finish the game, its story is quite okay, but the gameplay is amazing & the controller is very easy especially the touch mode.

Im trying to figure out why the controlls make me want to smash. Is it that I cant touch the character to use them. I reallly have to use that ridiculous directional thing in the middle of the screen that needs to be larger to be used efficiently on a phone. I have a touch screen. It dosent need to be there. Finished the first battle and dont want to play the rest after using. Even snes games had the auto if theres only one enemy next to you to attack it selects them when you choose attack. I may try again at some later date. Maybe. Cant even tell you if the game is good or not.

Overall the game is great however it is not without issues. First it is very crash prone, the second mission crashed three times alone. The other issue is the quick clear bonus is extremely unreasonable considering your characters power to enemy power, which is nice as it adds a level of risk versus reward but is completely shot in the face by having to search constantly with a character for all items and chest.

damn this really what I want! a Tactical RPG with old fashioned 90s theme. didn't play the whole game but the story seems promising. minus point is just the control is a BIT hard with portrait screen on phone since the game didn't support auto-rotate.

A solid tactical RPG. I love how grinding is more emphasized over some premium equipments and whatnot. It does has flaw, however, that is how cumbersome it is to move the cursor in battle. I find it that premium items and equipments present in it nearly broke the game; it ruins the fun! But fortunately it just a minor issue.

I've played tactics ogre, final fantasy tactics, fire emblem, the list goes on. SRPGs are my favorite games and the storyline and characters in this one are my favorite. I would have payed $50 dollars or more for this game and yet it's less than $5! This game is worth every penny and then some!

It has mobile control of a Final Fantasy Tactics clone down. In fact the controls are my favorite part. But the visuals are unappealing and the story just never got my attention. Also it never felt like I was able to customize my team. All in all it's an ok game. But only ok.

I love the game but it often crashes... The plot is good but if you fix the crash, it will be epic.. Also sometimes the enemies block the path and if i kill them the battle finishes. The point is i want to hunt those chest but with those enemies even if its the concept i dont like it

Hours of grind all for it to just crash my phone one day. 5 stars when it's fixed. No there's no sound or effects, the controls aren't perfect; but at soon as someone who has complained makes a better game themselves send me a pm otherwise come on this is a good game

Thrice i have purchased crystal, thrice it gave me the sucessful message a d thrice the game crashed immediately upon that. Checked my google accpunts and purchased was made. Log back into game and nothing was updated. My money was gone 3 times

i think this story is too short. why guns can shoot the last person in the row? why the job class so few？ why i cant fuse effects into traded eq? why spear can poke the one at behind without hurting the one in front?but i like this game though

Good game just like ff tactics, but too bad this game is not free to the end, but just free until story scene 6th n if u want to vontinue the game u must pay for it.. what a let down ¤_¤

The story and style is very reminiscent of ff tactics, and tactics ogre in a very good way. Frankly, I am not the sort of person to pay for mobile games, and that hasn't changed, but if you are the sort, I highly recommend it.

Great gameplay for a mobile game, two control methods, even if you have trouble with one set of controls you have another control scheme to try. Demo is long enough to get a feel for the gameplay and controls. Not quite FFT, but I am not expecting that, but it is similar enough in style to recommend to fans of it.

Freezing is completely fixed! I went ahead and purchased the game now! Thanks so much for fixing this game and I hope you guys will bring Mercenaries Saga 3 to android as well. Now I highly recommend this game for those interested in tactical rpg's. Great job!

Installed as a tester since I'm planning on making my own "tactics" RPG... This showed me how to NOT make the control scheme, thought it was horrible. (Thought I'd use to to try and find the limitations of android but I'm guessing its ancient, that or just crap.) Edit: now it makes sense, its and android remake of a 3ds game. Explains why it's so crap.

No technical issues through the 6 demo chapters, would've preferred touch-first interface rather than half-of-each weirdness, but it's workable. Only complaints are how almost every action only affects one target even counting through the first tier of promotions; and how weird it is to keep one enemy alive and comb story maps for treasure, especially with automatic counterattacks. Breaks story, artificial challenge, missable items = sadness, not replay value!

I think this game need more improvement for the character which is equip with shield. And also need solution for app stability, for Android 4.4 , because it has freeze problem too.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD! When I try and unlock the lvl 6 limit with real money! it says it was purchased, but then it will not unlock at all. Done it 2 times and my money went into oblivion. Getting my bank to refund me my money and telling gplay about this as well. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

This is basically the best game ive ever played for free. It basically rivals.some console games that would be like $20-$30. I'm left i awe at how many people would rate this game so lowly. I havent finished it but up to the point ive playedit i can say it has a great story and a combat system of final fantasy which is my favorite game of all time. Please continue to support this game so that it can keep getting better.

Its great but the one flaw is that it is already on the 3DS and 2DS ststems did they have to take yet another game that was already published and put it on the app store. If you ask me i think that game designers today are running out of ideas.

Control are bad, the button and then change to action list are bad i think. Why you force to place the "your front side" before the action. Cos after the action you'll change your side neglecting your choice before. And also we should be able to move after action (didnt move yet then you choose to attack, that'll makes you end your character's turn) thats all the bad think (will probably find more)

Really goood! Crash so often...luckily they make a quick save option. Still lost like 3+ hours redoing the battle

A clear throwback to Final Fantasy Tactics! Awesome progression, totally fair microtransactions, and a satisfying story. Couldn't ask for more, especially for only 3 bucks. Can't wait for more!

I was so excited to find and play this game, however the AWFUL controls have me uninstalling it. It is not fun fumbling through your turn with the poorly designed controls. What a shame.

Good game, could have been longer, but decent story. Game was a lot like tactics orge ps1. Tactics orge was better, but I still enjoyed it.

This game was great... but need some repair bug and improvement...because when i,m doing shop or see equip and skill... the item, weapon, armor, accesory and skill list is error...i can,t see them...item and weapon is important for a game tactics like this..and if we can,t buy weapon and item..we can,t finish this game smoothly..

UThis is what FFTA on DS or PSP should have been, if this game had a world map to roam (an Idea for FFTA3 is Battlefield = World Map, so vehicles like Horses, Wagons, Airship for icon travel like FFTA) the time wouldn't go by so fast. - Graphics: Way better color vs DS & pixelation vs GBA, view/ZOOM and body/area proprotions vs other Tactics games - Counter & Defend are natural abilities - Temp Save is great vs fleeing - Earn money per kill - Pick any ally to go first (Devs check email for ideas)

Not even close to classic trpgs or modern mobile ones like Lionheart tactics. Too "old style", also.

TRIAL VERSION: must pay for full game. Cannot change view of battlefield, controls a bit awkward w "joystick" or touch. Otherwise fine tactics - if you skip the story...

Dang it! They just let you play until chapter 6 before you must purchase the full version. I played this game for about 6 hours and this game is good after all, but I still don't purchase it. Btw, can we link this game to our gmail or at least Facebook? Thank you

Loving it. I like the characters and the progression. I like how I can go back and do the free missions as much as I want and level up. I forsee a lot of play time for me.

If you HAVE to surprise us by forcing us to pay then I'll wait because I'm not one to purchase something if it's not worth paying for especially if it's a mobile game that fails to meet the features a real game console has no issue of giving....

FFT style and decent job classes. Doesn't require dungeon grinding to enjoy the storyline. Good job

A very satisfying strategy RPG campaign. Well worth the 5 USD. It did crash on me a few times though.
