RetroArch for Android
Honestly a very good emulator. Ignore the people complaining about things such as cores or overlays, all the cores work fine and the overlays are pretty good. The problem is simply fanangling the overlays enough to get them exactly how you want them. Regardless of whether or not you change any of the overlays, they all work perfectly. However, it may take a grand total of 5 minutes to set up your cores in the beginning. Once setup is complete, however, Retroarch runs perfectly. Can't recommend this enough.
Works great most of the time. Thou pico drive seems to have stopped working. Can't get it to load the core. Attempted updating and reinstalling retroarch. Any suggestions to fix my issue. It's the only way I can play 32x on the go
Brilliant yet rather complex to set up. After a short read of some help articles I got my head round it (I think). Works flawlessly once set up, highly recommend
It's most frustrating issue is that as far as i can tell, you can not map any of its functions to the gamepad. I hope you have an entire damn keyboard for this thing.
Had it up and running within 2 minutes (snes with super ghouls). Didnt need any tutorial, was self explainatory imo. Great job devs!
This used to be my goto emulator mainly because it had so many. But lately it's been crappy in the sense it doesn't keep saves. I'd play a game for a few hours, quit to charge phone or do other things, then when I came back my saves were all gone, either from the in-game save or the save states. Save states never seem to work now. Never saves or loads, or never changes save file.
Very subpar. I know how to use it. And the boot ups are slow. Some roms crash on loading. And could not even play a SNES rom at full speed. YMMV I guess
Very good all in one emulator, too bad not all the cores are working perfectly, even the NES ones, it's still a hit and miss depending on the roms. It's great when it's working though. I hope the compatibility will be improved soon.
I love this app but I have some issues first don't read all my ROMs in my SD card and force to close went I scanning neo geo or arcade ROMs any sugestion I will give 5 stars
To be honest, the only reason I use this is because it's free. There are so many glitches and bugs, and half the time it thinks I don't even have any roms.
This is hands down the most versatile emulator I've ever used... I played Knuckles Chaotix til I got bored, then played Avp for Jaguar... ON MY PHONE
This emulator is like having a machine where you can play anything you want from consoles. If you don't even read the menus or all the options and you just look fot the big PLAY button, go away. This is for high-than-average people.
Inane C button mode for N64. Needs analog stick to digital support. rip any chance to play DK64 comfortably
Please, make different screen gamepad for each console! Playing genesis with the only screen gamepad retroarch has is a nightmare! Make retroarch best emulation platform!
I hated this thing i couldn't even get one game to start. It would just freeze once i chose the core to use and then close from no response
The UI is confusing and hard to use because the virtual controls would overlap the menu. Also majority of roms don't even work on here. Pass this up and look to other emulators. This still needs improvement
PICODRIVE STOPPED WORKING AFTER UPDATE. I DID THE CORE UPDATER AND STILL NOTHING. NO 32X UNTIL ITS FIXED. PLS HELP
WOW 10/10 best emulator ever
It's Like My Phone Is A Console It's Very Greater Best ever!!!
The latest version does not have the Megadrive/pico core. I use this core to play 32x roms. Please fix this!
Could use some work on common problems
not working disgusting app waste of mb and time
It's like you need a instruction manual to be able to figure this stuff out real fast
Excellent emulator. Don't believe the negative reviews, these are only from people that can't work out how to use it.
Slightly complicated, but has the best compatibility with my games
Nowhere NEAR what a PC can do
Needs more plugins/libs for video rendering
DID NOT WORK!!!!!!!
Frames drops
Not mobile nor computer friendly
Don't download waste of mb
Awesome!!!!!
This is a promising app with emulators. The mame 2014 keeps crashing on rom load. It plays some of my ROMs fine. Its a work in progress but works.
Retroarch is nowhere near user friendly, but it is definitely complete. Retroarch is a compilation of other emulation cores, so the emulators all have high quality and all the dev has to worry about is making sure the UI works. It's not a super user friendly UI, but its by far the most customizable and complete. If you want an emulator that does, for free, and youre willing to spend some time configuring it, this is 100% worth your time.
The only emulator you need for android. Most of the negative reviews complain it is too complicated, but it is fairly straightforward, as the info page on here even explains the whole process including downloading and loading cores. If you have enough patience to figure this app out for 5 minutes, it will do everything you want it to.
Nice design, poorly programed. many of the cores dont work, and the ones that do don't adapt to a touch screen so it treats it like a mouse, giving you a cursor instead of letting you touch the screen. probably works well on comp, but if its gunna be mobile work on actually making it mobile
No complaints here except for the controls, but that's a problem that all mobile touchscreen emulators have, so I'll pardon it that. Other than that issue, everything else works perfectly fine, and I no longer have to keep 10 emulators on my phone, just this one. Highly recommended.
What can I say about this awesome collection of gaming history? Everyone should have this and more developers should get into working with it. Running into a few issues lately with clearing away some bad settings and behaviors. This really needs a reset to default option or some way to completely clear out all settings.
I don't know if it's the game I'm playing Mario kart 64 or the settings need some tweaking but it studders bad any thoughts cause I've always used retro arch and never had any troubles

This is an amazing emulator that turned my mid range phone into a device that could play anything from 15 years ago however there are 2 problems. First I don't know how to delete cores that I don't want and Second is that with the default control scheme, there is a button that is relatively easy to press that hides all of my controls. Both of these issues could be caused by my lack of knowledge on using emulators so I decided not to give this a negative review.
