Ned Yost's Baseball Academics for Android
Stick to coaching Ned
I guess in some scenerios you can do 2 things not 1. For example bases loaded no outs. I play second and picked home because i thougth my coach would've put the infield in on the play if it was a close game but the correct awnser was second base for my question. I see how it can be second as well as it can be home

I love the concept! However at least from my position (CF) half the time when you review it doesnt show you what the right answer was it just says you got it wrong. Also everytime there are two outs and it says the play is a fly out, I throw the ball in to 2nd and it says I'm wrong. What? Like that's the third out. I'm in center field, what else am i supposed to do with it. Giving me a bad score for something that's not even really wrong. I hope they fix it, because if these two things were fixed, itd be 5*
This app is great for anyone. I have suggested it for everyone that started to get into watching baseball last season but didn't really get why teams were setting up in shifts or anything fundamental. Great app.
Way to go my brother in law mark britt. Creative!
Finally!! all players should have this mastered!! What a great idea for an app used as a teaching tool for new, young and even the old.I myself as a player find myself learning from it all the time!! you can never go wrong with knowing more about the game you love.
It's fun... it's just too simplistic. One out, runner on 3rd, and you field a base hit in left field. This thing tells me I'm wrong to throw to second? Two outs, no one on, you catch a pop out in left field. I was again wrong to throw to second? The inning was over... nothing should be wrong.
This actually has helped so much!
Thank you Ned and the guys that developed such a neat app!
Love it i follow you guys on Insta and I love the scenarios

Originally, I thought this could be a great teaching tool for 10-12 year olds who are glued to tablets and phones. They get to play a game, and learn situational defense at the same time, but it just doesn't work. Not all the answers are correct, as seen in other reviews, there isn't much time to answer questions, and in at least my version, it doesn't give score, just runners, outs, and innings. If the app was fixed, I'd definitely go for the paid version, but it's not even worth keeping at free.
