Take charge of the airspace around you. You’re the air traffic controller that thousands are depending when it’s time to land at a busy airport. Welcome to life in the Air Lane, a game where you manage the air space around your airport and direct aircraft to runways. Your airport is no ordinary airport. It’s a magnet for attracting action. It’s not just the aircraft that are constantly streaming in but it’s also the environment itself. Day will turn to night and the only visual queue you will have for your aircraft is its navigation lights. At some airports you will even have occasional thunderstorms.
It’s not all hard stuff though. You have the ability to direct an aircraft to one of two flight levels to avoid collision. This ability allows you to manage essentially 2 sets of traffic in the same game.(LONG PRESS on aircraft to activate)
Finally for every 30 aircraft you land you will get a special ceremonial visit from the head of state(HOS) of a country. The HOS aircraft will fly around your airport once before landing. If you can manage to not crash other aircraft into it, the country will reward you with cash.

•NATIONS: Head of State aircraft from 17 nations (including all G8 nations) will visit your airport, complete with flag and anthem.

Calm Day, United Nations Special Session, Migrating Birds, Medical Emergency.
There are 2 mini campaign which adds Thunderstorm, Fog and cruise missile attack modes to the mix for a total of 6.
Each mode presents a unique challenge and consequence. This is in addition to
directing aircraft safely to the runway.
•AIRPORT: 8 airports in unique climate zones.
Each airport features its own visual style as well as runway configuration.
•SPECIAL AIRCRAFT: From time to time you will get a surprise aircraft that will themed for a season or event.
•AIRCRAFT: 10 aircraft type(including a cruise missile) each having a
specific speed, runway requirement and purpose.
•SPEED BEADS: With speed beads you can slow down
an aircraft for a specific section of its path.
•HIGH SCORE: Top 7 local high scores are saved.

I liked it enough I bought the full version just to see the other airports. Demo gives u very little. Full version is nice but getting old quick. I should have noticed the last update was over a year ago... Hoping it's not a dead game. Nice if they updated it with new airports & features occasionally & really nice if it had a save game option. Playing just long enough for things to start getting busy over and over again kinda sucks. Hoping the designers see this note bc it's otherwise a great game

The game isn't even that hard since it only throws 2 aircraft at a time at you at the most. On the Aircraft Carrier campaign, in the first mission you'll constantly run out of funds and go bankrupt before you can land a single plane, this forcing you to fail no matter what. I don't know if this is a bug or a sick joke of programming, but I recommend getting Air HD instead, and stay very, very far away from this game.

Viewing issues sorted. Basic gameplay seems too easy, and could do with helicopters and variable speed of aircraft. The scenarios are a little repetitive also. Graphics are good and gameplay is smooth.

Prior to the 1.72 update, I would have given this 5 stars! The problem is that the update has turned a great ATC sim, into something deathly boring. The planes now travel that slow that there is absolutely no challenge whatsoever! Speed the planes up back to what it was and it'll be a great game again!

In the Lost at Sea campaign after Phase 1 no money is transferred. This means that the airport runs out of money in Phase 2. Also, and I noticed this only after purchase that there are only a handful of reviews. I wonder why.

A lot of fun, but I find the small planes often don't respond to touch, even when you do have the "large area" setting enabled. When things go wrong because multiple airplanes simply did not respond despite several attempts to direct them, it can be exasperating.
