About Handheld Football
Handheld Football is a retro-revival of the classic hand-held football games of the 70s and 80s. It's you against the computer as you control the offense. Maneuver the quarterback to complete a pass to a wide open receiver or find an opening and run for a first down. The game features support for power-meter punting, kicking, and kickoffs, with live-action sounds. Increase your skills playing against three levels of difficulty. Customizable player colors and skins allow you to pit your favorite teams against each other. Recommended for players of all ages, normally liked by players 35 and older.

Retro Football is much better with stats and a much larger screen, but both suffer from terrible playability because of the sluggish controls.

Game is fun, but on my Galaxy S series phone with large touch screen, the d-pad needs a lot of work. It can be very unresponsive and you can't move your player

Cons: I despise virtual control pads; too much time spent waiting for players to move. Otherwise very fun game.

This game is boring. Not very intrresting and it plays like an Atari game!

It's a good start, but the 4-way controller is so small and unresponsive/slow you have to look at it to see where to tap, and you get tackled. A larger controller would make playing easier, so you can do the other stuff, like passing. There hasn't been even one chance to pass either!
