Dreigiau Dinas Emrys

Ap Cymraeg ail iaith ac adnodd ar-lein i athrawon a disgyblion (11-18 oed) yw Dreigiau Dinas Emrys. Bydd yr ap yn datblygu sgiliau iaith Gymraeg mewn ffordd ddifyr a hwyliog. Mae'n seiliedig ar stori Gwrtheyrn, y brenin Brythonig o'r 5ed ganrif a oedd eisiau codi caer yn Eryri i warchod ei bobl rhag y Sacsoniaid.

Datblygwyd y gêm ar y cyd â Llywodraeth Cymru, arbenigwyr iaith Gymraeg, datblygwyr Red Ninja a disgyblion ac athrawon o:

Ysgol John Bright, Llandudno, Ysgol Cardinal Newman, Pontypridd ac Ysgol Eastern High, Caerdydd.

Dreigiau Dinas Emrys is a FREE Welsh second language app and online resource for teachers and pupils (11-18 years old). The app will develop Welsh language skills in an interesting and fun-filled way. The game is based on the story of Gwrtheyrn, the 5th century king of the Celtic Britons who wanted to build a fortress in Snowdonia to protect his people against the Saxons. Each night, after the builders had gone home, the walls would collapse owing to the antics of two dragons underground at Dinas Emrys.


The game was developed in association with The Welsh Government, Welsh language specialists, Red Ninja developers and the pupils and teachers of:

Ysgol John Bright, Llandudno, Cardinal Newman, Pontypridd and Eastern High, Cardiff
