Video Poker - Jacks or Better

Pretty accurate to optimal video poker strategy for 9-6 Jacks or Better video poker. I have noticed one discrepancy... other than that everything seems to be right on the money. Would love it if stats kept track of longest streak of consecutive correct hands. UPDATE: Looked at screenshot and it's actually not a discrepancy... hand actually fell under exception.

Good game but how do you reset the money when you get down to $0? Tried reinstalling but that didn't work. Please respond. Thanks for response - have upgraded from 4 to 5 stars thanks!!!

This app is exactly what i was looking for. It tells you if you have chosen the wrong cards and keeps track of your errors so you can get better at video poker using optimal strategy. Graphics are ok. I love that i can play one handed unlike other video poker games which make you turn your phone side ways. Sound effects are absolutely atrocious and in desperate need of updating but this is by far the best free app I've found to help get better at jacks or better video poker.

I love this app. I normally would not dare play any kind of poker in a real casino because I didnt know how to play. But thank you for having the hint button it help me understand the best strategy to play which help me win a Royal Flush.

This app is great for showing you any mindless mistakes that you make & giving you an overall accuracy rate. However, don't be discouraged if you get an error for something you took a chance on, like shooting for a royal flush when the game wants you to play safe" and take a pair or optional strategy. You can't win big if you play safe 100% of the time. I would give 5 stars if the game showed you your old hand when giving you an error. It's hard to remember what you had to fully understand the error.

The update was excellent! Now I can reset instead of fiddle-farting with my app settings. Thanks for the wizard of odds table. Now I can remove my bookmark for the website. My learning has reflected on my payout the few times I can afford to blow some dollars at a casino...WGL; Biloxi, MS.

Tried many JOB trainers and paid ones and this is the best so far. Easy to learn what the best cards are to hold with every play and all on one screen. Get it, you won't regret it!

Best video poker trainer. I know it doesn't matter because this is a strategy trainer, but I can't see my balance because the icon at the top shifts the rest down and covers it and the app would be more fun if I could see my balance.

I just upgraded this app to 5 stars! Wrote the creator about being able to save this app on an SD card and he made this available on the current update. Thanks for listening & keep up the great work! Hands down this is the best video poker app in the Play Store!

Would be nice if it told you what the "strategy error" is. Also, I would NEVER! hold four cards to an inside straight. And, as far as a straight goes, I'm NOT! going to hold a low pair in favor of an open-ended straight.

To me, this is easily a 5 star app, except for the fact I can't access the menu and reset my money. I tried by long holding the back button (which works in other apps) and it did not work. I then set up accessibility options to put a menu button on the screen, and that does not work. I have a Galaxy S6 and my wife has an S7. Neither of us can access the menu. If this is fixed, then I will give this 5 stars.

I would rate this higher if I could access a menu to reset the bank and error count. It would also rate higher if it was consistent in when it generates a strategy error.

Great app but...don't expect these results in Vegas. Once in a while i hit "big" on video poker here.. I'm talking a couple hundred for the ten bucks i put in the machine. Stick to this app, forget Vegas.

Once you're out of money and you have the free version the stupid ads at the bottom don't let you replenish your funds. Come on developers get your get your stuff together. This should not happen.

I'm playing on a Note 4 and after zeroing out my cash I can find no way to add more so I'm stuck unable to play. This program is great but how do I continue?

This app is very helpful, but it could be better if a hierarchy of strategies was included. In addition, I could not find a menu to change preferences (as shown in the screen shot) or reset money or statistics.

Why would it tell me i made the wrong move if i kept three to a royal and threw out 2 queens 3 to a royal should always be held

Cannot reset cash in. Google ads is blocking the menu button.

I'm probably dumb but I can't figure out how to get into the settings menu or reset bank/statistics/etc on my tablet. Nothing seems to work.

One way to reset the app is to go into your settings, go to "apps", find the jacks or better app. Push the force stop and clear data buttons. Lots of changes to go through that could be a simple fix.

So the latest update suddenly requires access to my files and to my call information? Sorry, but I'm not gambling with my private information for the sake of learning how to gamble better. Uninstalled.

Question - why is the payout for holding Q higher than holding an A, ceteris paribus? It seems that in jacks or better, the payout should be the same. What am I missing?

The only app I found for jacks or better that has a built in trainer. Seems to follow a "simple" rather than "optimal" strategy, but the difference in return is .1% and simple is much easier to remember. Great for a casual player like me. I just wish it was easier to find good pay tables in real casinos! Works great on Moto G 1st gen and Tegra Note 7.

There is an ad banner at the bottom now that will not allow me to reset money or stats. App is now useless to me. Galaxy S6 Edge.

I had J heart 7 diamond Q club A heart 2 spade. I held J Q. Got error saying should have held 7 Q. Thought I would get error saying should have held J A. Which is correct? I see now it gives u position to hold but does not show orignal card. Would be nice upgrade to show before n after when there is an error. Im getting better. Must review cards before hitting error continue

I highly recommend this app, as it took me from knowing absolutely nothing about video poker - to near expert level! I can now walk into a casino and play with confidence.

Would have gave it 5 stars but it seems to be missing the reset stats options that I was used too. Fix this and its 5 stars. Running LG G4 now. Was on razor m.

How do you start over once broke?

I been playing with this app for couple of weeks and is good. It even recommends what to do if you ask it. Plus it gives you stats about your game too. I actually played and won $400 with a royal flush at Reno, NV It did help to not make mistakes on the actual video poker machine.

Great game. Would be cool if you could reset the game.
