It is a different place and a very, very different time. A place where most are just struggling to survive. It is a place where the SSA (Space Security Administration) is trying to maintain some sort of peace in the galaxy. The SSA was originally a group of planets that tried to be a peaceful enforcer of the galaxy. However, they fell short on funds and resources and sold the job of the SSA to companies willing to do it for a price. This led to more of a corrupt policing of the galaxy but still did its job from time to time. Most of the Outer Regions of the galaxy were still a place of unrest; they were places the SSA would never go. The Outer Regions were full of criminals and races trying to escape for one reason or another. The Outer Region is also a place The Witches call home. Where a group of aliens, that fused magic with machines to do their bidding, and plotted to take over the galaxy. A magic older than the galaxy itself with power like no one has ever seen or survived to tell about. The Witches used their power to control criminal organizations in the Outer Region to supply their ever growing need for technology and power. A technology that was mixed with dark magic that someday would leave the Outer Region and take on the SSA for control of the galaxy.

First Mission:

The settlements on the planet Neptus have suffered devastating meteor showers. Your mission is to escort the medical supply ship Gildon Horn through an asteroid field to space station Micras 8 which orbits Neptus. The Gildon Horn has limited shields so take out as many asteroids as possible.
