The game cheats. No way around it. I gave the game an honest few months before leaving a review and uninstalling it. Many times I have seen the die "studder" where they would normally have stopped but then they continue to roll for an extended time. And wouldn't you know it. The perfect roll to land on my only 1 unblocked piece, or the perfect roll to get its piece out of jail.

Programming levels makes the game rigged. Even at easiest level the board wins the first roll. If I could I would rate this game in the negative

The throwing of dice is just not random! I have had this game for months and played it at all levels. Expert level shows no difference in skill but in luck of the dice for the computer! I have tried it out many times, thinking "hmm, all the computer needs now is a double/four and one/three and two etc" and guess what? It happened!

I was going to give u a 5 star rating but the game cheats. You guys constantly get doubles nonstop, more. U guys get the perfect moves and we don't not fair.

The best feature of this game app is that it includes a TUTORIAL for new players, or in my case, players that hadn't played for years!! Thank you guys for that.

Computer always rolls exactly what it needs, but re-rolls my dice when I get what I need.

It's still a computer and seems to get doubles more often.but I have backgammon it on 3 levels.working on the expert level now.

Spaces should be alternating colors, same color spaces are directly across from each other and why do we have to play across from our home board. It's all bass ackwards and no options to change it. Sloooow and hard to stay interested. And why does the computer roll the dice when i have my home board block. Isn't the program smart enough to know he isn't getting off the bar till i open up a space?

Seems to roll the perfect # every roll on expert level. You could have 3 pawns open and I seem to never be able to knock them off but I have one and you get it every time not to mention constant double. One game I got 2 doubles and you got 10

Its a way to pass the time but I swear the computer cheats. How many times can you roll a four one in a row when those spots are blocked. For me it was 5 times. I think I'll find a different game...

Absolutely the best backgammon game I've played on line so far!!! I would just ask or say you need more background themes and colors. It's a good game for the fairly new player to play and learn something they don't already know. The best way to learn is by our mistakes. This game is perfect for that. No pressure!!!!

Computer repeatedly gets doubles and the perfect dice roll to send opponent to the bar, especially on the Hard and Expert levels. Very frustrating.

Because the pieces move in the wrong direction, the house always gets big double numbers. This game needs to be more fair

I am going to un install it you can't reverse the board and I am used to playing other way it looks like a fun game and I love bg but going to look for one with more playing options

Statistically improbable throws by the computer detracts from this version.

Too slow. The "expert" level implies too many "magic rolls" by the computer

You can play as perfectly as possible but the computer will always get the perfect roll. It'll also force you to leave your pieces standard and subject to be taken. It ruins the fun of Backgammon... Such a shame

Good game, i would prefer i was playing from top right of board to the bottom right going left around the board, as is the normal play

Just so we're clear... all backgammon apps cheat. This one is just not as obvious as most. It is, without a doubt, ridiculously bias in favor of the computer but at lease it is respectful enough not to slap you in the face with it each and every roll as if you were too stupid to notice. I gave it three stars which means I think it's ok. But the fact of the matter is I think its ok in comparison to the other apps. Make no mistake this app sucks just as much azz as the rest.

It's amazing how the computer gets the exact roll it needs every time. Definitely programed to cheat. It sets you up to fail with the rolls that you get.

Whether you've just forgotten or need to learn how to play it teaches you easily. The app plays well.
