QONQR: World in Play for Android
A great location-based war game with 3 large global factions. With local battles between factions around the globe, (as well as the global event at the start of each month), this game easily grows on people when given the chance. When starting the game, try and contact players of your faction as soon as you can. Either locally or on the Global and/or New Players room in-game. Experienced players from all factions are happy to help new players get to grips with the game. (Also, the faction communities help keep the coordinated battles alive). To conclude, of course, you should join the best faction: Swarm :P
Use to be a good game until all the BS is added to try to stop exploits such as more than one account. But all it has done is make it hard for family and friends to play together which is one of the points of the game. To play a mini game to become protected from sync lock one person has to take a drive to get far enough away from the other. Kids don't drive, some people are disabled. Plus you work hard to level all the way up just to get your missiles nerfed, just not worth the time.
I've been playing for years, it's an and if you're looking for a location based game or just a new game to play, I highly recommend Qonqr!
Cool game ????????
This is a great game and kind of addicting
More experienced players will help you a lot, and even without players nearby you'll have stuff to do. Contact players of your faction and they will guide you. The app has a lot of settings, defaults aren't optimal in my opinion. Also, it can run on dirt cheap phones. There are daily quests and a main line, the weekly MissileMonday and monthly Atlantis. Even if you are in the middle of nowhere after a month or two of growth you'll be a worthy target and etc. Really, there is more than meets the eye.
Love this game and have been playing it since before the android app has existed (windows phone.) World wide constant battle going on, on a real world map.
Came back after a year away to help the old team out. Game is still buggy and frustrating as hell. Root lock is easily countered, but the constant contradictions are infuriating.
I played this game on Windows Phone a few years ago. It wasn't available when I switched to Android and I forgot about it. I'm happy I found it again. Such a cool game!
K this is much of what I thought was missing from ingress but also missing some of its depth at the same time with the portals themselves or in this case cities where bases can be built. I think there should be more of those to engage people more
5 stars for doing this with little funding. Adding content and focusing on development is huge in my book.
Fantastic game. Really draws you in to fight for your geographic location! And fantastic community.
A simple yet entertaining zone control game.
Great GPS based game! The war has begun! Go SWARM
Unable to play, says my device is not supported (Pixel XL)
Although a little slow to get going,QONQR hooks new players in quick and keeps them wanting to play more and more.
Game is now broken, money wins again
Best on windows phone, shows battle animations.
Great game. Join Legion, help us save all of mankind!
Love this game 20☆ stars
My favorite game.
Awesome game!
Great geolocational game, but you need to be active and social to get the most out of it. But it's not for those with no tolerance, you'll need a years worth of play in order to get to effectiveness and learn your strategy. If you're from Australia, Join the resistance the against the swarm and faceless domination that controls the land. ????Join the legion to-day!???? ????????Ad Victoriam!???? Your local legionnaire, ????Valoria
UPDATE : CHANGED HANDSET TO GALAXY NOTE 3 TO FIND OUT ITS NOT SUPPORTED- ????????????. PLEASE QONQR DEVS, RECONSIDER US NOTE USERS. Still a great game. Still loving it. Still launching daily. UP THE MIGHTY FACELESS!!!
My friend and I found Qonqr two years ago. We both loved it from the get go and quickly invited several other friends to join us. Though we were surrounded on all sides by an overwhelming faceless majority, our luck shifted and we now own half of our county. At one point, we had nearly 12 local guys working together, which was awesome. Those were the days. Then, months passed and we began to lose all our friends to inactivity. Eventually, we both went MIA. I have returned and still enjoy the game, but I can't say the same about any of my fellow Swarm brothers. In my humble opinion, there are two things missing from this otherwise awesome game. 1.) The once great community I experienced has degraded into nothing. I haven't been able to establish comms with a fellow Swarm operative for weeks. The biggest (and best) part of the game is the social aspect and organized strategy. Unfortunately, I have returned to find little to none. 2.) The graphics are great. The interface is fantastic. But, there is something missing. Players like myself enjoy some sort of animation to show a battle taking place. It spices things up and attracts new recruits when coupled with a good community. I'll admit, it costs a lot of money and takes a lot of hard work to meet those requests. I applaud the developers for continually making QONQR better and better. But, it still is far from the perfect location based game. Until then, I will continue to play...and hope... Thank you.
This game has been a love of mine for many years, I just recently switched to android, and thank you to Silver and the team for putting it here! Also, use "brussel" as your recruiter code to get a bonus out of the gates!
GREAT GAME, GREAT COMMUNITY. If you passed the several tutorials and get in a faction that has your city, you'd be good.
Great game. I just wish it would stop removing itself from my home screen with every update.
Great game, but some places are unbalanced when it comes to player per faction ratios
I love the social aspects. I am meeting people I really enjoy staying in contact with.
Fun for little bit but quickly turns into pay to win. Not only that ,the game does nothing about obvious multiscopers (people who use more than one phone /account) and in fact don't even have it against the rules... Prepare to watch as 10 of the same guy destroy everything you've done. Stick to Ingress
Great strategy game with a great community. I've been playing since the beginning of 2014 and I found good players that want to have fun, with whom you can coordinate. It doesn't matter if you play 24/7 or rarely, you can enjoy this game in every way and with the people around you. Give it a try!
Easily my favorite game! I have played since 2012 and don't see myself leaving. If you sign up as a recruit, you get a bonus. Put my name in (poopascoopa) if you want. Even if you don't, feel free to reach out to me and I will help, no matter what team you join!
It's a great and well built game so far, but there's only one thing wrong with it. It's a HUGE pay to win game. Many people have suffered the wrath of the rich while they watch their zones burn and there's nothing they can do about it because of how unbalanced it is.
Played for a year, then got a new phone and the game barred me from playing for using in an unrecognised device. What a waste of a year
Awesome game very well done
Best game of it's kind
Pretty sweet game
Devs really care about the game. Lots of fun, especially in areas where all the factions are active!

COMMUNITY. This games community is the most important part. You can max out your upgrades relatively quickly so the only real factors in balance between local players are how many are in each faction and how much players are willing to spend. And when players spend real cash to win you will easily be able to take back anything they took without reaching into your pockets. The first thing you should do after getting through the initial pop up tutorial is find some of the local players and shoot them a message. Especially ones in your faction so they can invite you to the chats. Us vets usually have nothing better to do than throw our stockpiles of supplies into leveling out some ground for new players.
