World Map Quiz

Turns out I am shamefully ignorant in geography, and this app is a wonderful way to remedy that. Allows you to learn countries on a 'silent' map by region or world; name, capital or flag. Also has big cities and oceans. (Like a previous reviewer, I agree that adding major rivers would be great.)

Great app! But as they say perfection knows no bounds. I would suggest two minor (yet important) updates: 1. Put the stress on every name there is. There are some really unobvious stresses in proper nouns. Best way is to mark it with color, because: a) there are different rules as to how to read accent mark in different languages b) there are names that allow multiple stresses 2. Add an option to quiz the full region and not the random half of it. The "View world" mode doesn't challenge you to memorize anything. "Elimination" mode has no breaks, doesn't display the country's quick info block and (most importantly) give away certain locations by elimination the others. And the best training mode - "Country name" mode - has some strange limitation: twenty-some countries per region for the normal difficalty. What for? It results in that some countries keep popping in every game, whilst others emerge very sporadically and therefore are harder to memorize. It doesn't require much effort - basically, just add a hard difficalty for each region, where there are no quantity limits and the quiz goes through the whole list of countries at once.

Love this app! Only suggestion I would make is to put in the few dependencies and de facto states not in the game (i.e. Macau, Aland, Abkazia, Somaliland, etc)

You need to make the "confirm" button bigger, all the way to bottom of the screen. Im sick of hitting the countries behind it when im trying to speed answer.

Everything is good, but I couldn't remove ads. I tried many times, but transactions were failed.

Well... This is a great game to sharpen one's geography skills....but one thing I would like to point out... Though i won't like to go into anything political.... Still i observed that the map of india & the map of pakistan seem to share a piece of the same geographical location (see : north of India & east of Pakistan)....please see to it....else its fine!

Its a great game, and more over than that it helps you to lesrm the entire world map in just a week. But i would likr to suggest a fix, while playing, its really hard to challenge your best time only because some small countries in the map are hard to select. For example try double clicking over Bahrain and then compare it with double clicking over East Timor in elimation mode. Its a huge difference. Please fix it.

Have some issues with payment (buying the remove ads) in US, which is sad because I love this game and really want to support the devs. They are very friendly after I reached out for them. Sadly I can't figure out how to properly set up a PayPal account to donate to them. So I'll give them 5 stars here!

If you put Kosovo as unrecognised then you should also put Cyprus since its not recognised by Turkey (Un member). Also a list of other countries are unrecognised as well. I still love the game and I hope you will take into consideration. Cheers.

Extremely useful app. Went from being geographically barren to now knowing the exact location of every country in the world. Highly recommend.

Add more depth on graphics, elaborate the terrains and a test on river systems can also be used to engage the users. Highly potential app, appreciate it
