This is the PAID version of the popular Hong Kong Style Mahjong. This is in response to a number of people that requested a paid and stable version. NEW version includes the option to play with FLOWERS and SEASONS tiles included.
This version is totally add free and will be maintained as a stable and supported version.
Be prepared for fast paced Mahjong action. Incorporating traditional Hong Kong rules with many options to customise your playing experience, including:

This game now automatically saves your progress so that you can resume at any time in the future if you have not been able to finish a round. It will also record a list of high scores and achievements.

At last, real mj - not just tile matching. Great pace of play, easy to see even on phone screen. Intuitive interface with useful options. Just the right amount of feedback and instruction. Have recommended it to others who like it as well. Great support, too. It's 5 stars for me.

I bought the paid version. Fun to play. The app does the complicated stuff - scoring, winning moves, initial layout - so you can focus on learning the game strategies. It would be nice to gave a pause between games rather than each series running into the next. Also a switchable back button would be nice: visible for practice games and hidden when you're playing "for real". Thank you so much for making the real Mahjong game so accessible.

"New achievement self drawn" then nothing happens. The game will not allow me to win. Happens with the free version, so I decided to pay. Now I'll request a refund. Would gladly keep the game if this were fixed.

Very nice traditional mahjong - it's so disappointing that many people think that mahjong is only a matching solitaire game. I love the new tile sets :)

At the start of every game, the same person draws and discards first. In mahjong you are supposed to take turns going first unless it's your turn and you win. Also sometimes a Kong registers when it's a different tile to the pong you have. Please fix! Thanks!

Overall an excellent game! Plays well on my LG G Pad 10" tablet and my Kindle Fire HD7. . Very good graphics, nice layout, silky-smooth game play. One problem I've noticed when playing on my LG G Pad keeps me from rating with a full 5 stars (for now): on occasion, when I attempt to resume a game after logging in, the app will abruptly stop and force me to restart. Otherwise, this is a nearly perfect game, and will get that 5th star from me once the problem is solved. BTW, many thanks for the ad-free, paid version... saves a lot of wear and tear on my device's battery, and makes playing "Hong Kong Style Mahjong" much more enjoyable!

Works perfectly on my Samsung 10" tablet. I have just started to play the game with a group and this game is a fantastic aid to learning and getting familiar with the suits. I have played about 50 games without any sign of a bug, bit of a novelty compared to some applications. Excellent value for less than £1. Anyone wishing to learn mahjong this application is the one, how about porting it across to Windows Phone then I can play it whenever I like? Well done to the developer.
