Vengeance Pro (Android Risk) for Android
About Vengeance: Vengeance is a unique play on the classic board game Risk. Vengeance has been optimized for rapid expanse, reinforcement, and generation of new armies for your empire. Earn bonus armies by holding continents and defeating opponents.
Discover your own strategies to best counter Vengeance’s four AI personalities. Risk your armies, go offensive, or build massive defenses. Play single maps, campaign mode, or compete for the top rank in the 24 hour leader board. If you feel you need more challenge, add Fog of War and play test your skill without being able to see deep behind enemy lines!
Vengeance Pro includes dozens of maps (27 maps currently), Ad-Free Play, campaign mode, leader board, and resume previous game. Maps include special Holiday maps.
To the reports of "Dice rolls are crap". I agree! I am sorry ahead of time for the enevidable terrible loosing streak. I promice there is no reason for me to add frustrating logic to a game I enjoy playing. Vengeance is coded using the java random number generator. If you can't stand loosing a dozen rolls in a row, please turn off the simple dice roll and turn on the loosing streak midigation which stacks the odds attempting to avoid winning or loosing streaks. Eventually, I will be adding a battle log that you can scroll back through to see just how bad or good your random luck has been.
In game, each player is given one army to place one at a time to set up the board. You are given 3 armies to start each turn. You as the human have the advantage and get to go first. Attack winner is determined by random number generator giving 50/50 chance on first attach. To help mitigate loosing or winning over and over, every loss ups the dice roll to give a 10% advantage on the next roll. This stacks up to 3 times in attempt to avoid long streaks. This option can be enable or disabled in the settings. In addition, a 5% defender initial advantage can be enabled or disabled in the settings. Army size also helps during the attack. For every army that you have over the other army, you are given a 2% advantage. This army advantage is also controllable from the settings.
Vengeance is not a Risk clone. I created a game that would be quicker pace than Classic Risk. I wanted a game that could be picked up and played in 5 minutes here or there without dedicating too much time as most devices will be phones. Risk gameplay between strong opponents could take longer than a mobile battery might last.
Please continue to email me with suggestions and comments. Thanks for the all the current feedback and helping to shape the game!

...it does not work well on my Nexus 5X. The resolution is off, the sound comes in and out, and it freezes on the home screen after paying a match. I love this game; if the issues could be resolved, I'd re-rate it at five stars.
I really like the game...however the End Combat and End Turn buttons are so small that it takes me five...six...even ten tries to push them. They were not meant for a adult male to be sure. Fix that problem and I rate this a 4.
Risk mechanic. I've spent a lot of hours playing. Runs much slower with new Android operating system. Wishing for a zoom feature. Droid Turbo 2 has text super small.
Need more maps. Very fun and entertaining for risk lovers
Addicting
So fix the dice issue! Armies are not being awarded when they should be, routine is skipped sometimes though the acknowledgement is there. Initial play is sometimes jacked up. No way, even on hard, that enemy with 4 countries, no regions, initial army of 8, should be able to wind up with 23+ and march across the board! Enemy logic overrides dice rolls it seems like. Hard difficulty and it takes 4 or 5 for me to take 1, yet they can have 5 and wipe out 12 even with defender advantage turned on. Many bugs in game, why doesn't developer address them other than 'apology in advance'?
The task bar on the left is incredibly tiny on Samsung Galaxy S 5. Fix with next update.
Only played it a few times but it works ok, no glitches or similar. Plays quickly as well. Enjoy
Love this game!!
Simple and very well done game. One of my favorite time killers.
This game is a great version of the classic.
Great game, just needs more maps.
I liked this risk like game
I love this game enough to buy it but we need more maps. Im bored with the current maps available.
Wish this wasn't so problematic...
Great game for $1. Passes the time and each game is a new challenge! Needs some new maps though please. The Valentines and Halloween ones are offensively lame. Also really needs a computer surrender option once you get to like 80% ownership of countries. Annoying Having to mop loads of computers up when you have the game won already.
The one thing that kept me from giving a 5 is I feel the roll mechanics are off. Some games I'll win 80% of the rolls no matter how many troops I am using to engage other locations. Other games I'll loose 80% of my rolls. Guess it could just be random chance but I used to play a lot of risk in real life and it doesn't feel right. To many times I would take a location with 5-10 troops, attack a location with 1 troop and lose all my troops. I realize it should happen sometimes but often it happens 3 or 4 turns in a row.
Vengeance provides for nice, fast paced gameplay. I like the many fantasy maps and the fast pace. I don't like the modal dialogs, a pain. Check out 'Landrule' for a better implementation.
Good game that is easy to learn and difficult to master with a dash of luck. Allows for more than brute force strategy but that can work too, especially against thinly spread forces. The AI will take chances against your weaker territories which are sometimes held tenaciously or fold, leaving open entire swathes of your flank. More maps and sound fx please!
i am a long time risk player. like the similarity but really like the quick play. more maps would really be appreciated. did I mention this is addictive?
Wasn't disappointed however only 4 stars due to FEROCIOUS battery drain while playing. Seen it deplete a 100% charge in less than 20 mins down to 15%. Can watch at least two full length streamed HD movies for same consumption or less.
A good version of the old classic game. However there is no zoom function and the writing and end turn button are very small on HTC One. Still recommended for all risk fans.
Works great. Enjoyed it so much more then other "Risk" like strategy games I had to buy the pro version in order to get more maps.
Just terrible. Great job failing.
Definitely worth 99 cents! I've noticed the routine for dice rolling sucks sometimes, but overall I'm happy with the purchase.
You will lose at least 65% of rolls. Not just bad luck but bad design. Lucky the so is worse than the random number generator so you still win most of the time
Would be a 5 but it uninstalls itself every so often
I have issues with my purchased version.
like risk but better
Excellent & highly addictive game but it's a battery killer on Xperia Z
Great game
Great game, but multiplayer? Local and WiFi please
Shocked after viewing the high scores page! There's NO WAY anyone is beating ANY of those maps in 34 seconds!
I love this game. Its so addicting. My old problem(very small) is that I can't change colors anymore :( oh well. I'm still going to play.
Works flawlessly on my galaxy s2. This recreates the classic risk map and game play perfectly and goes a step beyond with dozens of new maps. Thanks for the great game!
Wish this wasn't so problematic...
My GF hates this game. I'm addicted, lol
This game is great. Feels like I'm too good when I rarely lose on hard, but it's a great game and pretty much the only game I play on my phone.
Love the app but after this latest AT&T software update and switching to T-MOBILE the game keeps shutting down then immediately going to the start screen. This is happening roughly every 20mins. Before this glitch I would have given the game 5 stars.
