Churchill Solitaire Card Game for Android
Great version of Solitaire. Controls get stuck at times, hopefully they will fix. Once they do, I'd give it 5 stars.
The games seems like it would be fun, but it is not usable on a phone. In portrait mode the cards are too small. In landscape there is not enough vertical room. Would probably work on a tablet.
Can't lock the portrait view! Opening video can't be permanently disabled. Great graphics alone can't make this a great game.
Game stops frequently. Graphics are a bit clunky; look reminds me of some really old games. Hate you have to pay to get more than the trial games.
Several bugs. Cards hung up instead going to victory stack.
Don't like having to rotate Samsung 6 to be able to see all the cards
Different & Challenging. Takes some getting used to but we'll worth the effort!!!!
Got a new phone and lost all my previous scores. How do I retrieve them?
Great game, beautiful app. Only downside is that it is very resource-intensive, and drains my battery very quickly.
Most challenging solitaire game I've ever played! Love it...so far

I enjoy this game very much. I have one issue that buyers of this game should take note. When you try the sample you are given hints and backups to use. I believe there were 10 of each. I used learning to play the game. When I purchased the game I discovered no new hints or backups were included. Therefore, I had none with which to play the game. Hints and backups can be purchased, but I don't buy a full version game to be charged for extras that should be included. Game is enjoyable, but don't use hints and backups for the sample game. There are no more to come after you purchase the game.
Love this game. But there most be a memory leak or a greedy algorithm, probably the auto complete checking algorithm. The game gets bogged down if you play multiple rounds. And if there's a lengthy auto complete on the board it will usually crash. Besides the brutal hit my phone takes for running this I still play it...
The strategy is more complex than I first thought. Quick tip that the rules didn't emphasize. The de k deals only to columns that don't lead with kings, so move cards around to decide which cards you need available, and which you can afford to cover up.
The more I play the more I realize how much strategy is involved. They fixed the scoring issue with the last update- so now progress is recorded. Never crashes , no glitches , playing on Galaxy Note 5. Enjoying very much- it's so much more involved than regular solitaire. Well designed format.
I love the game and have played it on an ipad for about a year. The android app is in many as good, if not better than, the app for Apple devices. One nearly disastrous problem is that card images can become black near the end of a game, making it nearly impossible to finish the game. An upgrade that eliminates that problem is needed. Otherwise I wasted my money for the upgrade.
The only thing more frustrating than a diabolical game of solitaire, is one that crashes when you near a win. The software keeps popping a warning that it has problems with the latest version of Google play services. It needs a major but fix before it will be playable. Upgrade is not worth it until the bus are squashed.
