About Puzzler
Puzzler is an addictive brain game where the game engine thinks of a number and your job is to find it within a minimum number of guesses. There are certain rules to the game which you use to arrive at your solution.
Rules
-------
1. The game engine chooses a number. You have to attempt to guess the number and give the accurate answer.
2. There are 2 types of challenges and 3 levels of difficulty as shown below:
Classic mode of challenge does not have a count-down timer while Blitz mode has a count-down timer, that tests your concentration too, against which you have to provide your guesses.
You have to give a
3 digit number in Easy mode
4 digit number in Medium mode
5 digit number in Hard mode.
Please note that in this version, there may be no leading zeros, and digits may not be repeated.
3. For each guess you make, the game engine answers a combination of the below terms:
Fermi -- One of the digits in the guess matches one of the digits in the answer, and it is in the right position.
Pico -- One of the digits in the guess matches one of the digits in the answer, but the digit is not in the right place.
Bagels -- None of the digits in the guess match any of the digits in the answer.
Multiple answers may come out of a single guess. For examples, look at the table below:
Lets say the engine thought of the number - 123
Guess No 1 - 456
Result : Bagels -- None of the digits match.
Guess No 2 - 345
Result : Pico -- The 3 matches, but is in the wrong place.
Guess No 3 - 543
Result : Fermi -- The 3 matches, and is in the right place.
Guess No 4 - 321
Result : Pico Pico Fermi -- The 3 and 1 match, but are in the wrong place, and the 2 matches and is in the right place.
You have to get a Pico Pico Pico to win the game!
4. The fewer guesses you make to win, the game engine recognises you as a better player.
