War Room 2 for Android
App keeps crashing
Everytime there is an update I large patch I have to reinstall. Its a bit slugest and the rules being only in PDF is a pain. That being said there no way I could play without it has and continues to a very important part of the game. Before waroom 1 it took alot more time and to make list and plan your next purchases. Thanks
All-in-all it's a great app, but you guys are bastards. When the original War Room first came out, I bought all the factions. When I had to rebuy them for this app, I decided to buy just the ones I owned. I stopped playing for awhile because I just didn't have the time to invest in a game, and need space on my tablet and I uninstalled War Room on a temporary basis and now have to REBUY THEM AGAIN! That's a level of greediness I expect from Games Workshop, but not you Privateer. Not you.
I buy the physical Khador cards for $20 and you invalidate them. I buy the $80 Ultimate Bundle in War Room 2 and now you say EVERYONE can have the same cards for FREE at your website. Forget you PP!
Unable to purchase the Skorne deck, but all the bundles that include it are purchaseable just fine. Contacted tech support, more than 2 weeks later now and no response beyond "I will look into it". I only play one faction and will not be paying $60+ CAD for decks I'll never use. Very disappointed that Ill have to lug around and constantly update physical cards because their App team cant be bothered to deal with an appstore issue.
It crash on start, after each update!
As promised, rating has been adjusted now that Android audio bug has been resolved on Galaxy S7 Edge
Why should i have to pay for all of the card a second time
Worth using just for list building
I can't add warbeasts in my trollbloods army
Better then warroom 1
It almost works
Amazing, although I wish there was a toggle for playtest/CID rules
It's all right. For the price though I would expect it not to be such a resource hog. It stalls and lags quite often and will crash at least once while building a list. This is on a Galaxy S4.
Brilliant game aid and great for planning.
Works for me...
Tasty!
The app is incredibly handy, and the rules updates being live is awesome too. My only complaint (having it on both my Android tablet and my iOS phone) is that the PDF viewing is really REALLY slow on the Android. So slow that I usually either look up the rules on my iPhone (which has no problems, other than a tiny screen) or switch to the Kindle app and look at it in the PDF of the rules digest. It's a minor complaint since the rules are free now. But it is pretty annoying. I have submitted a bug report for it.
I am not happy about that I bought my cards in war room one two weeks before the cut off that they gave you the cards and there was no hey if you wait to buy Cards and then you get them in the war room 2 so why should I buy him again
Great for creating a list and playing but anytime I check a rule like slam it asks to download pdf for 3 years. Best for setting up to play but apparently keep ur rule book around if you want to find out about an interaction
Audio bug been there forever now, app is slow as hell to load pdf. I'd use something else if possible.
cannot be used when server is not responding, shows debug console, absolute unprofessional software, with a PAYWALL, shame
Very handy app.
My only complaint is the PDF is very very slow and choppy.
Like others say, extremely battery hungry. Which needs addressed now that PP isn't printing cards anymore and expects you to use the app more. Also, the rules section of the app is a farce. It pulls up a hard to browse and sluggish pdf of the rule book instead of the sleek and useful rules references of Warroom1.
After months of using the app, I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars. The App takes some getting used to but now I love to use it. On occasion wonky things happen but this is rare now. Online games are one of it's best features. Try it out next time you play if you haven't already.
A very useful app that would be useful on a tablet. On a phone though it is rather irritating, sucking up battery like crazy even on minimum settings. App slows to a crawl occasionally, and given it is text and pictures should NEVER happen
Useful, and functional once you've got the hang of it. Has a really poorly made UI and takes up far too much storage for what it does. Not user friendly.
Terrible battery consumption, poor performance on multiple high end devices, delicious crashes, slide show access to PDF rules.... At this point it's no surprise.
App fails to load on start. No compatibility info. For an app that is intended to ultimately replace paper cards I'm not going to spend money on digital card packs even if they are dynamically updated. Update: 23/01/17; After contacting Tinkerhouse games, (took two emails to get a response!), I got his response: "We're not sure why it won't run on your hardware in particular. We also don't have access to one to troubleshoot the issue. I'm afraid I don't have any more insights than that." What stunningly bad response to a customers problem! No, can We have error logs of your device. No, we'll try to run it on another device running 4.4.4, as minimum spec is Android 4 it should work... So at least we'll know it's the device or custom ROM from HP causing the issue. No we'll contact HP for you to see if they can replicate the problem, or offer advice. Utterly shocking lack of customer service or care that their product works. I do hope Privateer Press is taking notes before they do take WarmaHordes fully careless!
Great information and utility. It helps make matches so much easier. I use it all the time in my games, list building, and general studies of the game.
Useful app. Power hungry still.
I use this app all the time.
The only official app for Warmachine.. love getting all the updates.
App just keeps getting better. Much more useful and fun than cards.
Could be a useful tool - IF you have the time an patience to tolerate the learning curve. The pop-up "tips" are dense and require numerous read-throughs to make sure you understand them, and in general Warroom 2 is lousy with obscure, arcane icons without description.
The recent news by pp makes it clear physical cards will become crumbersome and impractical. Of course, an app is the best solution. However, this app is not it. War room is slow for what little it does, it is supposed to be a simple app, and in a sense, it works. But it is slow on even decent tablets, crumbersome, and a battery hog. That, and the cards are really on the higher end of the cost spectrum. Now, ill havecto bear with the cursed app. Not all is disappointment , i actually hope they fix the app.
This app takes a long time to start, and requires restarting more than I'd like. That said, it's very well done.
Failure to initialise due to hardware...I have a brand new Lenovo tab3 8 and it's plenty able and he android 6.0. please fix asap.

This app is a very good tool for warmachine, but it is definitely an indie app with a AAA skin, great for dojo'ing lists, but sluggish to use in game, especially on deathclock
