Word Slice is a highly addictive word game. It's a two-minute tournament where you compete against everyone else on the same board, at the same time, anytime.
Interested? Here's a quick how-to-play:
You are given a 4x4 grid of letters. Your objective is to find words in the grid by joining adjacent letters. It's that simple. Each word carries a score and at the end, your scores are tallied and displayed along with scores from others all over the world. You get a rank as well as a percentile to see how well you did.
Battle it out to become the top player in the word!
Each board is unique and is guaranteed to have at least one common word greater than or equal to 12 characters in length. In addition, there will be a minimum of 120 common words in each board. This makes sure that irrespective of your experience, you will be able to find words and have fun, not sit idly because you can't see any words.
You can choose to go for the top-score longest word, earn scoring bonuses by finding other long words or even try to find the most words possible!. How you play and choose to compete is up to you!
Real-time results include words you found and missed - both common and obscure, words found per second, average word score, and average word length. In addition, you also can view how a word can be made on the grid by just tapping on it. Or you can tap a letter in the grid to view all possible words that can be made with that letter.

What's more is that you can, at any time, see a live status of the current ranking of players based on any category you want !

This is a good game, but I think there are not enough players yet to populate the leaderboards. UI could be better. Not the best word game of this style I've seen on the market.

Love game but often doesn't load server and in achievements doesn't recognise the 30 second off line games so can never complete all the achievement s would give 5stars otherwise

this game is not upto the mark as user interface in game while playing isn't good sometimes it doesn't include word even if i touch it and maximum time it doesn't show rankings highly disappointed

I.give 5 stars because I play it daily,,,there are no levels that you cant pass,,you only can improve your game on this app by exercising your mind with Wordslice.....The words are already there, ,,you find them, rather than creating your own word with what they give u.& you can shuffle letters anytime.AwesomeApp

Few bugs to be fixed. I started with a Word Slice account, then to G+ account, now only my word slice stats are shown on home page and do not update. Also I've changed settings to public, but my results are not showing in public... Sensitivity of letters could be improved a bit too. Good fun, but not as polished as Wordament at this stage. Edit: OK so it updates stats, but only after you close it completely and reopen etc.

Very nice UI. Online mode seems broken. But, game statistics do not work online. Only when offline and playing against myself. Would be 5 stars if stats worked and there weren't hundreds of other versions of the same game already available. Really enjoy the interface and quality. Get the stats working and I'll download again.

Sometimes letters unselect when trying to complete a word. Should make selection box a little smaller or smarter not to do that. Very frustrating to do long words. Wish there was a total number of words possible displayed on game screen. Update: seems like the dev put in smarter box selectors, so my rating got changed to 4 stars.

I like the game alot, it's an Android version of Wordament. But the statistics views after a game seem quite broken. The list of found words often lists only 10% of the actual count, and the list of not-found words is full of gibberish. Also the game grid is quite sluggish; I often miss words because the game can't keep up with swiping.
