CounterSpy™ for Android
Honestly, the best stealth game on the market. Very balanced gameplay, you earn cash quickly, and the weapons aren't over priced. There's only one bug I've found, and it's that sometimes when you point your gun at an officer, he doesn't surrender. I was at DEFCON 2 the first time this happened, and he killed me when I was aimed at him. Put me on DEFCON 1. Art style is beautiful though
So close. Gameplay is excellent, but the controls are unpredictable. Sometimes I'll be taking cover, and trying to aim, and instead of pulling out my gun, the controls do nothing for a while, and then I suddenly pop out of cover. This ruins the experience; but there is great potential here. Also, some levels are almost impossible.
Slick style for sure. I love the cold war retro vibe. Using an nVidia Shield Tablet K1 and the controls could use some help. It's a little frustrating when you can't aim properly or you swipe and get killed because it didn't react fast enough.
Now keeps crashing on my Motorola G. Completely unplayable. I can only assume you've updated the game, since it worked before I uninstalled it to save space, and I've tried clearing cache, and ‘killing' all apps and non-needed processes. Please fix as it was a good game. Also please give alternative control scheme as the current one is quite COUNTER-intuitive. Seriously though, please at least add controller support.
Really like the graphical style being used here but can't stand how clunky the controls are. Add to that the laggy and unresponsive feel and you have a game that's pretty much unplayable. On screen buttons may remedy this. Till then 2 stars for style only.
Hats off to Sony for making a game that is thoroughly thought out. Great mobile controls allow for easy shooting, running, climbing, hand-to-hand fighting and more! Strategy, not just speed add to the "spy game" experience... And best of all; NO IN-APP PURCHASES!!! SAY WHAT? That's right, old-school self-contained, one-time purchase model make this a must-have game! Kudos to Sony!
This is awesome, I love the cold war aesthetic, character design, comical collectables, the 2D sneaking and the defcon timer is a great aspect. The controls are well thought out and I've never had any problems with them. An absolute must for fans of sneaking games! Also the lack of in app purchases is very refreshing!
Neat art direction, great soundtrack, funny lines. This game is a good one! Taking off one star for the limited number of level possibilities and moreso the bugs (pause in the middle of a level to answer the phone or check another app and you'll return to a reset game).
The artwork is fantastic. So is the soundtrack. Not much of a story but good setting. The gameplay is pretty fun, except it's just too hard. I got Game Over twice, each time right at the end, on EASY! So frustrating. Negative experience because of it. If not for the steep difficulty, this would be one of the first games I'd recommend to friends. Ran great on my 2013 Moto X.
At first the touch controls take a bit of getting used to. But after a while you really get used to them. They really do make the most sense for this type of game. Game is a great version of the PS3/PS4 version and I love the account sync so I can discover and buy new weapons and formulas between devices.
The game itself was an amazing play, but when your have only half the game to play on mobile...it's not exactly a "good port". And by half content, I mean there's an entire US map that you're supposed to be able to play on. Think of it as a second map generator: instead of snowy Russian bases, dry, barren US Area 51 bases.
Caveat: my phone has always hated my fingers. Thus controls frequent do not do I was intending to do. Outside of that, I love this game. If only I could just make it through a level without jumping instead karate chopping...
It's a good game with very good cell shaded graphics. Amazing concept and gameplay, not to mension a fantastic soundtrack. The only problem is the controls, the loss of a button controls makes controlling the spy difficult. It it was changed to joystick movement (button controls) instead of gesture movements, it would make it a 5 star. Make it an option to change it to a preferred control scheme.
After getting this game on ps4 for free from PlayStation plus (thanks) I fell in love with it and couldn't stop playing it. When I saw this on the app store I bought it without hesitation and love it more now. Great game and recommended it to everyone.
Only problem I have with this game is that it says that I have gotten all weapon blueprints in the store but when I look at profile and blueprints it shows 5 more blueprints. I have beaten the game on every difficulty and gotten all dossiers but still those are locked. Want to know how to get those, but other than that terrific game. Great use of 5 bucks.
I've played this game before, many times and it plays well on my samsung sIII. It previously charged me twice but within 10 minutes, it refunded me so everything's alright now.
I love stealth games. But that doesn't mean I won't give it a fair rating. Stealth works properly as it should. Sort of. The only thing I have to complain about is that the detection radius does not work as it should. But I do like the weapons and formulas that you get. It lags a bit sometimes and it crashes and random times. But I rate this game a 9 out of 10
The controls surely need some tweaking (or an option to choose virtual buttons). And the need to own PS3/4/Vita to unlock some features is a letdown. And immersive mode should be supported! EDIT: The last levels aren't stealth at all. It's just a shooter and VERY bad one! Also the framerate drops significantly
Fantastic game 5 stars for me. Like anything new the control scheme takes some getting used to. But once you do you'll be blazing through the levels. Don't pass this one up.
This has become my favorite game. It's 2:36 AM and I'm still wanting to play it more. Highly addictive.
Loved the game and graphics!! The kills, story, missions, everything nicely done but one issue is that it's a bit slow, and when controls don't respond sometimes it lags for like 5 seconds and then goes back to normal. Please fix some bugs plus the controls!! Will rate 5/5 for sure
Fun and challenging game. Feels like a combination of Castlevania and Splinter Cell with a dash of rogue-like level generation. Low price and no in app purchases are icing on the cake. Don't shoot officers!
Great graphics and fun story. The game doesn't force close on my HTC One M7, so I don't know what people are complaining about. Good job Sony!!!
I'll start of with I love this game. I love Metroidvania games and this is like my most favorite Shadow Complex. HOWEVER I can't enjoy this game with crappy control with a Bluetooth controller. Fix this
This is what I call a spy game. I have wanted to get this one last year but never did until it went on sale recently. What a (steal) deal!
This is a terrible game, if you fail one mission YOU have to start ALL OVER AGAIN FROM THE BEGINNING LIKE WHEN YOU FIRST INSTALLED THE GAME. And the missions are incredibly hard, which makes it impossible to complete. I haven't even talked about the controls yet, they're trash, they're not responsive, not tactile not anything except trash. And this is really expensive for a mobile game too. Absolute trash.
Love the art style, music, SFX, gameplay, and controls. Game can be played in short sessions of about 5 to 10 minutes. These sessions all worked towards a bigger mission. Each level is randomly generated with different enemies and hidden passages. Upgrades are obtain through finding documents and secrets. Need to play strategically and not rush it. Not for those who just like to run and mind-numbingly blash things. No ads, no in game purchases. Great game for a small price. Must buy!
But the controls are a little iffy I perfer more of a d pad or analog stick feel to it but none the less a really good game I love the art style. Also the music is perfect.
Simply awesome

Just too hard for me to enjoy it. You get shot by people you cannot even see on screen. It's fun for a while though.
The first few missions of this game are fantastic. The controls are perfectly adapted to touchscreens, and the game has some clever mechanics in play. Unfortunately the later stages are awfully designed and ruin the entire experience. You'll occasionally walk into rooms blind and be immediately spotted by guards. The game also makes the cardinal sin of stealth games by increasing the difficulty by throwing more and more enemies at you, or force you into killing large numbers of guards at once.
Stealth Inc is straight up fun. Great challenge, procedural generation and a unique art style make this game stick out above all the F2P trash littering the play store. Highly recommended.
For the most part, you're getting the same experience as the PS3/PS4/PSVita game, which is already fun. Nice visual style, fun spy gameplay, changing maps, and now it's just $1! A total steal to me! Though, it's not all perfect: Since this was a controller-based game turned into an all-touch-based game, controls can be a bit wonky. There isn't even a virtual d-pad: It's all based on swipe/hold/tap gestures, which can be clumsy. And that's no good when you're supposed to be stealthy and you accidentally cause more attention to yourself. It will take some getting used to, but boy will your defcon level go up. Also cool is that you can share progress across devices, even PlayStation, although it's not entirely explained. Overall: Fun PlayStation-quality game to-go and on-the-cheap!
The game is very interesting but the touch screen control is horrible. I spent 99% of the time died because I cannot get the touch screen to react properly to what I need to do to defeat the enemies. Giving the game only 2 stars rating because of horrible touch screen control. What the developer of this game should do is add a virtual analog control on the screen controls the character movement and virtual attack button to attack/shoot. I have playing other classic arcade games such as King of Fighters that use such control style which works quite well.
With amazing art style, as well as sound, this game astounds. Little to no story, unless you are a history buff, fails to drive home the purpose of the character's espionage. Doomsday Clock, def con level, is the undeniable biggest flaw in the whole experience & will definitely ruin it for most people. Fighting against it is engaging but the loss of your progress upon failure to appease the countdown, that's just cold. Kind of want my 5 bucks back even though I love it. Buy at own risk.
CounterSpy is a nice game but it has some issues that hurts it's overall performance. The controls can be nasty at sticking. It's especially glaring when you successfully aim at a target and attack only for your agent to do nothing as the control gets stuck. And then sometimes there is a delayed reaction where your inputted command happens seconds after. The game has difficulty registering whether you are holding a button or tapping it. Good game overall but could be better. As well the game can quickly feel repetitive, as there's a very finite number of random level builds.
Very Nice Graphics and Sounds too, Totally Addicted! Highly Recommended!
