Homescapes for Android
You guys need to just give more moves in every level. It just gets extremely tough without power ups after level 40. And you guys should reduce the price of power ups because they are not worth 1900 coins. And for starting the next day you should not charge a star. You should keep the levels a bit easy till lvl 150 at least and then moderate and then hard. That is why candy crush is a popular game. You guys should learn from others. Otherwise a great game to play
I still love Gardenscape more but this is such a close second that they almost share the same spot! The new elements like the new Rainbow Blast and laying down the carpet are a lot of fun! Can't wait to move on to the next room and for the first event! The only thing I have to say to Austin, why don't you buy the house from your parents? Lol! LOVE THIS GAME!
I love these kinds of games, and I love having the choices to improve the home. I'm always using my lives in this game to progress further, and I get a sense of excitement when I collect enough stars to do something. Despite this, this game is so much harder than the original gardenscapes. Usually, the levels remain at an achievable standard for a decent amount of levels, but this game seemed to get very hard very quickly. Some levels takes days to achieve, making it a more frustrating experience than relaxed.
I like this game but it's just like any other game out there, a money pit. Be prepared to either spend hours sometimes days on a level unless you buy power ups. You win 50 coins, sometimes a few more, for each level you pass but it cost 900 coins to buy power ups or to continue a level once you run out of moves. Takes forever to build up 900 coins. Just once it would be nice to find a good game that wasn't a blatant grab for money.
This game is better than I was expecting it to be. Much better than Gardenscapes. But by lvl 50, it gets nearly impossible to pass unless you make a flooky move. Would be nicer if you only had to wait 15mins for an additional life rather than 30mins. How can you stay interested in a game you can't play and there is nothing to entertain me in the meantime. As a developer, you take the risk of losing gamers because you are giving them a chance to forget about the game.
The renovations of the mansion are fun. To earn stars to do reno or buy stuff is difficult. I am at level 24 and after 3 days I can not pass it. The fact that we have a limited number of moves makes it very difficult, if not impossible. This way it is oriented for younger players, with faster reflexes not players of all ages or will slower actions. Please improves this feature of the games, make it more accessible to earn stars.
It's more easier with just 1 or 2 stars to complete the task rather than the gardenscapes you have to get more stars just to finish the task and then wait for things to build, call builders and other stuff. This game is more practical, I hope with gardenscapes it will be the same with this. Hopefully it will not be as hard as passing each level. 900 is way to big to buy extra move.
I couldn't wait for homescapes today! I downloaded it when I got out of work this evening, and been playing it ever since. It's so addictive! It's also one of those games that you could sit back after a long day and just relax and get some renovations done to Austin's childhood home. I love it!, It's a comparison to gardenscapes but also think your rewarded with more. Thank you for the new challenge I'm excited to see further into the game..
I dont understand why this game is so hard. I appreciate your efforts. Graphics, dialogues are really good. I cant have fun while ı am playing the game because of the difficult levels. Also, it can be better to add something. For example, we can gain a bomb or colorful power ups after using certain bombs like gardenscapes, you can increase the moves. So, we can pass the levels easily with these improvements and we can have fun. I hope you will improve and update the game.
Really nice game. Graphics are Superb!! Storyline is cute. Only problem I have had to spend real money on a so called free game to pass one of the puzzles to move on to the next game. Should have a way to skip a puzzle or put a different one there instead of making you go for days trying to pass that one puzzle or buy with real money a bomb to use to get past it. It was the same way with Gardenscapes...I finally just deleated that game. May have to delete this one too if that keeps up. Ashame because it's a cute game.
Your games - this one and Gardenscaprs- would be fun if you didn't make it so hard to do anything. You have to have a star - or 2- just to do anything, even end a day or start a new one. That is insane, especially when you make it so freaking hard to complete a board to get a star. I have to play the same board for weeks on end just to get one star so I can do something... what's the freaking point? You take all the fun out of playing a game... make it more like fishdom andc I'll improve the rating...
Fun, simple, rewarding. I like how you are able to refurnish the house while solving puzzles. It gives you a nice moment of pause for you to enjoy your little reward after each puzzle. I also like how there are various combinations for you to play with, and then finally seeing everything come together as a whole. Not only that, it has story dialogues and in addition, nice little bonus conversations at the side, which make the whole gameplay quite a joy. Overall, I think it is fun, but it does tend to get a little slow at times, but I guess that's alright.
I was already playing Gardenscapes ans having a great time with that. I figured Homescapes would be the same game except you would be renovating a home, but they changed aspects of the game just enough to make it different enough to be just as addictive and exciting. I love it! I love the way the special moves work and how on some levels the board is part of the challenge. The only thing I dislike is that now I'm playing 2 games wayyy to much instead of getting things done.... adulting is HARD
So far the game is better than gardenscapes with better boosters making it easier to pass levels. We'll see if it stays that way (I gave up on gardenscapes when I tried one level 40+ times and couldn't beat it).The reason for the 4 stars is I can't move this to the sd card and a game this size should be moveable.
It would be better if you didn't have to wait forever to gain lives, not to mention you get 1 ★ each time...why?! That makes me lose interest quickly. I can never build up ★ to do more tasks. Fix the star issue, change wait time on lives, and you shouldn't charge $900 for lives when you only get $50 each board. Fix that too. I like the concept, but you definitely fell very short on this. Not enough awards, bonuses etc.. You just want $$$
I suggest that you should make the levels easier or give us free power ups or have more moves. at first I could complete a few days of the story in less than 1 day but now from lvl 50 onwards I can take more than 3days just to complete 1 level and it's not helping me because most of the quest requires 2stars to do... other than that, the game is very interactive and fun for all ages!
After doing a level you only earn "1" star. It doesn't matter if it's a hard level or easy. The stars are what buys the room decorations. And if you want to extend the game you can pay 900 coins the first time and 1900 if you want to continue the current game your on. You do earn coins but can go through them fast. Love graphics and story line as well as decorating. Just seems like you should be able to earn more than 1 star per level.
I don't like that you have to do these silly tasks like ordering a taxi, opening mail. It should be that when the room is refurnished, you move on to the next one. & Have the choice to choose which area you want to do next, or be able to change the area at any time, & go back to it at a later date. Don't like this new day where you have to complete s game to move on. It should not have this, + buying more lives should be alot cheaper, as 900 is way too much. Please change theses issues, as it will make the game more appealing to play. Overall it's a nice game.
I love this game is very unique and fun to play I love the fact it's like home design which makes it very unique the only downside is you can't go back and do a level again after you have beaten it. It would be so much more fun if you had a chance to redo levels that you have once completed. So when you run out of things to do you can always go back and redo levels you have done before while waiting for new levels to be developed. Otherwise love the game!
So far so good. You don't have to ask other people for stuff to be able to go to the next level and as long as you beat the game part and keep your lives you can play for hours if you want to. You don't get to play 20 minutes, then have to wait a whole day to play again. Thank you for that...... You should add in a gifting thing on Facebook where you can send and receive boosters and coins. That would be greatly appreciated.
I am hooked on Austin The Butler! There are many match games out there - this one is more challenging (but not impossibly so), and the character of Austin and helping him renovate spaces, making a few design decisions along the way, is fun and more interesting than simply beating levels. The little interactions with him when you click on objects is charming. Homescapes on one device and Gardenscapes on another, Simon's Cat when I run out of lives - I'm set with time killers. Great fun!
I absolutely love garden scapes. This one is ridiculously tough after you pass the first few stages. It's almost impossible to pass levels without the power ups and there's no daily wheel to earn those power ups. It's a beautiful game and great concept but I won't be spending insane amounts of money to barely progress. Spending 20 more lives to beat a level for one star is crazy.
It's a very good story, love the fact you get to choose which upgrades you want. The games are so hard almost making you have to buy coins for the power ups with actual money. I'm only on level 26 and can hardly get through the levels without power ups. They (power ups) cost a lot of money to get more, and you can't ask friends to help, other than giving you life. If they fixed this I would enjoy it much more.
I love Gardenscapes and play it all the time constantly. Now I have Homescapes to play constantly when I'm stuck in Gardenscapes. xD Just like it's predecessor this game is cute, fun, has funny dialogue and interesting characters that make the whole game come together on top of the match-3 element that everyone loves you get to design a mansion! House designing games have always been a favorite of mine as well so to have these 2 games I'm loving it. :3 Strongly recommend both these games to all ages for hours of fun every day.
The game is fun and the graphics are good. My only issue like so many others is they make the levels very difficult to pass unless you spend money. I'm only on level 50 something and it's taking me awhile to pass each level. Even similar games have easy and hard levels to give you a break and still let you advance. This one just seems to be hard level after hard level.
Absolutely splendid. I can't say enough about how much I love this game-- and this is coming from someone that usually doesn't typically swap-and-match games! The story is rich, the characters are thought-out, and there's so much more than meets the eye. If you liked Gardenscapes, you're going to adore this one. I'm giving good ol' Austin and the gang two (green) thumbs up. (Har har)
This game was a fun challenge.... Until you hit the mid 20s, where is becomes nigh impossible to complete levels without purchasing power up. Super cute storyline, but just not worth spending a couple bucks every few levels to continue the game. If the game had a straight price of $8-$10 or so, and the game play was actually do able, I think this would be really great.
This game is amazing! I literally have been waiting for y'all to put out a new game. I'm lvl 1505 on Gardenscapes and 53 on this one so far! These are highly entertaining game and I hope you make another one! You people who say you HAVE to spend money to move on are dilusional. These games are meant to be challenging! Fork up the money to move on or learn how to play puzzles better :) overall, two amazing games!
Don't think you get enough coins for completing each level, considering how many it costs for boosters. I have already bought some but they didn't last long so won't be doing that again! Other than that I am addicted, it is something a bit different and very fun. Can't wait to see the mansion when it is finished!
Great game absolutely love it, Great graphics, lovely story and great fun. Some levels are really challenging but that's what makes a game great, it would be no fun if the levels were all easy. The problem I have is that it has stopped giving me lives and the counter just keeps going round and round. Please help as have spent a lot on coins and don't want to uninstall it.
It's definitely addictive. I can sit and play the game for hours. The games challenging enough to keep my attention. The only negative I have is that everything costs so many coins. If you run out of power-ups or can't beat the level it cost too much to buy. I recommend lowering the cost to make it cheaper so you don't need to spend all this money to keep going.
As most gamers before me have stated, it takes to long to build up stars, to long to wait for lives to be renewed. Love Austin the butler and the way he interacts but it is just to difficult to progress. Not sure if I will continue unless some of these issues are sorted. Might try Garden scape in the interim, or go back to Candy crush which I love and have been playing for years.
I enjoy the game, but you don't get enough coins and at the end of a level and I don't like that there's only one way to get stars. Plus when you finish a day, your reward isn't very big. Some of these levels are quite hard and have taken me a couple of days! Even with the power ups! The rewards don't match up with the amount of time and money you end up spending on this game.
I thought with higher reviews it would be good but they get such high reviews from the graphic portion which yes are good, and the game would be fun if you could progress, but there are levels in the very beginning of the game that are unbeatable without spending money and there is no way around it not even a way to earn coins on the side and play puzzles once your out of life you dont get to play at all!! Waste if a download it will be deleted!!
I love this game is addictive lol. I will stay up late just to get more levels done. It's a good passer time if yur bored or just wanting something to do.. the only thing I would add is more
Cool app but will make you wait... 30mins is wayyyyy....to long for one life to be refilled. Like others have stated this app wants you to spend cash. Its cool an all but not that cool. Other then that if you're just passing time from another game(MyCafé) then you can play this one, then leave and by the time you come back, lives will be refilled! No money spent!!!!!
I was so impressed with this game when I first started playing! Couldn't put it down! The graphics are awesome and it's really fun to play. The major downfall is how hard you have made the levels past level 40.. I have to admit I have spent some money on power ups just to get past certain levels.. kinda takes the fun out of it and I think I'm gonna stop playing unless the levels get any easier which I'm guessing they don't..
Unnecessarily hard. Why make some levels unbeatable? You have to use all your lives, multiple times to try and get through one level just to perform half of a task. Not given enough moves to clear a level. I just want to play the game and enjoy it but playing unbeatable levels over and over ruins it. It's a shame, I would really love this game if I could play it, but like this it's not worth the time.
I REALLY like this game! Just too hard to do. You should give a little more incentive to continue playing. You don't "earn" enough money to continue when you beat a level. 56 cents to 67 cents average win, now compare that to having to buy bonuses. Most tasks are 2 stars to complete. That's a lot when you can hardly beat a level. I would recommend a better bonus system similar to your fishdom game. I have bought coins, but can no longer justify this. Thank you for your time.

At first I was skeptical because I thought the house in question was the mansion from Gardenscapes. Kept asking why a whole other game had to be made for an addition that probably should have been put in from the beginning. But now that I know its a completely different house and I get to spend time learning more about my new little butler buddy and his family, I love it! I hope thst one day we'll be able to rebuild the Gardenscapes Mansion just like we are to this one!!
