It should be possible to undo purely deterministic phases. In real life play, I frequently move my cards and undo my movements. Maybe tournaments ban that, but it is much more enjoyable in friendly games. Each phase which does not involve a die role should allow you to undo everything you just did. (Unsummon, unplayable event cards, etc...)

A true conversion of the brilliant boardgame. Well worth the small price, I hope that the rest if the games cards get converted across in the future. A few slight issues that it crashes from time to time and the dice rolls can be very random at times.

Loved it on my LG G3, unfortunately I have not been able to play it of my galaxy s6. Every time I start the app, it launches to a black screen with music and that's it. Can't do anything in that state.

I really love the game as it brings a lot of new meaning to my strategic understanding lol... I even bought all the expansion packs you guys are offering but the problem was when I am not connected to the internet, all the purchased expansion packs are not working... can somekne please help me fix this? Thanks

When I saw that there was an app for this, I jumped at the chance to play regular games with distant friends. But I can neither create a Playdek account nor attempt to log into one - as soon as I click out of the digital keyboard after typing in my info, all of my text disappears. In my excitement, I purchased all the content before I tested if I could get online. It has been two weeks, and still can't even log in. Would like a refund.

Galaxy s6 won't even start. Black screen. Gave up waiting for update - uninstalled. It's not like this is a rare smartphone...

Love this game. Sadly it no longer works on Android. Hopefully Playdek will fix it - they've been doing stellar work on ios and hope they can do the same on Android. - - - Seems to be working again - with visual glitches - since upgrading to Marshmallow.

I hate this game, I suck at it. But it's really good at the same time. Makes you think and is very challenging.

Plays music, but only shows a black screen. I installed the app on my small tablet and bought all of the in-app purchases. The game was too hard to see everything effectively, so I installed it on my larger tablet: Lenovo Tab 2. All I get is a black screen. After buying the Master Set IAP, and the 9 Faction IAP, I am totally unable to play the game. What a waste of money!

I can play the game now! There are still several bugs and server issues but I'll take it for now.

App works well; has come a long way since the touch issues at the beginning. However, purchased decks are completely unavailable (they act as if they haven't been purchased) when offline. This is a pretty terrible for a wi-fi only tablet.

Die rolls do not appear random. All event cards are not in the deck at the beginning of the games. Expansion cards not available. Glitches in magic pile count. On your turn of the game crashes on your roll of three or higher, when you restart the game it automatically re-rolls to 2 or 1. Hits of 6 on an Ice Wall will not do damage. Event card Freeze requires 2 magic to free Summoner; however, the game subtracts three magic. Programmers are hacks. It's a great board game to play in person AND this app is nothing like it. This app is more like a casino...house always wins.

Had ALL sets on a previous device. Installed and logged in for online play, no problem. Went to the store and tapped Restore Purchases. No effect. Thanks a lot.

Only get black screen with music on any Samsung Galaxy Device.

I am so very annoyed with this app. I have a Playdek account, and it works in their other apps just fine, but I cannot for the life of me login to Summoner Wars for online play. The login form resets without any notification as to why each time I tap Login. I've also tried to create an account, but the same reset of the form happens when I tap I Agree. Therefore I am unable to play this game online at all.

(Updated one more time, now that login and startup issues seem to be resolved.) Lot of fun! But be prepared for frustration, too. A lot of dice are involved in making strategies come off. And because of the interface, sitting there while virtual dice are rolled to undo all of your best intentions can be agonizing. That said! A great way to get a subset of the sprawling options in Summoner Wars available to you on the go. The "Alliances" master set hasn't yet been incorporated, but there's access to the original and "Master Set" factions, including expansions and second summoners.

Functionally speaking, Summoner Wars for android is solid. It does a great job of emulating the real life CCG/Board Game. The interface is easy to figure out and use. It does sick that there aren't more armies available for a cheaper deal, but it's cheaper still than buying all the physical expansions. Bottom line: You can't go wrong downloading this game.

Been waiting for this game to be released in android since Ascension! Been playing this in iPad before but finally it's here! However, it seems that this game is not compatible yet with Samsung S6 Edge.... with the black screen and sounds and whatnot...

I love the strategy that is involved with the game, but my only complaint is the decks that I purchased are unavailable to use when I am not using WiFi. I don't know if it's my device, but I find it annoying having spent that money and being unable to use any army TRULY offline.

I downloaded this app on two devices, a galaxy S6 and a galaxy tab 4. On the s6, as others have noted, it opens to a black screen with music playing. On the tab 4, it is playable but still not without issues. If the screen locks while the app is in use, it crashes once I unlock it. I really like the game, and actually have the physical set, but the app is pretty buggy on some devices.

This is an absolutely excellent game. I could spend days going on about how great it is, and if you're on the fence, I would wholeheartedly suggest that you get this or the physical copy. This is cheaper, so that's something to consider, *but* the app crashes/freezes. A lot. This is annoying. You also *can not* select decks you've purchased while offline. This winds up meaning that if you're not able to get wifi, you can only play the Phoenix Elves, which is fine if you like them but I don't. I give four stars to this one. The app is only barely 3, but the game is a solid resounding 5. So, 4 stars for the joining of the two, but it really should be 5...

Nexus 6 / lollipop 5.1. Can't start if in airplane mode. Can't start without having to cancel Google play connections. The game is long and I keep losing my progress because of this crash.

I did rate this app highly. But changed my rating to one star as this does not load on my Samsung S6. just comes up with black screen when starting the app - this is more irritating as I have paid for additional armies. This needs to be fixed

When I last reviewed this game, it had many problems, most of which have since been fixed. The only current issues are the seemingly frequent and random game crashes on over 4 different devices from the iPad 3 to the lg g3. The Samsung s6 cannot even use this game yet, as the the screen stays completely black through loading and menu selections (which can be heard, just not seen). Overall though, it is a pretty fun game with many races to choose from. Though I will love it even more when they introduce the expansion decks for each race.

Just got a Samsung Galaxy S6 and download this, since they had new factions. App launches to a black screen with music and doesn't work.

Firstly, I love summoner wars the board game. However, this app is broken so please don't spend money on it until or if it is fixed. I have purchased all factions and can tell you not all cards work the way they ought to. E.g in the cloaks and deep dwarves decks some units are clearly ranged but the game won't let you use them as ranged but treats them as mêlée. This destroys the strategy element and is a huge issue for me. Secondly, even though I have purchased the decks in the master set I can't play against these factions and I am told there "is no AI for that faction". What? Don't charge for it then! The game has not been play tested to any extent and needs work. If I didn't love the game so much when it does come together I would rate it zero.

The free version basically gives you no options. You have to play with the exact same deck every game, and only against a single deck. I have no problem with the freemium model, but this is basically just a paid app.

I would love this game, but when there's only one race available as default and all purchases are unavailable offline makes this almost unplayable as a mobile game. Such a minor thing totally ruins what would otherwise be a fun game.

Was Playing this on an HTC one, no issues other than occasional hang ups. Moved to the new Note 5, and just get music and a black screen. At least I can still play the physical version. Update 10/5 still just music. Update 12/17. Still no update for the Samsung devices that have been out for half a year now. Pretty disappointing as I love the game.

Love the board game app in current state is useless just gives black screen 5 stars when fixed almost guarenteed

I love this card game and the app and have been playing it for a year. When the master set came out this past summer, the app stopped working correctly on my samsung galaxy s3. But, after they pushed an update in august it works great! I just got a note 5 and the app does not work on it. I'm getting the same error as the people with s6: a black screen with only music. Please fix.

Game is way fun! Interface is unforgiving: events and powers need a 'cancel' option if casting them hasn't affected gameplay, and should ask "Are you sure?" if they will; units with multiple available actions require targeted taps to enact and are difficult to see under your finger, which can result in the wrong action being taken; movement which hasn't activated some power can't be undone, even if the movement phase hasn't ended. Occasional crashes. AI is dumber than a brick. 5 stars if these get fixed.

Crashes constantly. Audio controls don't work. Mediocre UI. But the game is deep and addicting!

Still some delays in between turns. 5 star game once it gets back up to speed. IAP worth every penny.

The game plays well and work smoothly, but I literally cannot sign in or get online at all due to some issue with the ui on android and the default keyboard. I have not been able to find a workaround, and until then online is completely unplayable.

I really enjoy playing this. It really holds true to the board game. However, when trying to play on my Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, it always loads to a blank screen. Please fix! It is a lot more fun on my tablet than my phone. Keep up the good work.

Getting nothing but a black screen on my Note5 and Note II. I don't seem to be the only one having this issue.
