LIMBO for Android
Amazing game. It's challenging, has a great spooky theme, and kept me interested all the way through. I have a handful of games that I've completed, because most get boring, too challenging for a phone game, or there's too many issues with the software. Limbo was an excellent adventure. I can't wait to play the sequel!
One of the best mobile games I've ever played - brilliant in every way. You have to solve physics-based puzzles in a creepy monochrome world. The difficulty is spot on; puzzles seem impossible to start with but are solvable without hints. Sequel please!
I've purchased this game three times now, first for the Xbox 360, then the PS Vita and now for my S7. I was a little hesitant to re-play it again on a cell phone, but the touch controls are highly intuitive. Gorgeous scenery, fun, but sometimes difficult platform puzzles. I would highly recommend the purchase of this game, easily one of the best games available in the play store.
Dark ambiance, immersive, time seems suspended. Only other living beings are running away or trying to hurt the little boy you play. Super Mario meets Tarkovski's Stalker (for lack of other references). This a classic, iconic game across all consoles and OS'.
This is probably my favorite game. Gorgeous graphics, stunning audio, and simply genius gameplay! And with gamepad support thrown into the mix, I can't think of a single way to improve this game. That's really saying something, as I always have some minor gripe with a game. LIMBO is just that good.
Okay i think i dont nees to tell people how good this game is. So just one thing, i use zenfone 3 ze520kl. Some times the frame rate will jump significantly and make the game speed up for a moment. This is annoying couse some time when you need to time your action and the frame rate Jump like. Please fix it thanks
This game is amazing, however I'm not sure why it's so insanely buggy. Really odd things as well, audio is horrible, frames are laggy sometimes and it freezes sometimes. Played this game on a bunch of different Android devices and it's the same thing. Except for iOS, it runs great on that. Weird. Either way this game is awesome, hopefully the dev can clean it up for users sake.
This game has a wonderful concept but you need a thousand lives to finish the game. The puzzles are great but this game requires a ton of timing and precision and tablet screens aren't best for these kind of games, thus resulting in many deaths. Beautiful art work but game is extremely challenging on a tablet.
Seriously, is it that hard to provide on screen buttons? In a game that requires precision timing for jumps, swiping the screen is very troublesome to say the least. Another brilliant game, Leo's fortune, for example, has option to switch between swipe controls and on screen buttons. Why could you not do that? You have to die a hundred times just to clear a checkpoint due to pathetic controls.
Amazing game. Totally worth buying the full version. Removed one star from graphics since it's all black and white. But that's also completely engaging in itself. Some of the stages are really challenging and keep you puzzled. Superb creation. Waiting for the next version, will buy first day itself.
The best game I've played. I have played ALOT of games in my lifetime but none has ever hit me like this. I moves away from story games to more online but playdead just brought story games back. I will 100% have to try out inside. Keep doing what your doing
The game is very well-made and is conceptually interesting. The mobile controls can be finicky and take some getting used to, but they (usually) do not detract from the experience. I highly recommend this game for people who enjoy problem solving.
What the game lacks in story, it makes up for in gameplay, style, and atmosphere. The controls are intuitive and simple, and most of the game is based on a bit of thinking, rather than rapid jumping and running. The stylized graphics are beautiful, making it fun to jump to certain death just to see the violent ways of dying.
It hangs it freezes it crashes I use HTC desire. I think if this is a paid app developers should make sure it never crashes. Though 10 rs is a very very small amount but still if it's a paid app it's developers responsibility that it should not atleast crash and freeze
Completely different from the earlier games that I have played. The game is very smart, but short. The obstacle course is very exciting, but the ending was open ended (Looking at the dark nature of the game, they could have looped the game infinitely. The name would have been more relevant then.) In some areas gaming controls could have more sensitive, but that could be my phone !
It is easily one of the best games I have ever played on my phone. The world is very immersive and it sucks you in without ever having to display a single word on screen. It has doodle-esque graphics which I absolutely love but the game has a really dark undertone to it not only when it comes to visuals but also gameplay which I found very interesting. I just wish the game was a bit longer but I guess they preferred quality over quantity and I can't complain. Kudos to the devs and I hope they make a sequel.
I love the artwork. A quick fun game with very simple controls. The ending wasn't that great though and made me wonder how the boy ended up in the dark world where he is. Limbo 2 coming soon?
It doesn't matter whether the game is good or not if the controls sucks. Get the game on any platform with a controller. I got plenty of Bluetooth controllers but they chose to not support it.
Such fond memories all came back me from such a charming game originally released at such an interesting time in my life. Sadly, it suffers the curse of the mobile port. Consistent freezing followed by audio stutter that ruins the experience. So glad I didn't pay full price for it.
This game can be a bit hard to control at times but is well worth the effort. Whoever thought up some of this clearly has a sick mind but in a good way. Many good puzzles to figure out as your character died again and again.
The look of the game is very atmospheric. It's a pleasure to look at. The levels were great too. Started simply, then added other challenges, such as gravity manipulation. A great all round game. I would definitely buy another from this developer. A very cool ending too.
Lots of glitches. Really. :( I could not even complete the game. I checked on youtube if I was playing it wrong, but it turns out I was doing it right. Plus after a while of playing, the creativity and the trickiness just makes you feel like you had enough.
I love the PC version of this game and I love Playdeads "Inside" but the controls for the Android version of this game are so unresponsive! Very frustrating. Maybe it's my phone but Playdead please get your developer to allow an option to control the character using the volume buttons or something because dying again and again because the touch screen doesn't respond is ruining this otherwise brilliant puzzle platformer for me.
This game is wonderful. The challenges are great and very inventive. The only compliant are the controls. I must've died so many times when swiping to unresponsive controls. Very infuriating, nonetheless immersive and entertaining (for the most part).
This is the best game I've ever played on a mobile device. It's dark and eerie but creepy in a good way. Simple controls, smooth game play and awesome graphics. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in creating Limbo.
I thought it would be a little time killer but I was wrong. Everything about this little platform puzzle game is funtastic. I didn't even bother with the demo. From the reviews and graphics alone I knew it would be something I'd enjoy. I'm half way thru and I already know I'll enjoy it again when I'm done. Take my money! Thanks!!!
Controls don't work on my Galaxy S7... I've played plenty of other games without any issue. I was so excited for this because I played years ago on a PS3. Fix controls or refund everyone complaining of them not working!!!!
And I absolutely love it. It's been a while since I had to think so hard to play a game. It's a true masterpiece. It's a goddamn masterpiece!
Wish I could give it 0 stars. The controls absolutely suck. I'm really disappointed that I didn't know there was a demo until after I bought it. Stupid game. I want a refund.
Great atmosphere. Only a couple of places did I have some issue with controls, but overall very fluid. Nice learning curve. You use the skills you develop as you progress through the game. Some very well thought out puzzles. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Everyone that knows Limbo agrees it is an amazing game, no denying in that. However, this port is poorly optimized. Audio stutters, it freezes and even force closes more than it should.
Great time killer but some parts can be so difficult your stuck on it for weeks making you get bored and frustrated
It's a brilliant game unlike anything I have every played in any genre, platform or gaming era. Elegantly simple graphics, eerie soundtrack with a genuinely challenging experience. People write that they don't like the controls but on a Galaxy S6 edge plus I've had no issue. I think it's mainly that people struggle with the variety of skills and thought processes you have to apply throughout the game which mean you cannot blindly progress through without thinking. Recommended to those wanting to be engaged.
Great game. Really addicting. A bit sadistic ,but not too much. Either way I love this game. I keep going back to it daily. After about 10 minutes with the demo I had purchased the full to support the development. Runs great, initial loading is a bit long but after that there is no loading times so I see why. Works perfect no issues on pixel XL
After a system update on my telephone whenever I open the app there's no audio, quite a shame, considering the excellent work you did with the soundtrack. I don't know if it's due to the app itself or the Android 6.0 update. Whatever the case if it happened to be fixed it would be great. Thank you for your time and attention and keep up the great work! (The phone is the One Plus X )
From all the top ranking fast paced FPS action shooters, highly mechanicalized tower defences and down to all those crazy nitro racing games.....who would have thought i'd be rating this game just as good if not better. Played it...completed it....BLOWN AWAY!! A beautifully designed monochrome puzzle with new ideas and its not just a game, for me, i was immersed, sunk, hypnotized...its a journey! Note: DEVS - we want moreeeeeeeeee!!!!!
Gameplay is easy, controls are smooth and natural (can't understand why so many users are having problems...), puzzles are never too hard nor frustrating. Graphics and atmosphere are those of an absolute masterpiece. Definitely one of the best games the Playstore has ever seen. The quality is comparable to Monument Valley (even though they're two completely different games). For $0.50 it's a steal!
This game obiously had a lore to it and im fine with it being secret, but why can't they give at least a bit of context in the game so that we have something to relate to during this adventure? Also the controls are very wonky. Nice puzzle scheme and creepy overtone though.
Frustratingly difficult at times but a stunning, beautiful game. Some of the puzzles are absolutely mind blowing and have you wondering how did they think of that?.. Then other parts of the game are just out & out creepy!.unexpected traps make you almost jump out of your skin!... one of the best android games out there. congratulations.

The game that spawned a hundred moody black & white side-scrollers. This is the best. The atmosphere wonderful and sinister in a cruel world full of hazards and insta-kill deathtraps. The physics-based puzzles are spot on, and having already played Limbo on console, am happy to say the controls transfer perfectly to touch-screen. I'd forgotten how beautiful this game is. If you've five minutes, or half an hour to kill, this game is perfect at home or on the move. Essential. 5/5
