Just uninstall and install again, the pictures stay in the same order and you will have plenty of taps.....

Building up taps gives you a false sense of security that will all be taken away as the game progresses and becomes more difficult.

My daughter and I play this, we have a lot of fun trying to figure them out together. I do think they should reward you with more than 4 taps when it gets really hard to figure out.
