Captain Thumb

After I worked out that there was no ship to see (that my thumb was the ship) it was all good! Starts fast and goes from there. I'd pay to see it without ads. Excellent time waster.

I love this game so much and downloaded it again a few days ago to my new device. However the game keeps resetting my progress so I have to keep it open and that chows my battery. Then, it glitched so that the bosses fly off the map without apparent reason and I'm left flying through space for ages with nobody to fight. It would go on forever but I exit each time after 5-10 min of nothing but space. Please fix this I'm so disappointed :( I love this game

What a mobile game should be

Quite difficult to start of with but gets better as you go. Only issue I have is it doesn't save my progress so I get to the 4th ship and lose so I gotta start all over again, other than that I love it

Unique gameplay, good music, addicting, free. What more could you ask for?

What does the power up thats not fire power or health mean?

The controls feel really weird at first since shooters like this usually stick a ship out in front of your thumb, but it's a really cool idea and works really well. Definitely want to see updates... This has untapped potential.

Its too difficult to distinguish what is the enemy, what is stuff you can pick up like weapons etc, and what is background as for some unknown STUPID reason its all black and white! What a stupid idea! Still, it was fun for 30 seconds.

The only downside is my phone is too big, so I can't dodge across the entire screen at once very easily.

Fast paced and entertaining, yet simple enough not to take up too much of your time or space on your phone. Also the touch concept is pretty awesome.

Love the idea and slow motion, love the black and white theme. It seems like you guns stop upgrading after a certain point. If so i wish it would have more upgrades for the guns.

Like other have said, your thumbs are part of the game - which makes it almost feel like an old-school game for some reason (in a good way). Agree on adding colors to make objects stand out, but otherwise fantastic for getting the user more involved for each run.

Instead of just adding a digital pad or making you drag an object, having your hand limit its visibility, your finger is the ship and your finger is what has to avoid all the obstacles and enemy fire. Brilliant idea and excellent execution. Just when i thought touch-based gaming had hit a wall and got stuck in a rut, i find this game. if i were to make a suggestion, it'd be nice to see more colors, at the very least to differentiate enemies from asteroids. That's about it. Great job, devs.

This game is addictive and fun. From the start this game provides a challenge. It can be frustrating at times but once u overcome the obstacle you get a feeling of accomplishment. Not a lot of games like this out there.

I didn't ever like a mobile game, but this..this is a masterpiece. I am completely taken by this game. For the first time i liked a mobile game this good. The concept is excellent, graphics are good(i personally liked the black and white tone), gameplay is fantastic, i don't think any game out there make this good use of touch. I would be absolutely delighted to see more superb games like this from this developer.

I'm really picky about touch controls, this game does it right. The gameplay is pretty simple, but looks smooth and clean and easy to understand right away. Plus the nature of the thumb controls introduces some limitations that are interesting rather than frustrating (like how you can shoot straight down, but it's easier to quickly maneuver your ship-thumb to aim at what is below you). Overall, a pretty sweet take on traditional space-shooters using a touch screen.

Sweet and simple, but challenging. LOVE the music. Finger for ship (release for slow-mo), another for shooting. Best game I've found on android yet.

The game itself keeps showing up in portrait mode and doesn't show up in landscape mode and I just really wanna play this game without the problems please & thank you :D

This game is a unique arcade action game and truly a standout form the crowd in today's android games. Small and simple yet so engaging and dynamic. Worth a try.
