Chess Book Study ♟ Pro

Not a bad up but having had chess book study for years now there's not been many improvements and still some problems. For example, Every time I turn on the app I get the Kasparov book by Shiller as a default but even though I try to delete the book it always comes back the next time I use this app. This problem should have been fixed years ago.

Otherwise a great app. This is the only app i purchased. ☺️ Is it possible to epub format in this app? That is the only issue i am facing. Could you please add this feature? Please please please... After updating to Android 7.0 facing some issue... Could u please look into this? Thanks a lot in advance

The best chess study app I have come across. been using this app for over 2 years and is my go-to for my chess study hobby on the Go. This app works by using the e-reader app called eBook droid reader. Together, they allow you to read chess books and follow movements to understand various aspects of Chess strategy. You can also customize position setup and save your games to a pgn file. Awesomeness!

Asim I bought the paid version it works well on all my gadgets except on my 13.3 inch lenovo yoga tab 2 pro. It crashes and has never opened successfully. I hope you can help. Thanks love all your apps.

Too lazy to write evaluations for products so I rarely do. However, I am new to chess and excited about it and this app is a gem and a must have. Too bad that it doesn't allow users to open Kindle books.

I bought most of apps developed by Asim, and he did a great job! From e-mail conversation, I know he is really enthusiast of chess, also trying to help others to love chess, improve chess, and enjoy chess!

This is such a great app! If you've ever tried reading My System by Nimzowich you'll know how time consuming that can be. This app solves that problem. Very easy to use.

I don't seem to find a menu to go to pdf page quickly. Can help?

Very simple and easy to use. Looks great on my galaxy Note 5 and my LG G pad. The developer is very responsive. 5 stars with explanation mark.

Great for playing through games but with any chess book I like to bookmark games and variations within a book. So can I bookmark the index and then go to page 60 quickly and the back to the index again ? You need to do this with any opening book. I can find no way to do this. Any ideas ? Follow up comment: Since I posted the above I have discovered that with the Galaxy Tab Pro Tablet you have to hold the menu button down for a couple of seconds before you get the app menu. If you just tap it as I was doing you get the tablets task menu.

More frequent updates with more books would be greatly appreciated. Great app. Feature rich. Has everything you'd need to study PDF of a chess book. Great work dev... Please keep developing great chess apps like these...

I have nothing bad to say about this app. Well worth the money. I have most of the developers chess apps and they're all excellent. It would be nice if you could add quick annotation buttons for common symbols, so that it's not necessary to go to the annotation editor to add a ? or !.

Best App to Read Chess Books & Build the Opening Repertoire by saving the important reference games read. Super-Efficient Customer Support. I have been using the Free version for a year and decided to save what I read as a pgn file to be used with other chess programs, so I bought the Pro Version. Worth the money paid, for the convenience and time saved.

This is a great, one-of-a-kind app. It's helpful to have a chess board nearby while studying for obvious reasons. But, that's not always convenient. Plus, this app provides some excellent features to make the experience even better. For me, the killer feature is the ability to easily undo and redo multiple moves. It works great on the Nexus 7 and on my old Galaxy S2. Unfortunately, there's a bug that makes it impossible to open the older style menu on my LG G3, so some functionality is inaccessible.

I have been using this app to study chess books in pdf and djvu formats. I am very satisfied with what I get from it. It remembers where you last were and you can launch Analyse This and any point to study "What If ?" scenarios...

Still Browser could be improved. It looks ancient and usability is not great.

Great App!

This is a very nice app if you want to study your chess ebooks. But is there a way to reverse the board, e. g. if I want to play the games in black's point of view? Please have this option in your next update.

Excellent just what I was looking for. Someone said how to play from blacks point of view? just hold down finger on the board and you can flip from the menu.

Would be nice if you could change the side of the screen the board is on. By default the board is on the right side/bottom of the screen but it would be nice to have a setting to have the board on the left side/top of the screen.

Great little app. Nice features, note taking to PGN would be nice also.
